I originally wasnt going to post this, since the owner/manager did his best to rectify things. But I decided it was too bad, not to. A lot of things went wrong during our visit today, but the primary reason for the post, was the main cook and complete lack of sanitation. I should preface this by saying we have been here a couple times, and this cook is always the one making the food. First let me discuss the food, my wife's order was wrong, and bacon undercooked. My order had multiple items not cooked and 3 slices of cheese just thrown on top of scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. I watched as they literally used an ice cream scoop to put butter on our toast and French toast, which is gross. Unfortunately, it seems like each time we visit, the quality gets worse. Now l, the cook. You would think in a kitchen open for all to see, that sanitation and hygiene would be pretty important. The cook started with gloves on, and while cooking l, was throwing food from the cook top into his mouth, the wiped his mouth and went back to grabbing food from drawers, toast etc. As if that was not bad enough the guy was grabbing himself and picking things up off the ground before again going back to people's food. Pretty gross if you ask me, but the fun didnt stop there. He lost the gloves and went right back to participating in all of the above. My wife and I ate the couple items, we were confident only a spatula touched. Once again, they tried to make things right. But this guy is downright disgusting, and it needed to be said. read more

Ive been going here since they've opened and each experience gets better! Customer service is amazing and so is the food! Some personal favorites: chicken & waffles, breakfast burrito, & French toast (both styles). Mike (who I believe is one of owners) always ensures you have a great experience, if there's a problem, they'll make sure to be aware of it and fix it in any way! We went for lunch last week. Ordered the chicken salad sandwich on brioche roll with handmade potato chips. The sandwich had cranberry and walnuts which was fine, nothing special though there were huge walnuts making it hard to eat. The potato chips were raw potato in the middle of most of them. Other person ordered chicken sandwich and fries. Sandwich was good however fries were soggy. Staff was ok - After being seated, we sat for a good 10 mins before anyone came over (there are only about 15 tables inside and out. Then only took one of our drink (milkshake) and then walked away. The waitress spent lots of time standing behind the counter talking to each other and then putting away supplies for an order that came in. read more

Went here one afternoon with my husband and son. We were excited to try the Ruben. Sad to say we sat there for 20 minutes, no sever, not even a hello from anyone. Just a few waitresses taking care of other tables, no even noticing us. We got up and left and no one even seemed to care. Maybe the food would have been ok, but we will never know since no one even came to our table to wait on us. Seems like after reading other reviews, this isn't the only time this has happened to people. read more

WORST breakfast ever. Filthy Filthy place. Smells like a greasy carnival. Food is horrible. I had scrapings from the bottom of a frying pan for bacon in my omelette. Windows covered in bugs and grime. Floors filthy. One of the wait staff was dressed for a strip joint..shorts so tight an up her butt she may as well been naked..very embarrassing. Good place to stay far away from. Hands down the most gross place and food ever! read more

Food was amazing. I got the Irish Eggs Benedict and the corned beef was so good not that crap in can most places serve. My wife got the cloud French toast, if you like sweets this will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. It was even good re-heated in the toaster oven the next day. read more

Arguably the worst dining experience I've ever had. We had three orders or varying eggs and home fries. Scrambled eggs were taking over an hour to cook so the waitress brought us cold home fries to hold us over. We attempted to pay the bill thinking the food would be out soon thinking we could expedite the process (pay hopefully eat and leave). The waitress charged us but "lost" our card. No explanation other than she couldn't find it. Recommended we cancel the card. No apology or sense of urgency to find our card. In an hour and a half wait the food never came out nor was it prepared. Wouldn't go back if it was the last breakfast place on earth. read more

Sat down for twenty minutes and waited and no server came to our table. Someone say next to us and was served a drink within seconds. Byeeee

First time trying this restaurant for breakfast and my family was pleasantly surprised. We did have a short wait to be seated outside but it was expected given the timing of when we arrived. Once seated our server arrived right away and kindly took our order. Our food was served quickly and the portion sizes were HUGE! My two kids could have split an order of pancakes and my meal almost looked untouched because there was so much. So much so that the owner came out to our vehicle after we had left just to make sure I liked my meal. Talk about truly caring about your customers. We loved watching the planes take off and land (about 20 or so while we ate). We will certainly be back! Tip: the restaurant is inside the main building with very little signage. read more

Two ratings - 5/5 for food and service staff friendliness BUT you will have to wait 45-60 minutes for a table for four or more on the weekend. They're currently experiencing a bee swarming problem outside, so that has a impact on wait times. Table management is a challenge with their FIFO method. Edit: even when offering to split our group up, tons of other families sat before ours. 80 minutes in for a wait and we are committed at this point, but the inexperienced kids seating people will have our family look elsewhere from here on out. The big table sat before us has been waiting to order 30 minutes .... sadly, the worm has turned and what has been a family favorite has turned into a wasted morning and must avoid in the future. Recommendation: come in a weekday or very early on a weekend .... or go elsewhere. We won't be coming back. read more

Pleasantly surprised about this place tucked inside the Mansfield Municipal Airport. Breakfast was awesome. My husband had the Buffalo Omelet special and I had the Baked Apple Pancake special. Wait staff and owners friendly and happy to serve. We will be back. read more

Wow. You've got to go. My server Ginger was friendly and very efficient. The coffee kept on coming. Damn fine coffee. I watched the food being prepared in an open clean kitchen and these folks do not mess around. Old school, proper technique, quality ingredients. I saw my scrambled eggs NOT get pitched on the griddle but cooked properly in a pan, the chef stirring constantly to keep the curds small. Perfect. I saw alto shams (slow cookers) and found that they devoted these exclusively to slow cooking their 0 corned beef for the best homemade corned beef hash I ever had. Huge plate of french toast was enjoyed and they had a special...bananas foster cloud french toast...OMG, Ethereal and aptly named. Must try, The owner was on premises, always a good sign. I look forward to going back to try lunch menu. You should check it out. You will not be disappointed. read more

-- Dislikes: Noisy! Very industrial, 'hard' interior which echoes all sounds in the room. It makes it difficult to keep a conversation going. Too much concrete and metal interior. I've been coming here since the summer and have seen it steadily improve to the point where I can say that the food is consistently good. The servers are fun and efficient (Colleen and Donna are the "A" team) and the portions are generous. And I love the small airport ambiance. Outdoor tables in warm weather seal the deal. BEST corn beef hash!!! It's small so there's usually a long wait but worth it if you have the time.

I would not recommend this place. I placed a pick up order. When they gave me my food had hot items in with cold items. Then I noticed one of my items was missing. The hostess had no knowledge to ask what type oF dressing I'd like or a restaurant knowledge at all. I then spoke with the manager hoping to rectify the situation but she didn't do anything but apologize. After watching my fries sit out getting cold while they were fixing my sandwich. I had to ask for my money back. It was not worth the $40 I was spending. So I walked out with no food and aBout a half hour of my time wasted read more

I had to look here to see if owners had changed. Very disappointedly. My eggs where over cooked asked I'm for over medium and had nothing runny what's so ever. Fun and fresh atmosphere. Good selection of breakfast dishes. I had the Irish Benny which was a fantastic blend of eggs Benedict partnered with the sweetness of Portuguese muffins. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had! We were told a 25 minute wait and couldn't sit at the counter. People walked in and sat at the counter 10 minutes later. We waited 50 minutes to sit down, were sat in the hot sun swarmed by bees. We waited an additional hour to get our food! We had eggs Benny and a burrito. Our son ordered chocolate chip pancakes and it came without the chocolate chips! At this point I believe it was the owner came out to give us 2 free lunch passes. Are you kidding? The food is great, went two weeks ago. Service wasn't the best. Had to leave my table to get the bill and was waiting at the register for a while before anyone even looked at me even though there were a bunch of people. Not their fault but there are a lot of bees on the patio, to the point we couldn't really eat in peace. I wouldn't sit outside for that reason. I would go back and try again. We have had several good experiences here both service and food but the last couple of visits were not great. Breakfast has been consistent but lunch food is just so-so. My Greek salad was served without dressing. When I asked for some they had to make it and it came 5-10 minutes after the food and looked and tasted like mayonnaise! For a $15 Greek salad I was disappointed. Flies/bees inside have been an issue the last couple visits as well. Really want to love it here! read more

The cloud french toast is amazing, the prices not so much! They seem to have scaled back the portions which is good because it was just too much food and the prices were high. We often split a meal between two of us. They have made gluten free eggs for us but no other GF menu items. read more

I just had THE BEST breakfast! I had the cloud French toast and my boyfriend had the Irish Benny. They were both delicious. Our waitress (Jess) was attentive and so personable. We were there at the perfect time of 7:45 and there wasn't a wait. We'll definitely go back and I'd love to try lunch there someday. read more

Wow finally a great new breakfast/lunch place in town, that gets it. We have enjoyed breakfast at the Hanger several times and never been disappointed. I wasn't going to write a review as I fear that I will alert folks to one of the best breakfast places ever and I'll be waiting to find a table or seat at the counter. Well I decided to go out of my way as too many folks only find the time to ding those places that fail them, this will never do that. I have sent numerous friends and each time their reviews are nothing but outstanding. Great wait staff Donna and Colleen who always go out of there way to stop by and say hello, no matter how busy they are to make you feel welcomed. Great service and great food is rare in the world we live today. Thanks to the owners, great job, let's keep this staple in town for years to come. read more
