I've been to hangar 12 a few times and always enjoyed it but went this past week and am disappointed. Food and service were decent but what really bothered me was when I got home and saw my emailed receipt I realized I was overcharged by $8. I reached out via email in hopes they would correct the mistake but never heard back. It's certainly not about the money but I am disappointed that no one even bothered to apologize never mind correct the mistake. I ended up paying $22 for a bowl of romaine lettuce with a small serving of chicken and a few tomatoes. Just didn't leave a great taste in my mouth never hearing back. Food is fine, typical breakfast place, asked us to wait for half hour and it was about an hour and half, nice of them to offer a rose on Mother's Day to everyone except for us, probably forgot about it for us, and ambiance is 5 stars, overlooking airport, priceless. read more

It's worth checking out solely for the fact that it's a diner in an airport and I mean hey that's not nothing! That being said, food isn't as good as Kelly'a Place or Cafe on the Common, so after that first novelty trip I would just stick to one of those. read more

Best breakfast place in town! The lunch is pretty great too! The amount of food you get is crazy, I'm always taking half home with me! Staff is amazing, super nice. The restaurant is always clean and it's so cool to watch all the planes take off while you eat. There are always daily specials and the food is always fresh! My favorites are the corned beef hash, french toast and the massive size burgers for lunch. I would suggest to go early on weekends cause it's always packed, but very much worth the wait! My only suggestion: Tinted windows would be great. I know a window cover wouldn't work cause people want to see the planes, but sometimes that sun is pretty harsh! read more

Well truthfully I don't know how the food is, because we waited over 15 minutes (I have a watch) at the counter as multiple waitstaff passed by avoiding eye contact. Someone who I have to assume was the owner stood talking to the people right next to us for 5 minutes. Thought he might have noticed we had menus but no drinks, but no. We walked out went downtown and had coffee in 5 & food in 10. I don't think having multiple staff serving one small counter leads to good service. My first time trying this place, I just loved it. The food, the location and staff were very nice. Located in Mansfield Municipal Airport, It is a real cool breakfast place. I saw my friend posted about it so I gave it a try. Wow, such an awesome place. I had, of course, waffle and chicken. Loved it! My wife had Omelet with spinach, bell peppers and mushrooms with swiss cheese. Believe it or not, it's so simple yet so gooood. My little cousin had Crystal cloud french toast. She also loved it. Easily a five star spot for me. And it's super close to my house that is sure a plus. read more

Two hostesses were seating guests. The restaurant was following Covid protocols had both inside and lots of outside seating. Server very nice. Food arrived fast and was delicious. Great view when the planes are flying. The flying motive is very nice and kids seem to greatly enjoy it. read more

I had absolutely no idea this place even existed, but as my family recommended we go eat there, i bit the bullet and decided to eat some breakfast here. I dont have very high standards to enjot a breakfast so i would have probably been fine with even something mediocre, but woe was this so much extraordinarily better than that. I got myself the Irish Benedict and it was absolutely one of the best breakfasts ive had in a while... the eggs were so great mixed in with the delicious, spiced up hash and protugese muffin... it was so good! Went there recently for the first time after reading great reviews on local social media. Those reviews were spot on! I tried the corned beef hash with 3 poached eggs. The hash was a unique home-made recipe heavy on large chucks of lightly seasoned corned beef with much more beef than potato which was fine by me. The eggs were poached perfectly, something many breakfast places seem to have a hard time with. The service was good during a slow early morning and the chef stopped by to ask how everything was. (I told him pretty much what I just wrote above) Just a note on signage: There is none as a discovered when a man asked me for directions to the place in the parking lot as I was leaving. Granted, there's only one building, but all it has is a sign for the airport. No signs on the panel at the entrance, either. Picky, I know, but a sign wouldn't hurt. read more

We went to this little breakfast spot at the Mansfield Municipal Airport. It had good reviews from friends of mine as well as on Yelp. However it turned out not to be as good as everyone had said we did get the eggs benedict corned beef hash I was very disappointed two out of the three eggs with fully cooked so I had no yellow to drizzle over my egg the English muffin things they were using on the bottom was supposed to be grilled it was toasted cuz it was kind of hard on my teeth and then besides that the home fries was so cooked that we could not even eat them we would break our teeth on and it was so bad. My other half also had the sausages and eggs which ended up being $9 the sausages with cooked while like he likes but there was still cold in the center. His home fries worthwhile cooked his mind which were too well cooked. We ordered coffee his coffee was $ 2 95 and I ordered an iced coffee that was flavored it ended up costing me 495 for an iced coffee I could have had refills but I did not know much it was if I had known how much it had been I would not have ordered the iced coffee. The server was wonderful I do not remember her name however we do know that we will not be going back the total bill even after military discount of 10% was still $32 which is ridiculous for breakfast. And then of course you have to leave a tip on that so cost is close to $40 for breakfast it will definitely be a one-time thing because this was even more mine if I was treating myself for a special occasion. I don't feel it was worth the price we paid maybe 20 but definitely not close to $40. read more

Went here for the first and last time today. Ordered with a table next to us. They got their food, ate and left before our two plates of ice cold breakfast even arrived. Already made biscuits and already made gravy take 57 minutes? Of course not, our waitress forgot about us and finally brought us our cold food and realized we probably finished our drinks about 30 minutes prior, so only made us wait about 30 additional minutes for a refill on tea. The food might have been tasty if it was even remotely warm. She didn't check on us and at this point it was past lunch time so we ate what we could and left. I also would never brag about "homemade" corned beef hash when it's tasteless shreds of dried meat mixed with the shredded potatoes. She was insanely quick when cashing us out, ironically. Horrible. You can tell a place is going to be good when you can smell something delicious the moment you open the door. We popped in here on a wimb after finding them here. We ordered 3 irish benedicts and the Crystal Cloud french toast. The hash on the bennys is home made and fabulous. Seasoned perfectly. The portuguese muffin is perfect underneath. The ONLY downside, all 6 eggs were over cooked and not runny, but, we still delicious. The french toast is the star of the show. I went to Hangar12 with my family on a recent Sunday morning for breakfast. You wouldn't expect it to be a big deal, as breakfast food is just that: no big deal. But the food at least has to be cooked. The cooks here appeared to go out of their way to ruin everything. The bacon was terrible. The home fries were cold, hard, and tasteless, like supermarket bought from frozen. The toast wasn't really toasted, and the over easy eggs were hard. I did a better job when I was a child, learning how to cook in my mother's kitchen. There are plenty of decent breakfast shops around. We won't be going back to Hangar 12. Once a month, I do breakfast with my 12 yr old grandson. Every month we head to a different place. Two months ago we went here and he asked if we could go back this past weekend. I was happy to oblige! He is a major fan of the chicken and waffles. There's not a scrap left on his plate. This weekend, I got the skillet - WAY more food than I could eat but delicious...so I guess I'll go back to my eggs scrambled with cheese and my home fries lol. First time I went here, I was with a friend and we had a terrible experience! That was about 5 months ago. We got a seat at the bar after about 10 minutes of waiting. Then waited over 30 minutes for our breakfast; Irish Bennys and a spinach and feta omelet. We got no attention, just trying to get a glass of oj was a 10 minute ordeal. The employee's coats were piled on top of each other behind the bar, next to the trash can on the ground was a bunch of trash that nobody could be bothered to pick up. Then a few of the employees huddled there to bad mouth another employee!!! We saw our order sitting in the kitchen for at least another 5 minutes. The omelet was cold when we finally got it. I thought "never again am I coming back to this place". Just an incredibly poorly managed business. I went back last weekend with my husband. I said to him to expect a wait of at least 15 minutes before we would even get our coffee. Our waitress Stephanie came over, took our order, gave us coffee, oj, water and our breakfast (Irish Benny, loaded omelet, and a side of french toast), all in just about 15 minutes! Stephanie was awesome! She was quick, efficient, and attentive. All the wait staff was friendly and said hello. The whole experience there was awesome! And it looked cleaner. Obviously some changes have taken place since the first time I was there. There will be probably be a wait to get seated, but there is coffee in the waiting area (a great touch!) Now I have to go back to everybody I bad-mouthed this place to, and tell them to try it (btw-their corned beef hash is amazing!!!). We'll be back again soon :) read more
