We really enjoyed the tostones and look forward going back to try more items on the menu soon! The unique location of it being a school bus outside Tractor Supply made this experience feel like a fun little side quest! Enjoy your meal inside the bus or take it to go! Cheers!

Fried sweet plantains are one of my favorite things (and what I miss most about living in Miami may years ago...) So this weekend I finally decided to stop there. How fun to realize that half of the bus is also tables for an actual sit-in dining experience?! What a cute, unique experience. Also I learned they are closed Sunday & Monday, but otherwise there in the week for lunch through dinner. I got there at a perfect time - I was the only person. But they shortly got several more customers as I was there. I was really just going to order fried sweet plantains, but I decided to get the "vegan arepa" with is an arepa with black brands, avocado, and the friend sweet plantains. ($11.50) I'm not vegan / I eat meat, but that combination looked appealing today and would also get me some of the sweet plaintains that I was craving. I got it to go, and it came with a little side of a nice crème sauce, and a little side of red sauce that I very quickly learned was ghost pepper! Which I don't see mention of on the menu, but I heard the other patrons in the bus talking about it. (I will say, I did save the rest of that little contianer ... gonna suffer wth it on some other food, too ...) The food was a #yum! Definitely next time going to go all-in on the sweet plantains, too. #ReviewsByRL

I ordered the Conners BBQ Nachos, which are cuckoo. If you get them with everything on them, there will be so much stuff on top of the tortilla chips that you'll think you ordered a garbage plate. You get nacho cheese, your choice of meat (pork, chicken or brisket), sour cream, jalapeños, black olives, onions, bacon bits ... and also mac & cheese and baked beans. On top of the nachos! I was aghast. Luckily, you can get the mac & cheese and baked beans on the side, or not at all. The Conners BBQ Nachos are completely customizable, but I recommend getting the mac & cheese and baked beans on the side, because then it's like you got two mini sides for free. We also got the pulled pork sandwich with fries (yum) and the Flight of Sliders: four mini sliders with brisket, pork, sausage and chicken. There's nary a lettuce leaf or tomato slice in sight -- these are just meat-and-bun sandwiches. All of the food comes undressed, by the way. You add your own barbecue sauce from the bottles at your table. They have an original sauce, a sweet sauce and a spicy sauce. The spicy barbecue sauce is not at all spicy, it just has a little kick. They have a kids menu, with mini sliders, mac & cheese, and chicken tenders. Each come with a side, but the mac & cheese comes with two sides. My kid got the mini sliders, but ordered just one with a side of mac & cheese. He finished it all and probably could have eaten another slider, so if you have an older kid, or a kid with a big appetite, get two sliders. Big Dog's goes big in the ambiance department. There's a plethora of vintage ephemera all over the restaurant. It's a fun restaurant. Even the seating is wacky: You can sit at a table that looks like an old motorcycle, or a table that looks like you're sitting inside of a Ford truck. There's a pinball machine that you can play for a quarter, and an old juke box, and one of those singing fish in the men's bathroom. (This is what I was told.) There are all kinds of license plates and traffic signs and photos and knickknacks everywhere, especially Coca-Cola memorabilia. Big Dog's is a fun place to visit! The menu and decor reflect that, for sure.

They were an oasis of "something different" in a sea of "pretty much the same" food, like hot dogs and pretzels. (Though, no shade to those foods. It's just sometimes, you want something different, you know?) So when you're looking for something different, and you see Earl B's at a festival or event, this is the truck to visit. Earl B's was serving bao when we saw them: a yeasted, steamed bun that, according to my youngest child, has the texture of a marshmallow. (And it really does! This kid is going places in the food world, I just know it.) The bao at Earl B's are filled with your choice of chicken, brisket or pulled pork. We got the Earl B's Sampler, which came with three bao -- chicken, pork and brisket -- filled with toppings like mango salsa, pickled red onions and purple cabbage. The Sampler also comes with fries. These were delicious! I really liked the chicken bao, which had a nice kick to it from the salsa verde. We also got the loaded fries with pork, which were topped with cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, barbecue sauce and jalapenos. Amazing, amazing loaded fries! I especially liked when I got to the bottom, where there were crunchy bits of fries still awaiting me. Sometimes, with loaded fries, they can get too bogged down with toppings and get soggy. Not so with the loaded fries from Earl B's. They portioned the toppings just right. Earl B's had bao available when we visited, but it looks like their menu changes, and they also sometimes serve sandwiches. But they are always serving barbecued meat. What they offer probably depends on the location, so you should probably check their website or social media to see where they will be and what they will be serving.

Absolutely Exceptional!…read more Every year, our team gathers at one of our Noblesville locations for a meeting that sets the tone for the upcoming year. It is our kickoff event, filled with presentations, reflections on the past year, well-deserved recognition, and plans for the future. With an event this significant, catering plays a vital role in creating a memorable experience. This year, after careful research, we chose Earl B's Catering, and I could not be happier with our decision. What made Michael's service even more extraordinary was that our meeting was held on New Year's Day, and he still managed to deliver exceptional catering on such a busy and significant holiday. From the start, communication was seamless, professional, and friendly. The prices were extremely reasonable, and the quality of the food was truly outstanding, better than we could have hoped for. Michael arrived promptly, set up a beautiful buffet for 35 people in no time, and thought of every detail to make our event effortless. He provided drinks, cups, sauces, high-quality utensils for serving and eating, sturdy plates, and everything else we needed. His setup made it easy for us to focus on enjoying the food and the company, knowing everything was taken care of. Now, the food. Let me tell you, it was unforgettable. We had brisket, pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans, and buns for sandwiches. Every single dish was served hot, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. The brisket was tender, the pulled pork was flavorful, and the chicken was juicy, each one a hit with our group. The sides were just as impressive, adding the perfect complement to the main dishes. Every single one of our attendees raved about the food, and seeing their satisfaction brought me so much joy. The positive energy carried through the rest of our meeting, and I truly believe the amazing catering was a big part of that. I wholeheartedly recommend Earl B's Catering for any event. The combination of honest pricing, exceptional service, and superior taste is unmatched. Supporting a business owned by a veteran and firefighter made it all the more special. Michael delivered above and beyond expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next opportunity to work with him. Thank you, Michael and Earl B's Catering, for making our New Year's Day meeting not just a success, but an experience to remember.
