We arrived and it was a little busy but it didn't deter us. We were greeted and asked if we were ready and we said we needed a few minutes. The lady told us to take our time. They don't have much seating maybe a few seats but it was clean and inviting. I ordered the 3 original tenders with Mac & cheese, golden sauce and cluck sauce. No pickle. Cluck loaded fries. The Tenders were big as I was only able to finish 1 1/2 and they were fried perfectly. The Mac & Cheese was amazing and I wish I had a bigger amount. My Favorite sauce was the golden Sauce. I did ask for no pickle but it was still there which was fine. The Loaded Fries I could have done without as it was just chicken and fries. The food is cooked to order so you will get whatever you order fresh. Hangry Cluck is a few minutes away from Midway Airport. It's a great place to stop by to get food before. The serving size is are pretty big portions. You do get fries with whatever you order. We had the three chicken, tender combo, loaded, cluck, fries, and the cluck burger. The chicken tenders were fresh and crunchy. They were delicious. I was able to have each tender a different flavor. They have different spice rubs you can choose from. I got the original hot and extra spicy. The loaded cluck fries consisted of chopped up chicken tenders onto a bed of fries with cheese more seasonings. It does come with macaroni on top of it, but I chose to have macaroni on the side instead. The portion of the loaded cluck fries can feed up to two people. It was delicious. It is a medley of spices, chicken and extra texture from the fries. In general the fries are extremely good, loaded & regular. They are the ridge cut fries. Delicious! The last thing that I had was the cluck burger it is a hamburger with a steak patty and two chicken tenders on it along with cluck sauce, pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce. On a brioche bun. This burger was my favorite part! It was delicious. This was my first time ever having something like this having beef and chicken at the same time. The bun was the perfect amount. The cluck sauce on it really brought everything together. The burger does come with cheese if you want it I chose to not have cheese on it. They will accommodate you to, however you'd like to have your meal prepared. Just let them know beforehand before they cook it. The staff was very nice. The owner was there and was very welcoming. The hangry cluck is a pretty solid spot but doesn't not size up to what I've dubbed as the Big 3 (Roost, Fry the Coop, and Dave's Hot). The food here is fresh and reasonably priced which is always a nice touch. While I believe there are better sandwiches out there, they still manage to do hot chicken very well compared to most. The thing that stood out to me was the friendliness of the employees and the quick and fresh hand off of the food. I would come back but this isn't something I'd crave like the Big 3. Went for their grand opening, pretty unorganized, they said there was a raffle but really what it was was anybody that looked like them could go up and ask for a shirt and hat and it would be given to them. This little, nondescript gem in a small strip mall just south of Midway Airport is a FIND. two things - flavor and serving size! Two hearty chicken tenders (seriously, they were so fat, I feel like most places would've sliced one in half and passed it off as two - not here!) medium spice, topped with coleslaw and cluck sauce did not disappoint.
