    Nashville burger

I came in just wanting a chicken sandwich and left convinced I'd found the best one ever. Hangry Cluck Halal style chicken is seriously the best sandwich I've had, and I've tried a lot of them. Place is simple, nothing crazy, a few photos of the food on the walls so you already know what you're getting into. Staff was chill, not over the top but friendly enough where you feel comfortable. I got the mild Nashville burger. Two juicy tenders, pickles, crunchy coleslaw, and that wild Cluck Sauce. First bite was incredible, all my taste buds were activated at once, I was getting sweet, tangy and a little heat from the spice sneaking at every bite. Not heavy, not greasy, just pure balanced flavor. The pickles and coleslaw cut through everything, so every bite feels fresh. It was a beautiful and tasty mess. Honestly, finger licking good. I thought about grabbing another one to go but honestly, it's not the same at home. This is one of those sandwiches you gotta eat fresh, right there!. I'm already planning to come back.

The ambience of this restaurant was very welcoming. The restaurant is clean and smells very good. There is a small seating area, you can sit and eat if you'd like. The food is cooked to order so you will get whatever you order fresh. Hangry Cluck is a few minutes away from Midway Airport. It's a great place to stop by to get food before. The serving size is are pretty big portions. You do get fries with whatever you order. We had the three chicken, tender combo, loaded, cluck, fries, and the cluck burger. The chicken tenders were fresh and crunchy. They were delicious. I was able to have each tender a different flavor. They have different spice rubs you can choose from. I got the original hot and extra spicy. The loaded cluck fries consisted of chopped up chicken tenders onto a bed of fries with cheese more seasonings. It does come with macaroni on top of it, but I chose to have macaroni on the side instead. The portion of the loaded cluck fries can feed up to two people. It was delicious. It is a medley of spices, chicken and extra texture from the fries. In general the fries are extremely good, loaded & regular. They are the ridge cut fries. Delicious! The last thing that I had was the cluck burger it is a hamburger with a steak patty and two chicken tenders on it along with cluck sauce, pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce. On a brioche bun. This burger was my favorite part! It was delicious. This was my first time ever having something like this having beef and chicken at the same time. The bun was the perfect amount. The cluck sauce on it really brought everything together. The burger does come with cheese if you want it I chose to not have cheese on it. They will accommodate you to, however you'd like to have your meal prepared. Just let them know beforehand before they cook it. The staff was very nice. The owner was there and was very welcoming. It's a very family oriented restaurant establishment. I highly recommend it! Everything is 100% Halal. All of the meats tasted fresh and were prepared professionally. We chose to eat inside. You can order carry out if you'd like. I will be coming back!

I came here with some friends to try this new Halal Fried Chicken restaurant. Service is really friendly and you can tell they take pride in their food. The restaurant is pretty small, so if it gets busy, you may not be able to dine in. I love a good chicken sandwich, and this one did not disappoint. In fact, it was above the standards of most other places I have been. All of the sauces taste fresh and are made in store, including their ranch and named sauces. The chicken itself is perfectly battered and fried with a balance between moisture and flavor. The Nashville hot seasoning is a powder, but it compliments the slaw, sauce, and pickles very well. I also ordered their cluck fries, which come with their chicken, seasoning, and sauces on top. The fries are alright, but the chicken definitely elevates it. I highly recommend coming here.

So glad I got to try this place! I tried the loaded fries, which come perfectly seasoned and topped with cheese, chicken tender pieces, and pickles. I also opted for the golden chicken burger, and it was fantastic and so filling. It came with 2 large chicken tenders on the tasty bun, accompanied by pickles and their golden sauce, which was delicious! You have the option for your spice level, but I went with original. The serving of food was very generous, and those 2 items were way more than I could eat in one sitting. Although there is space to eat indoors, it worked perfectly to take my food to go also. Food was prepared in about 10 minutes. There's plenty of parking out front and on the side street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole menu looks great, so I can't wait to come back and try some more!

It was enjoyable! Service was fast and easy and the food was so great, just enough spicy to give you a kick and the flavors all worked together perfectly.

WOW...it's some of the best fast food. And the staff is soooo amazingly friendly and helpful. Those fries are fire. The sandwich is amazing. I will so be back and be back often. There isn't much seating, but I'd go even if I had to sit in the car to eat.

This spot is small wish it was bigger to sit down and dine in also the parking lot. First time trying the food could've got the macaroni on the side it was okay but everything else was good.

I recently dined at the hangry cluck and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The chicken here is absolutely mouthwatering - crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor in every bite. The menu offers a great variety of options to choose from, ensuring there's something for everyone. Not only was the food top-notch, but the service was exceptional as well. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and clean, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends and family. Pricing was very reasonable & even better the servings were over generous. Very clean inside the restaurant which is a big plus. Easy parking coming in and out the plaza.

The seating could use better seats as the stools offer no back support and they're made out of metal

We chose to dine at Girl & the Goat in Chicago, a restaurant we had never visited before. The acclaimed restaurant by renowned chef Stephanie Izard truly lived up to its stellar reputation! One of the first things we appreciated was the convenience of the restaurant's valet parking, located right by the front patio. At $22 for up to four hours and $26 for four to eight hours, the rates were quite reasonable for the area. As soon as the three of us stepped inside Girl & the Goat (we had made a reservation for 6:30 pm on a Friday), we were warmly greeted by one of the two friendly hostesses, and were promptly led to a comfortable four-top table with a banquette and two chairs along the wall. We felt fortunate to have one of the better tables in the dining room, as some of the others were positioned very close together. The nearby two-top tables, in particular, were quite small and placed only a short distance from ours. The restaurant's rustic-industrial décor was dark but trendy and stylish, the lively and vibrant vibe was warm and welcoming. However, I have to mention that it was really loud in the dining room, as guests seemed to be enjoying themselves and talked loudly.  It was hard to hear our server and the staff who delivered and explained the dishes to us.  Our server, Yazmin, was extremely friendly and attentive.  It was very sweet of her to wish us a happy anniversary both in the beginning  and at the end of the meal.  She also checked in on us several times during the evening.  Now, on to the food and drinks. I started with a glass of the NA Sparkling Rosé ($17), which was light, crisp, and quite refreshing. My husband ordered a glass of Le Colture Prosecco ($18), while our daughter chose the Sun Kid ($18). She enjoyed her drink, although she felt the portion was a bit small, as the glass was filled with a lot of ice that took up much of the space. Since the restaurant offers small to medium plates which are shareable, Yazmin advised us to get 5 to 6 dishes for 3 people to share.  We decided to get 5 savory dishes and 3 desserts to share: Savory dishes: - Chickpea Fritters ($20), goat yogurt, green chutney, sev spice crunch, pickled rhubarb. - Pan Roasted Halibut ($37), miso-Marcona almond butter, spring onion blueberry nuoc cham. - Roasted Pig Face ($28), sunny side egg, tamarind, cilantro, red wine-maple, potato stix. - Goat Empanadas ($24), smoked tomato-corn salsa, roasted poblano crema queso fresco. - Confit Goat Belly ($38), strawberry goat braise, smoked yogurt drizzle, pickled strawberries. Desserts: - Vacation, Please! ($16), toasted coconut crunch, lemon passion fruit sorbet, rum-soaked pineapple cake. - Berry Yummy Par-tea ($16), earl grey soaked sponge cake, yuzu curd, spiced blackberries. - Chocolate Basil Brownie Bash ($16), olive oil semifreddo, chocolate fennel crunch, basil granita. The meal was just phenomenal!  All the savory dishes were cooked perfectly with bold flavors; the meats were tender and full of flavors.  There were dishes that we normally would not have ordered if we saw them on menus of other restaurants.  Here, we tried them and were delighted that we did!  Our consensus is that Roasted Pig Face is our most favorite! It is everything we love in a comfort dish -- crispy on the outside, meltingly tender inside, and packed with rich, balanced flavor.  We will definitely order this again!  The Confit Goat Belly is a close second, with buttery, fall-apart meat and just the right balance of richness, acidity, and crunch. For dessert, "Vacation, Please!" is the one that we will always come back for. The toasted coconut crunch adds texture, the lemon passion fruit sorbet brings a refreshing tang, and the rum-soaked pineapple cake ties it all together with just the right amount of sweetness.  The other two desserts that we ordered were also very good.  The staff even brought out a scoop of Chocolate Ice Cream on the house, with two lit candles to celebrate our anniversary - a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more memorable.  This dessert spread was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. I'd like to mention that the restaurant added a 4% surcharge to the bill, which the customer may request to have the surcharge remove if you choose.  We let them keep it. We spent about two hours at the restaurant. The savory dishes came out very quickly, the pace probably was even a tad too fast, but the desserts made up for it by taking a longer time.  We did not mind as we were still full, and had time to enjoy the ambiance more.  I would say it is a restaurant great for group gathering and celebratory functions, but not so much for intimate romantic date night.  All in all, it was a wonderful dinner, we look forward to returning again.

I was there the other week (I've been here at least five times before), and a busser--not our…read morewaiter--started clearing both of our plates before we were finished eating. We each only had a couple of bites left, but it definitely gave off an "okay, you're done now" vibe. Then he went to take the green beans (arguably the cult classic on the menu), and we still had more than half of them left. I had to stop him and say, "Yeah, we're not done with those. We paid for them. Can you put them in a to-go box instead?" For context, it was about 20 minutes before closing, but we ordered with plenty of time and were already eating with a "get in, eat, and get out" mindset. I've just never had someone at a restaurant start clearing plates while we were still actively eating--without asking, "Are you finished?" "Can I clear this?" or "Would you like a to-go box?" It was just... "You're done, these are leaving now." We were there for less than 45 minutes, left about 15 minutes before closing, and spent over $200 (not including the tip). With so many options in Chicago, I don't see myself coming back here.

Mezza [Combo platter including Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, Ta'ameya(falafel), Tabboula(salad): Our favorite was the Banana Ghanoush, as it was one of the most flavorful baba ghanoush I have had and contained a very good char. The hummus was a little more on the sour side, and the texture of the salad was refreshing. The bread was also made fresh and was refillable as well, which we appreciated. My friend liked the falafel, but I think it was a little too dry, and I wish they could increase the intensity of the spices to make it pop out more. The chili sauce helped a lot though. Cairo Platter (Kofta, Chicken, Beef): The Kofta is my favorite-seasoned, soft and tender. Out of the two times I got this, the chicken and the beef were not as moist/juicy-they were okay. Overall I wish they gave us more Kofta though, since there wasn't much of it, and the platter was on the pricier side. Shawarma Plate: The shawarma was tasty and the portions were good. I personally liked adding the chili sauce on top. Macorrona Bechamel: Our favorite dish. It tasted like Mac and cheese but the flavors are even more nuanced and complex. Very delicious and honestly we wished we ordered one per person . Overall I really like the restaurant, and I think some of the dishes were really well made, you just need to find them :). I hope the quality is more consistent as we will visit again.
