First time here on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! Parking was easy, the service fast and friendly, and my order was correct according to my specifications- I shall return soon ! Indoor and outdoor seating available with cool sports memorabilia all over the walls.

Stopped by to pick up a turkey sub for lunch- was a bit overwhelmed by their menu (so many choices!). I ended up choosing a basic turkey sub (#2 on their menu) and it was delicious. The bread was soft and all the ingredients were fresh. Service was good, too. I'll have to examine their menu before I go in next time!

Been wanting to try Dan's Super Subs for quite awhile. The business is a bit larger inside than it seems from the outside. It's small but has tables in the front and back. It's like stepping into a scene with mostly locals. A secret little world. Ordered the cheese sub and absolutely enjoyed it. Customer service was friendly. My root beer was very good too. Recommend.

The pictures don't do justice to how amazing these sandwiches are! I've been coming here for a few years now and have tried many of their sandwiches. My absolute favorite is the "LA Street Pastrami." The regular size is perfect, but if you're really hungry, go for the jumbo size. Every single ingredient in the sandwich is fresh, and the softness of the bread sets it apart from others. They have a huge menu, so I'm sure you'll find your perfect sandwich. The customer service is great; the owners know the regulars by name. Parking is limited, which can be frustrating at times. Lunchtime can get very busy, so be prepared to wait or consider ordering online for a quick pickup. I highly recommend this place--you won't be disappointed!

I was passing through the area and wanted a sub so I decided to stop in this place. When you first walk in it's pretty small but they also have seating outside. I got lucky and there was no line. I ordered a turkey sub that was very fresh and delicious.

Ask the Community - Dan's Super Subs

Would you ever consider offering vegan meat like Unreal Deli turkey, steak and pastrami for your vegan subs?

    They never should.

Can we pick up catering order on Sundays?

Sorry, but they are closed on Sundays.

Will the old hours of operation ever come back?

I heard that the hours changed to allow the owner to tend to an ailing parent. How that ultimately plays out is anyone's guess

Will you be open on Super Bowl Sunday for catering pick up?

Unfortunately, we will be closed. Our crew did not vote **yes,** so we go with that.. Cheers

Do you have gluten free bread?

    No, I am sorry.

Does their wheat bread have sesame seeds on them?

    NO.

Are you guys open for dine in?

They're only open for outdoor dining but there's only like two or three tables available.

    Any gluten free subs?

Ok. I've seen this place online and thought to myself "if I'm ever in Woodland Hills, I'm going…read morehere". Well.....today was the day. It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

Est. 1969- One of the west valley's most popular sandwich…read morespots, Cricca's Italian Deli is another family run shop that has earned a reputation for fresh food, massive sandwiches, excellent flavors and friendly service. The family vibe is very present and the impressive bulletin board (Cricca's Community) really brings out the neighborhood feel of the place. It's better than the yellow pages, offering everything from handyman services and guitar lessons, to divorce attorneys and mobile RV repair. But I digress. Did I mention how massive the sandwiches are?! I went with the two most popular items on the menu, starting off with the Al Capone (hot Pastrami, double meat, on crusty bread). This is an excellent sandwich, and the meat is pretty lean - not a lot of fat). I also ordered the Godfather (cold Italian Sub - Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham, Capocollo, Salami, Pepperoni, Swiss Cheese and Provolone). Also, delicious. You rarely get turkey and roast beef in an Italian sub - so good. The service was very friendly and helpful. There are a few indoor tables, in case you can't wait for that first bite. I wish I lived closer so I can visit more often; I would be here all the time. Definitely one of the best sandwiches in LA. If you haven't been to Cricca's, then you don't know sandwiches.
