We just stopped by here on a whim and we will be coming back to try everything. The owner was there today, apparently they've just re-opened after a fire shut them down. He was incredibly kind and so was the staff. The ambiance was happy and clean. The food was incredible, more items have been added to the original menu- cant wait to give a lot of them a try. The owner even had a crepe made for us as a thank you for supporting them and it was so good. Holy moly.

Brunching in Calabasas with some work colleagues! The place is packed at peak times. They allow you to order at the cashier or the QR Code and you prepay. Ordered the following: California Omelette Crunchy French Toast Overall, this place serves up brunch and vegan options. The water had mint and lemons in it. I enjoyed my diced potatoes :)

We really liked this restaurant. We got seated pretty fast and they were pretty friendly. We got the florentine eggs Benedict and eggwhich. They were both delicious!!

This morning I ordered from Blu Jam Cafe, 2x Sunrise Stacks & 2x Churro French Toast . The service was prompt and the food was appetizing and warm. I did not observed the ambiance because it was a delivery.

Cute busy little spot. No cash place which Please keep that in mind... You order on the phone after scanning the QR code on the tables but the staff is still busy running around and on top of their service always checking up on you a little not traditional. The food was OK I think i will be back to try some other popular dishes I personally ordered out of my normal but they had so many options and everything I seen looked delicious my daughter said her food was AMAZING and mine was tasty too I just will try something else next time. I did have a nice matcha chai and it was amazing

Always an amazing experience at blu jam. Cute little cafe in the corner of a popular plaza. It can definitely get busy at times so be prepared on a Sunday morning. I always recommend getting the chilaquiles and crunchy french toast with the volcanic coffee or a fresh juice. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu though.

The vegan tostada is cravable. I crave it so bad that anytime I am now in the area - I look at the clock and see if it's time to eat yet. The first time I had it I was going to take a picture after I tried it... but then it was gone. It's too bad for any vegan tostada I have from now one because the bar has been set very high because of the Blu Jam cafe. The size of it works out pretty good too. It a big plate and I am a big boy - but It's not too much. I hope you have the exact same pallet as me so that you can enjoy this dish as much as I do. (For reference I enjoy cheese and eggs and bacon but do not eat anything from the ocean. I also do not really enjoy eating most vegan foods I have tried) It will be years before I try something else on their menu and that's cool because I've already lived a full life. Trust me. Thank you

All hail the brunch burger, the only burger I've had in recent memory to NOT disintegrate after one or two bites. Blu Jam Cafe is a nice, quiet, go-to cafe spot for anyone getting their brunch fix. My party was immediately seated upon entering and scanned QR codes on the table, where we ended up ordering our food. I have my own take on QR code only establishments, but they have a gigantic menu on the chalkboard up front, so this gets a pass. I ordered the Orange Creamsicle Whip Creamsicle, Brunch Burger, and shared the Crunchy French Toast with my party. I finished my Creamsicle before I even got my burger. Not sure if I was just really thirsty or I enjoyed it that much. I'm assuming it's a bit of both. It was a monthly special and it's a drink I'd recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth. A mixture of vanilla and orange with a lot of cream. The Brunch Burger was like any burger I've had except for the fact that it held its structure through the entire meal. Now I don't know about you, but that is incredibly unheard of. I was able to eat all the different layers together in its entirety. Awesome job with the way it was put together. The side of cubed potatoes were decent. French Toast was a home run. Sweet, crunchy, and nicely cut to make it easier to share. The liquid frosting is served on the side so you can either dip the Toast or just cover the entire plate. Options!!!!! We had to flag staff a few times for extra water and for the status of our French Toast (they forgot to bring it to us and it was just sitting out) as they didn't really check up on us aside from bringing the food over. Otherwise, the food is great and I'd recommend it to those looking for a brunch spot.

Inside is pretty bright and open and has just tables, there is not a counter or booths. This is much more of an elevated bistro/café type of place versus a diner or westside trendy LA brunch spot. I say that in the menu is also a bit limited however, there are a lot of great options on it. Our server was very polite, but there was quite a delay for our items after our order was placed. For my breakfast, I chose the Salted Caramel Latte to start and I thought this was actually very sweet and tasty, any caramel fan would enjoy it. It was a nice treat to start the meal and I would recommend. I followed up with the Crispy Prosciutto Benedict, and added avocado, which I would highly recommend doing. The crispy prosciutto was a really nice touch although the bread was a bit soggy and my eggs were a little bit overdone. It still had some nice flavors and I really did enjoy the side of potatoes with it. Overall, I would recommend for a nice quick and casual option with friends or family.

We saw & Waffles on Yelp and decided to walk down her from the coffee shop, which was maybe a 1/4 away from each other. Once we arrived, outside you're greeted by a nice waffle with wings mural, and inside a bustling establishment. With a hostess at the front and a cheeky "(Christopher) Walkers only" sign. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes uses to be seated and then sat in the bar area if the restaurant. We ordered the following: Cajun chicken & waffle Baja Omelet w/eggs whites and side of fruit The dishes were huge; especially the Cajun chicken & waffles. But best, the food was delicious, and worth the stop in. Overall: Great food, great staff, popular spot. Would definitely come back if in the area ever again, and needed a bite to eat.

We reviewed what others had recommended prior to ordering and decided on the Texas Style Chicken and Waffles along with the Combo Burrito (with bacon and Polish sausage). Both were a winner! And to drink we enjoyed a Lavender Iced Latte and a French Vanilla Iced Latte...both also spot on! The reason I deducted a star and only gave 4 stars instead of 5 and this is a BIG pet peeve of mine that I'm noticing more restaurants doing is setting their mobile credit card machines to include tax on tips! The tip % should ALWAYS be on the subtotal however in these restaurants' desire to make life more "convenient" with the pre-set Tip options (e.g 18%, 20%, 22%), they are knowingly setting their machines to include the tax in hopes that most people likely won't catch it. I'm usually good at calculating it myself but in my haste today, simply hit the default 20% button and only realized when I got home and doubled checked the bill. Also, I don't feel they should charge more for a non-dairy milk alternative as a lot of folks have milk allergies like myself...even most of the other coffee houses don't charge for milk alternatives anymore. At an already pricey $8.49 and $7.49 for these two lattes, it's unnecessary to gouge another $0.75 for Oatmilk. Hopefully the owner sees this and will consider adjusting both.

Not just the key to good Yelp reviews but the key to good word-of-mouth and the key to return business. But yeah, the food is great, too. It's not such great Thai food that it blows away other Thai restaurants but it keeps up with them. And tell me about the other Thai restaurants where you can order Cheesey hominy grits with Shrimp along side your Pad See Ew. My wife liked because everything comes very mild and you get a caddy of things that will spice/heat it up. I'm not a fan of that approach because I just want to dig into something with some kick and balance without playing, "Hey, I'm the Nutty Professor... let's try some of a little of this and I wonder what that tastes like" Note to people concerned about parking. I hate that whole scene... get the ticket, display the ticket, find the kiosk to pay for the ticket because you forgot to get the ticket stamped, download the f?@king app and type in your parking spot number, then find that you are in underground parking like a F%4king rat in a F%4king maze... NONE of that going on here. (But we showed up at an off time)... It was super simple, super easy... get your ticket, get it validated, leave. We parked about 30 feet from the front door and it was ALL good. Final thought. This place feels kind of "classy"... again, it's the people that work there but also the presentation, taking your order at the table, super clean, tasteful layout. We didn't dine in but came to order for take out. From the menu, it's a mix of soul and Thai fusion. Dylan took care of us which he was a sweetheart. I love thai so trying new places is a little hit or miss as I have my favorite spots that never disappoints. Well, let's give it a shot. It's wasn't busy when we arrived, a group inside was dining when we walked in. An order of the summer roll, which we added shrimp as it comes with tofu only. There were loads of veggies which was fine but they could have added a little more of the shrimp. The sauce that accompanied it was great. I love noodle soup so to see that they had some was nice. Would love to have boat noddle but they didn't offer it. Instead I went with the tom yum noodle soup. I hate to say, it wasn't my favorite. The broth was way too sweet for my liking. I alway ask for medium as I like to spice it up myself but when we received the order, there were no extra sauces or condiments in our take out order. Only sauce was the dipping for the summer rolls. That was a bummer. Then there was the drunken noodles. Flat rice noodles with a mixture of greens in a brown sauce with Thai chili. And lastly the panang curry with chicken. Also, spice level for medium and spicy was off. They were pretty much similar, not spicy. The food was so so and that was coming from three of us. I don't know if the soul and Thai fusion was a factor but it was just ok. The reviews sounded good which gave us high hopes about this place, but I have to say that we were a little underwhelmed with the dishes. The flavors for us just wasn't there. Maybe we'll give it another shot but from this first experience, it's leaning toward a different direction.

We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. Would definitely come back for the apps and drinks! They also have brunch which looks like fun.

When we got there, there was a DJ playing 80s/90s throwbacks. It was good music and vibes, but it was quite loud, we could barely hear ourselves speak. Luckily he wasn't there too long, as brunch-time was over. We ordered Mango margaritas, chips & salsa, birria tacos, tinga taquitos, elote, and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Every single thing was delicious. I was highly impressed. This place will definitely be in the rotation. If I didn't live so far away, I would go for happy hour.

The name is definitely fitting--it really does feel like a little "hideout" tucked away in the business park! Thank you, ChatGPT, for the recommendation! Otherwise, I might have missed this little gem. A helpful tip if it's your first visit: look for the flags along the street--they'll help you know where to turn and park. Once you find it, you'll be glad you did! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The cashier was incredibly patient with all of our questions and happily offered recommendations. We also had the chance to chat with the owner, who was so sweet and welcoming. We had such a great conversation with him, and you can tell there's a lot of care behind this place. I ordered the Turkey Cobb Salad, and it did not disappoint! The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and they were very generous with the avocado, bacon, cheese, egg, and turkey. The dressing was delicious and brought everything together perfectly. We sat outside in the shaded seating area, which was perfect for catching up over lunch. It was comfortable, peaceful, and made for a really nice afternoon. They also offer catering, which I'll definitely be recommending to my workplace the next time we need food for an event or meeting. Great food, wonderful people, and excellent service. Definitely a hidden gem worth finding! I'll absolutely be stopping by again when I get the chance.

It definitely does feel like a little hideout here and there's plenty of shaded outside sitting. The order at the cashier was quick and easy and they were friendly as well. The food was okay. Portion size is great and looks better than what I got. I got the egg white wrap and the ingredients did feel well prepared together. It did seem to lack flavor even with the added salsa on the side. The prices were a little bit more than what you expect for this but I guess it does make sense for the larger portion size. You can basically split one of these wraps or take the other half to go as it is loaded. Overall, I had a good experience here and if you want a fast casual restaurant for breakfast or lunch, this is not a bad spot!

I was surprised to see the open kitchen located near the entry but perhaps the message is "we're confident in what we do." The vibe reminded me of a European cafe and is warm and inviting. Nikko led us to our dining table where a handwritten note awaited us, celebrating our special occasion. That was a surprise and a nice touch! Our server, Paris, was pleasant and managed to keep everything moving. We ordered squash blossoms, baby gem Caesar salad, miso cod with forbidden rice, and NY strip with fries. Everything was delicious and satisfying. I'm not big on desserts, but the off-menu cherry crostata with ice cream was sublime. I could have licked the plate clean There was a steady flow of patrons throughout the evening and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. I definitely plan to return.

Appetizers (plural), a main course, and even a dessert were all excellently prepared and served, from start to finish. I live in Beijing, so things like tax, tipping, foreign wars, and a 3% charge for a credit card are unfamiliar to me, but worth it for this experience. Great dinner, delightful company, and an overall excellent time!
