We just stopped by here on a whim and we will be coming back to try everything. The owner was there today, apparently they've just re-opened after a fire shut them down. He was incredibly kind and so was the staff. The ambiance was happy and clean. The food was incredible, more items have been added to the original menu- cant wait to give a lot of them a try. The owner even had a crepe made for us as a thank you for supporting them and it was so good. Holy moly.

We really liked this restaurant. We got seated pretty fast and they were pretty friendly. We got the florentine eggs Benedict and eggwhich. They were both delicious!!

Brunching in Calabasas with some work colleagues! The place is packed at peak times. They allow you to order at the cashier or the QR Code and you prepay. Ordered the following: California Omelette Crunchy French Toast Overall, this place serves up brunch and vegan options. The water had mint and lemons in it. I enjoyed my diced potatoes :)

This morning I ordered from Blu Jam Cafe, 2x Sunrise Stacks & 2x Churro French Toast . The service was prompt and the food was appetizing and warm. I did not observed the ambiance because it was a delivery.

Cute busy little spot. No cash place which Please keep that in mind... You order on the phone after scanning the QR code on the tables but the staff is still busy running around and on top of their service always checking up on you a little not traditional. The food was OK I think i will be back to try some other popular dishes I personally ordered out of my normal but they had so many options and everything I seen looked delicious my daughter said her food was AMAZING and mine was tasty too I just will try something else next time. I did have a nice matcha chai and it was amazing

Always an amazing experience at blu jam. Cute little cafe in the corner of a popular plaza. It can definitely get busy at times so be prepared on a Sunday morning. I always recommend getting the chilaquiles and crunchy french toast with the volcanic coffee or a fresh juice. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu though.

The vegan tostada is cravable. I crave it so bad that anytime I am now in the area - I look at the clock and see if it's time to eat yet. The first time I had it I was going to take a picture after I tried it... but then it was gone. It's too bad for any vegan tostada I have from now one because the bar has been set very high because of the Blu Jam cafe. The size of it works out pretty good too. It a big plate and I am a big boy - but It's not too much. I hope you have the exact same pallet as me so that you can enjoy this dish as much as I do. (For reference I enjoy cheese and eggs and bacon but do not eat anything from the ocean. I also do not really enjoy eating most vegan foods I have tried) It will be years before I try something else on their menu and that's cool because I've already lived a full life. Trust me. Thank you

All hail the brunch burger, the only burger I've had in recent memory to NOT disintegrate after one or two bites. Blu Jam Cafe is a nice, quiet, go-to cafe spot for anyone getting their brunch fix. My party was immediately seated upon entering and scanned QR codes on the table, where we ended up ordering our food. I have my own take on QR code only establishments, but they have a gigantic menu on the chalkboard up front, so this gets a pass. I ordered the Orange Creamsicle Whip Creamsicle, Brunch Burger, and shared the Crunchy French Toast with my party. I finished my Creamsicle before I even got my burger. Not sure if I was just really thirsty or I enjoyed it that much. I'm assuming it's a bit of both. It was a monthly special and it's a drink I'd recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth. A mixture of vanilla and orange with a lot of cream. The Brunch Burger was like any burger I've had except for the fact that it held its structure through the entire meal. Now I don't know about you, but that is incredibly unheard of. I was able to eat all the different layers together in its entirety. Awesome job with the way it was put together. The side of cubed potatoes were decent. French Toast was a home run. Sweet, crunchy, and nicely cut to make it easier to share. The liquid frosting is served on the side so you can either dip the Toast or just cover the entire plate. Options!!!!! We had to flag staff a few times for extra water and for the status of our French Toast (they forgot to bring it to us and it was just sitting out) as they didn't really check up on us aside from bringing the food over. Otherwise, the food is great and I'd recommend it to those looking for a brunch spot.

Spacious restaurant and great parking. Servers brought us to our table and instructed us either to order through the QR code or the cashier. Partner and I ordered the Beef Goulash and the Italian Carbonara. Partner wanted something hearty and since it is this month's special, he had to try it. I've eaten here several times ordering the Italian Carbonara so it has been bit consistent with two poached eggs on a gooey, cheese pasta carbonara. Unfortunately, partner and I were a bit unimpressed about the food. Partner says it IS hearty, but the pasta was a bit over cooked and seasoning was very minimal. As for mine, the color, pesto sauce, and the amount of veggies were great, but I was saddened by the poached egg. The best part is when the runny egg covers the dish. I'll visit next time again and hope for runny, poached eggs. Maybe it was a busy day.

($18 - Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka, cold-pressed pineapple juice, fresh raspberry purée, lime juice fresh mint topper). I'm not a big drinker and am a fan of drinks that you can't really taste the alcohol and this was great. It was a fun to drink and was refreshing. For our entree my friend had the Fish & Chips. ($27 - Crispy haddock fillet, sea salt fries, tartar sauce, grilled lemon). I tried a piece of her fish and it was thinly battered, soft, and flavorful. I usually try to stay away from fried fish like this just because places use way too much better or the fish gets super oily but they was not the case with their fish & chips. You can tell they use quality ingredients. I had the 4 piece Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. ($34 - Fresh ahi, dynamite sauce, wasabi tobiko, togarashi, toasted sesame). Oh my goodness was this delicious. This is usually something you'd eat as an appetizer but eating it alone is a meal in itself. Yes, it's pricey BUT it is totally worth it. Saint & Second is an upscale dining experience. Their food delivers to that level as well. I highly recommend if you're looking for a new date night spot or something intimate with friends. You can really taste the freshness of all the ingredients they use.

However, in my two most recent visits, only the atmosphere has remained a highlight -- the service has declined significantly. My most recent visit was two nights ago, on Father's Day, for a celebratory dinner. Our server was curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal. When my glass of wine arrived, the server suggested I taste it first -- which I did -- and it was immediately apparent that the wine had turned. Having ordered the same wine many times before without issue, I was confident this particular bottle was off. When I asked our server if the bartender could open a fresh bottle, she agreed without hesitation. However, moments later, a gentleman I assumed to be the manager approached and informed me that a new bottle would not be opened, as the current one had only been opened the day before and was, in his opinion, fine. His only alternative was to offer the same varietal at a higher price point. I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding open bottles, but in all my years of dining out, I have never encountered an establishment that refused to replace a glass of wine a guest found unacceptable -- especially when the server herself had encouraged me to taste it for that very reason. This experience left a lasting negative impression, and unfortunately I will neither return nor recommend this restaurant going forward.

I was searching for an elegant dinner spot on yelp and this place popped up. After seeing some pics of the food and the ambience, I quickly made the rezzy and my wife and I were on our way. As you come in, it's like you enter another world -- one of elegance and beauty. You can't help but notice perfect ambient lighting and modern vibes throughout the inside dine-in area and as you enter their huge gorgeous backyard patio, you just know that you're in the right place. The seating area there is massive, with very modern finishes and towards the rear of the patio you have the most beautiful water feature piece, that looks like a human-size vase, with water running down the vase and being met by fire at the base. Just one incredible architectural piece that creates that posh, contemporary ambiance. After taking in the breathtaking design of the spot, we finally sat down and ordered food. We tried the tuna tartare, squash blossoms appetizer and my wife got a seabass entree while I got their highly recommended vodka pasta. All of the food was absolutely incredible, from the freshness of tuna tartare, uniquely wonderful flavor profile of the squash blossoms , to the yummy vodka lumaconi pasta and the most mouth-watering seabass that I've ever tried in my life. I honestly never thought a fish could taste so good. The seabass was charred on the outside and just incredibly soft on the inside. As you barely touch the seabass with the fork, a piece of succulent seabass gets separated simply due to the natural gravity of the fork. The taste is perfect. It's like they somehow cooked it with large piece of butter on the inside. The incredible flavor profile and the consistency of each bite of this seabass, were simply unparalleled. And to add to all this awesomeness, the bed of risotto was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic as well. To finish off our meal, we decided to share their apple tart pastry and it too, was fresh, flavorful and that scoop of ice cream on top, made the pastry just perfect. This place hits a perfect trifecta, with its phenomenal modern design , incredible food and absolutely superb customer service. Our waiter Zach was extremely nice, helpful, attentive and he was just a perfect guide throughout tonight's culinary adventure. My wife and I are more than satisfied and can't wait to come to Casalena again!

So incredibly delicious, probably the standout from the whole meal honestly. I would come back and order that as my main meal. We also tried their bluefin tuna crudo which was good and the cuts of fish tasted fresh but it wasn't as OMG as the tartare. We also got the crispy Brussels sprouts which were made with grapes which I haven't seen before! I wasn't a big fan of it though. For my main, I got the umami salmon bowl. I recently visited Prose with two girlfriends and had a fantastic experience…read more From the moment we arrived, Niko made us feel welcome and took great care of our table. Paris, our server, was an absolute ray of sunshine. We decided to share a variety of dishes, which turned out to be the perfect way to experience the menu. I don't eat meat, but my fellow diners could not stop talking about the Braised Short Rib Rolled Lasagna. The Lemon Gnocchi was light and delicate, the beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, and the Crispy Squash Blossoms stuffed with ratatouille were absolutely delicious. The Cold Hamachi Aguachile was probably the most interesting dish of the night. It's almost like a fish snow cone, which sounds odd until you try it. My mom would call it "moreish" because every bite makes you want another. The Jumbo Prawns à la Plancha were also excellent. But the standout for me was the Eggplant Parmesan. It was completely over the top in the best possible way. If you told me to come back and order nothing but the eggplant and a martini, I'd happily call that dinner. What really stood out beyond the food was the pacing. Dishes arrived at just the right rhythm, the cocktails were excellent, and the playlist somehow added to the atmosphere without competing with the conversation. I took photos of everything, which should tell you how beautiful the food was, but the best part was simply having a genuinely fun evening with friends. Great food, great service, and a restaurant I'll absolutely be back to.

This is our new go-to weekly place!…read more On our first visit, we were greeted by Chef David. He checked us in and offered cocktails while we waited for our table. The layout is intentional and cozy. They have outside seating with heating. On busy nights, the noise level is high. It is hard to have a convo. I would recommend getting the outside seating for this because it is more intimate. Surprisingly, on our 2 visits, we got same server and she took care of us really well. Food is phenomenal! I am slightly disappointed with my cod as it didn't have the glazed sear I was hoping for. All of our orders on 2 visits were picture perfect and seasoned well. We will definitely be back and try a different dish. I am also glad that they have a seasonal menu.
