I took my late 3rd gen ram 1500 5.7 hemi to Hank's for an estimate on getting some exhaust work done, specifically deleting both resonators and the muffler in place for a flowmaster super 10. They were very friendly and helpful and actually listened to what I wanted to have done and gave me a good price and a 2-3 day timeframe . I came back to drop my truck off the next day and they confirmed with a different guy exactly what I wanted so there was no miscommunication. Before starting on it, they called me and said they didn't have a super 10 in stock and would be an additional 2-3 days to get in but had a performance muffler in stock so I decided to go with that instead and a chrome tip since they had to build a custom pipe from the y-pipe back. I picked it up on Wednesday (started work Tuesday I believe) and I am very pleased with how it sounds and looks and really turns this truck into what a v8 should sound like. I have been to Hanks three times now and every time they have gave me amazing service! I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and picked it up after work. Since I work in Cove they picked me up from work to get my vehicle so I wouldn't have to worry about finding a ride. They truly have awesome costumer service and will do anything to make sure a costumer is satisfied with their services being done. I will not be going anywhere else to get my vehicle worked on except there. They were recommended to me and that is why I ended up at Hanks to begin with. I took my 85 nissan pickup to get and alignment and quote to redo the exhaust. They quoted me $1,000 to alignment my truck. I told them let me think about it. I priced the parts they listed which only came out to $160. How does a job that cost $160 in parts cost $1,000 total? thats insane. my truck is super easy to repair. I took the truck to an aligjment shop in Temple that my mechanic recommended and they had no problem aligning my truck for $$65. I used to really like Hanks tire and muffler. people are always nice, they probably wont see any of my vehicles in the future. read more

Talked to Larry last Monday and discussed my lack of happiness about the work performed and was told to bring my truck back in. We had a verbal agreement to complete the remainder of expected work at no additional charge. I dropped my truck off Thursday morning only to receive a call Thursday afternoon informing me they don't do work for free and there will be an additional charge if I want the job done. Well I just picked up my truck and took it to meineke in Killeen. I was more than happy to pay someone else then give hanks anymore of my cash. read more

Professionals for sure. I had needed two tires to pass inspection, and they were ordered that day. Went to get them installed the next day, but were left off the transfer truck. Things happen. Went back a third day, and they got everything taken care of, including a discount for the trouble. Sure, I would've liked it done a day earlier, but you know what, it wasn't a big deal. Took my daughter's car there because Auto Zone told us it needed an alternator from the computer reading... I bought an alternator to take in to save some money. They called to let us know it was NOT the alternator but the battery and saved us quite a bit of money. All in all it was a good service. read more

After being treated badly at another Auto Repair shop in Killeen, that wouldn't honor their warranty on a Engine replaced. Hank Tire Pros & Muffler was recommended by Oliver Bro's Transmission in Coppers Cove. Upon entering the shop I found that a trusted friend which I have been doing business with for over 30 years was employed there. The first repair was on my Air Conditioning system on my 1997 S-10 which they did at a very fare price with a lifetime warranty. Three months later the compressor froze up and they replaced it quickly and honored the warranty. A month later I thought I had another Air Conditioner problem and returned to the shop. Hanks team isolated the problem (which wasn't the air conditioning system) and I was happy with the repair. Well I had to return again because something wasn't right after my repair, a problem with Audio system. Let me tell that this repair station went out of their way to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the repair and I wasn't charged a dime, since it happened accomplishing the last repair. I recommend this Shop for it's honestly and making sure that their customers are treated right. They did tell me on another older Cadillac that they won't attempt a repair since they didn't work on NothStar engines. At least they were honest and just take my money. read more

I took my vehicle to have it have it serviced at this business because my check engine light was on. The employee, Ben, replaced the part. The next day the check engine light was on again. I took the vehicle back up there. They told me it was a bad part they put on. I had to wait a week for a new part to be ordered. They replaced it again but the light came back on again. In all, I took my vehicle up there 4 to 5 times before the problem was resolved. I will not be taking my vehicle to this business for any service, not even state inspection. Based on my experience, I can conclude that they are unprofessional, rude, and they don't value their customers. read more
