That tells me that its a good place to work and that they screen employees well when hiring. . It seems drug stores have a terrific way of checking accuracy, so I never count my pills. Also I take my pills strictly as prescribed. One month I discovered a medicine running out half-way. I knew it would be hard for them to believe they made a mistake, but I had to call because the gov won't let me buy more than prescribed and without those meds I feel pretty useless. As expected, the manager found it hard to believe, but I stuck to my story, explaining that I never alter dosages etc. So he looked around furiously and came back a few minutes later with an apology. He was quite surprised to see a failure in the system... I think he muttered something about my meds being in 2 halves, and one had been overlooked. (Perhaps he verified by discovering excess meds in their inventory? I dunno!) . Anyway, its a friendly and professional staff, and I always feel that they listen well to my concerns. A top notch pharmacy IMO. I go there each month, so that's one mistake out of 120+ visits... probably much worse than their normal ratio, too.

I…read moreeven called the regular store phone and when they transferred me to the pharmacy, whoever was on the phones picked up, said nothing, and hung up - as if to avoid speaking to customers. I figured I'd just refill my prescription using the automated phone line. Did that and it said my prescription would be filled by 3:45 same day. Before leaving the house, I called again to make sure it was ready before making the trip there, as I live 30 minutes away, but again, hung up on. I got to the pharmacy at 4:30 and the attendant let me know, in a very short manner, "We don't have anything here for you." I let them know the automated system said it would be ready for pick up by 3:45, to which they responded "well we need an order from the doctor." Shame on the automated system for its error in ETA and shame on the employees at the pharmacy for not answering not one of my six calls. This trip could have been prevented and I could have reached out to my doctor before their offices closed had I known. I'm going out of state tomorrow morning before the pharmacy opens and now I'll have to wait a week to pick up. Someone's needs to be educated on how to do their job, especially when they're dealing with people's medications.

As I'm waiting for my medication the cvs employee coughed and didn't cover his mouth. He was not wearing PPE and gave me the medication as if this pandemic is a joke. I was extremely upset and told him he can be A symptomatic and could easily pass this on to me or anyone else. He started to laugh and joked that nothing will happen. I'm scared and paranoid at this moment. I should not have to deal with such carelessness from a Pharmacey employee. Usually people go there to pick medication because they're not feeling well. This man didn't care to keep customers safe. He clearly should not be working the window at CVS. Today I went there as the designated location for my second Covid booster shot. They took me right on time for my appointment. The general pharmacy staff was friendly. However, of special note, the pharmacist was super friendly and efficient. Although I was already familiar with the potential side effects (since this was my forth Covid related shot) the pharmacist took extra time to explain things and was extremely attentive despite the pharmacy being extremely busy. Overall I was very impressed with the interaction today and I highly recommend this pharmacy.

Ed Ullmann, the pharmacist, spoke to us as people -- he walked around the counter to be face to face, rather than stay behind the counter -- and was tremendously helpful. The Rx wasn't in the Phoenicia pharmacy, and I asked to pick it up in the Tannersville pharmacy; it was done seamlessly. Up in Tannersville I was helped by the pharmacist (Jennifer B, I believe), who was as helpful and kind as I needed. This is the way health care should work. Not a corporate profit point, but a place to get help from a human being who is caring and kind. I'm a believer, and I HIGHLY recommend Well ess Rx.
