The lady typically at the front counter was the only one present and offered to thread my brows. I requested a simple clean-up, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. She was much rougher than usual--while threading can be uncomfortable, this time it was noticeably more painful. Additionally, she removed too much hair, resulting in unevenness at the top and bottom of the brow, as shown in the attached photo. I gave three stars because I'm generally pleased with the results, but based on my last visit, I feel she should remain at the front desk and leave threading to the other staff.

Before I went to this spa, I went to look on it's website given by Yelp. I was so blown away by how expensive it was and how I had to pay for a loyalty program? It was very preposterous especially when you compared the price and the nail conditions. All I have to say is that when I visited with a new management, the prices went down and I'd say the quality of the nails have gotten better. I also see that some reviews are complaining that the original owner, Hannah isn't at the salon and that the new owners won't tell them where Hannah is. In common sense, why would Hannah tell the new owners where she's going? Hence that the website is not updated, I'm sure that Hannah didn't want the owners to use it. To get to my point, $20 for a regular pedicure and $25 for matte or gel, a very good price. The employees even offered me water and would have a nice conversation with me. Also, I heard that back then, Hannah Nail Spa didn't accept walk-ins and that they only accepted appointments. So please, just focus on how great the shop is now and not about it back then. read more

Last week Hannah Nail Spa got some bad reviews. What those reviewers didn't know was that the owner Kath and her sister Hannah unexpectedly lost their dad and they were grieving that loss. What was taken as not being focused and paying attention was pure sadness and loss. I was shocked at the lack of compassion and understanding. Sometimes we don't know what others are going through. I've been Hannah's customer since she opened her shop. The service is consistently superior. The shop is spotless and the tools are exceptionally clean. Hannah and her people always pleasant and friendly. When you make an appointment you seldom have to wait and then it's only for a couple of minutes. I usually get the Royal Pedicure ($95 with gel) or the Detox Pedicure ($115 with gel) whenever I'm in the mood for a longer, more relaxing massage. A regular gel manicure is $50, and nail art typically starts around $5 per nail, depending on the design. Chrome and cat-eye effects are an additional $25. A little tip for anyone with a similar situation: I had the ingrown nails on both of my big toes removed by a podiatrist, so my natural nails are much narrower now. My nail technicians simply use Gel-X or acrylic to widen and reshape my big toenails, and the results look so natural that you'd never know it isn't my real nail shape. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. The receptionists are always warm and welcoming when you arrive, and they'll check in throughout your appointment to see if you'd like any refreshments. They offer complimentary mocktails, coffee, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. Whenever I need a last-minute appointment, I just give them a quick call, and they're usually able to fit me in. The owners are also incredibly kind and generous.
