I have been a regular at Bombshell for two years and have been going there on and off for about four years. I go there at least once a month. Very clean, very accommodating, and amazing service. Their prices are very fair and the service is top notch. They have a really great variety of pedicures and for very reasonable prices. I tend to go back-and-forth between their deluxe spa pedicure, aromatherapy pedicure, and signature pedicure. Their signature pedicure is really awesome, I tend to do it for special occasions because you come up with how you want your treatment to be done, they let you look at a variety of essential oils and herbs and pick what you want, and they show you all of the benefits of those herbs and oils. It's really cool! They have really nice massage chairs in their pedicure area, and they're pretty new I was one of the first people to use them when they got them in and I think they've only had them maybe a year or so? I can sit there all day. Lol Super comfortable. They have so many varieties of nail polish! They have tons of examples in the front of the different colors and nail polish variations. Tiana and Ti are my go-tos is when I'm there! They are both so sweet and so fun to talk to! Tiana does my eyebrows and Ti does all of my pedicures! I highly recommend them!! I really wanted to like this nail place but I'm severely disappointed. I originally was quoted 125 to get acrylic toes and nails then the price kept jumping and changing. I ended up paying 135. My toes came out fantastic because the tech that did them was great. Unfortunately, because it was the end of the day the tech that worked on my toes wasn't able to do my nails so I got stuck with Nancy. Nancy was the one who did some of my prep and the prep wasn't all bad but the paint job is honestly so terrible and horrible. I'm so sad and I want to cry because she didn't seem to care about making the coats thin enough so they came out so clumpy and in some areas, there was less paint. I tried to say something but she seemed so bothered by the fact that I didn't like the paint job. My mom was the one who ended up paying. They made her pay $88 at first without telling her there was a fee for her card and then made her pay an additional $50. For $138 I'm severely disappointed. At least my toes turned out good.. I loved this nail salon and was a loyal customer for over a year. I got really close with a nail tech, who ended up leaving (boo) but continued to go up until recently. I got a dip manicure and a gel polish change on my toes (no pedicure). I made an appointment over the phone (right when they opened) with the new tech I had been seeing for a few months and when I showed up to my appointment (around 5pm) they told me she had a family emergency and wasn't there today (totally fine I absolutely understand life happens). I stood there for a bit until they asked if I wanted a new tech. I said yes because one of my nails broke and I desperately needed it fixed. I waited for 20+ min which was fine but I was a little frustrated they didn't call me before to ask if I wanted to reschedule or let me know that my preferred tech wasn't going to make it in today. Anyway, I started my appointment and I just got a simple dip manicure. Usually takes 45-60 min. It took 2 hours. Granted my nail tech was so sweet and definitely worked really hard on my nails, but it took so long and I was just super bummed. On top of that, my "polish change" took another hour. I was there for 3 hours. No designs, no crazy art, no additional services. When I went to checkout I was expecting my normal price of like $60-$65 for the dip manicure and polish change and it came out to $75 (a lot in this economy). I asked if there were any recent price increases because it's usually not that much and the owner said no it's because you got a gel change and I politely responded that I always got gel and I never got charged more that $15 for a gel polish change to which she said no it's always been $25. I just ended up paying it bc I just wanted to leave honestly. My nails are a little bumpy and aren't the same shape so I left feeling super frustrated. I honestly think I'm just going to start doing my nails at home because from the time commitment and inconsistent pricing, I just can't deal anymore. read more

I wish I could give five stars because I had high hopes. Making a reservation was so easy and I didn't have to wait a single minute to get in. It's in a decent location which makes it easy to stop by if you're running errands. It's a pretty big place compared to most nail salons and very inviting. My gel manicure was a little disappointing. She did the exact design I asked for which I was so grateful for but it didn't last more than two days and it wasn't very clean looking. The lines along my skin were bumpy. I was really happy with the colors and design though and the manicurist was kind. Prices were about the same as others in town. Update: I spoke with one of the female managers about my experience. She informed me that the specific nail technician had some issues going on at home and apologized for her behavior. She explained that she couldn't give me a refund, but asked me to come back for another service to make up for my bad experience. So I booked another pedicure after I got back from my race, and was super excited to give them another shot. While I do not expect much from anyone, I had expected that if the manager was inviting me back, that this would be a complimentary service. I was wrong. It was not. So at the end of the pedicure I thank my nail technician and hand him a cash tip and begin to walk out. And then he informs me that I still need to pay for the service. I guess it shouldn't be surprised. I will say that he is amazing, I believe his name is T. But, had I known this was not a complimentary service, I wouldn't have booked it. The nail is not covered all the way, the acrylic is bubbled up, the paint doesn't cover the nail all the way, the shape isn't correct, and the paint shape isn't correct. $70 for a full set french tip. I had a bombshell experience indeed. I rarely get a manicure and even less likely to get a pedicure. However, I have gotten two here in the last two months. The package I use is the bombshell pedicure, which includes a hot stone massage. I am on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day, and this soothes all the aches I have in my legs and feet. Acetone poured all over my legs!! Four years later I decided to give this place another chance. I thought for sure it would be better based on the star rating. When I made the appointment I was very specific about needing a good pedicure. The woman they scheduled me with was not a good representation of their business and someone I would suggest when I customer is concerned about the quality. She gave me the most painful pedicure and kept filing my skin with the buffer and drill. At the end she poured acetone on my legs then started putting lotion on. I thought the bottle must be mislabeled until I smelled it. So I asked what she poured on my legs...she finally said "alcohol" after me asking multiple times. When I asked why, she said she grabbed the wrong bottle. Then said "I will clean it!" And she rinsed my legs then put the lotion on. If I wouldn't have said anything, she wasn't going to rinse it off. I'm not sure what acetone poured all over your legs would do but I'm sure it would defeat the purpose of the lotion smh!!! Another thing I noticed is the salon is not very clean. Surfaces with residue and the blocks she put my feet on were gross. They use liners which is the only reason I didn't stop her after seeing the blocks! read more

Praise the lord, thank you jeeeeeesus for Andy! I have found my go to for Gel Manicures in the Henderson area! I've only met two other people that truly know how do a manicure right and ANDY is now the third person I've met and can add to that list. His technique in shaping the nail then being extra careful in cleaning around the cuticles, OMG he's soooooo good! His nail color application is also very good with NO air BUBBLES in between each drying of the nails under the UV light. Seriously one the best nail techs I've ever met! AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A NAIL EMERGENCY- they have poor customer service and i left without having my nails done . i made an appointment for early in the morning - i got there and there were no nail techs in sight . front desk girl seemed annoyed to have to do her job - ( she had to call the nail techs and ask when they would be in ... ) she made me feel like a burden ... for wanting to get a service they provide and PAY for it . when i used to go there frequently , the lady at the front desk was tall , i believe her name was Maria , she was always very nice and personable ... the girl previously mentioned should really take some notes ... if i didn't have a nail emergency , i would've left when she started ROLLING and FLUTTERING her eyes in irritation and SMACKING her gum in my face . she was completely obnoxious and didn't care to make me feel welcome or wanted there . then i was told no one would be able to help me until an hour after my appointment time . i left completely let down and quite frankly , pissed off . THANKFULLY , i found a place that took me in with NO appointment , they had INCREDIBLE customer service , a lot of nail techs PRESENT and READY TO WORK ... and my nail tech ended up being the sweetest person who's ever done my nails . not to mention my nails came out BEAUTIFUL ! my new nail tech really understood my vision and delivered to the MAX . please skip to the end of this review if you'd like to read more abt a nail salon that actually CARES about its customers . as far as " bomb - smell " , here's what i have to say about the service and quality when i USED to come here frequently . with the exception of ALEXIS - all the nail techs are average . ALEXIS was always good with designs and always made you feel comfortable at her station . if you had previously booked with her , the next time you came in she would ask about stuff you'd previously talked about . she would engage in conversation with you and make you feel like a friend . one time i couldn't book with alexis , so i booked with MONROE ... it was a HORRIBLE experience . MONROE did a TERRIBLE job ... and she's the reason i stopped booking at this salon . from uneven nail shapes , a really CRAPPY job on the design , UNPAINTED nail edges ... to COMPLAINING and using me as a GUINEA PIG for the " technique " of the design - she was just AWFUL . she was complaining abt the design prior to doing it and STILL complaining WHILE doing it ... ( she was applying the colors different ways on every nail like she was doing a science experiment for school ... she had me questioning if that was her first day , and i her first customer ) - if you're NOT skilled , just say that and i will pick a different design . not to mention she made me feel like i was asking the world of her ... she clearly didn't want to provide me with the service ... i say that because she was HUFFING and PUFFING in FRUSTRATION ( or annoyance ) the entire time and didn't engage in ANY kind of conversation at all . after seeing the results , i was UNIMPRESSED and EMBARRASSED to have to walk around with such UGLY nails . i left thinking i could just look past it and just tough it out - not to mention , she took so long on a design that was NOT complicated ... i had come straight from work and i just wanted to get the hell out of there and go home . once i got home , the longer i stared at Monroe's " work " , the UGLIER they got - i had to call the salon and ask if someone could fix them because they were ATROCIOUS and it felt like a WASTE of money . thankfully i was able to go back and have them fixed by the owner but this place is NOT close to my house , so it was a very tedious process driving to and from the salon my entire afternoon . now for a review of an actually GOOD salon - i would suggest LV Nails ! i went there after being let down by " bomb-smell " and they treated me very , VERY well ! the front desk girl greeted me with a big smile , they took me in with NO appointment , they were very kind and understanding , the establishment was very clean and bustling with activity . ALL the employees had smiles on their faces and made you feel WELCOME . best of all , my nails came out GORGEOUS ! my NEW nail tech was so , so SWEET and GENTLE . she was super attentive to detail and i was and still am so , SO PROUD and IN LOVE with my nails . i've gotten so many COMPLIMENTS on them , this experience has secured me as a customer of LV NAILS for years to come . The last time I got my nails done was before the pandemic started (December 2019), and I left that place with several bloody cuticles due to the nail artist slipping while preparing my nails for the polish (which stung on the wounds!). Before that, my experiences in other salons weren't much better. I was extremely skeptical to go to a nail salon again, instead opting for press-ons and other home manicures. I lasted as long as I could doing that before I had to find a new salon. I did some quick research and decided to take a chance and go one day after work after seeing the great reviews. Bombshell is definitely my new go-to!! Lina was my nail tech and she was so kind when helping me figure out what nails I wanted. She was gentle (no bloody cuticles!) and did the best shaped nail I've ever had. I've never had gel before, and I also recommend it. My fingers are kinda crooked and my nail beds are v small BUT she managed to make such a beautiful & natural shape to make my hands look nicer. And I work with kids, so I don't like to have nails that are too long or pointy. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality, and even then, Bombshell is on par with most salons you'll find in the city. Everyone there makes you feel welcome, and they're great about covid regulations (masks, spacing customers out, cleanliness, etc). I can't wait to go back when I need a touch up!
