I honestly was not sure what to expect when I arrived at Han's to complete an estimate for repairs. However, I was put at ease the moment I stepped into their office. At the front desk sat Jessica H. and Princess W. They immediately welcomed me to Han's and explained the the estimate/repairs process. They provided and reviewed all the necessary paperwork quickly and efficiently- I could tell they knew what they were doing! They were also extremely friendly and down-to-earth! I don't believe I've ever dealt with such personable staff at the front desk of an auto shop! I was very pleased. I soon met Paul H. who led me back out to my car to review the damages and complete the estimate. He too greeted me very kindly and we walked to my car. He was very informative of the damage my car/bumper sustained and explained in layman's terms what had happened to my car and what would need to be repaired (for which I was very appreciative!). We were soon joined by James Y. as well as the owner of the shop, Mike Han. Again both greeted me very kindly, shaking my hand. James walked me around my car to inspect and note any damages unrelated to the claim (e.g., scratches). He explained very clearly why he was completing this process and was able to answer any questions I had for him right away! Both Paul and James answered my questions clearly and in a friendly manner. Mr. Mike Han was also present during this exchange, which I took note of and appreciated. (I assume owners don't always have time to meet every client or customer, but he was there, answered questions, explained the claim process, and all with a smile on his face!) After the estimate they let me know that they would order the necessary parts for my car and give me a call as soon as they were in, which they did the very next day. I was also kept informed of the parts ordered and the repairs made, every step of the way. I received an email or phone call with updates each day my car was at the shop. I dropped my car off on Wednesday morning and was able to pick it up, fully repaired and serviced, by noon, Friday (which was super quick)! Again, James, Paul, and Mike were present upon my arrival and James explained again all the repairs that were made. My car looked completely brand new- not only did they repair my bumper, but they washed my car and also cleaned and vacuumed the interior! To be completely honest, the inside of my car was very dirty- the fact that they took the time to clean and vacuum my car, something they did not have to do, is what led me to write this review. (A week later they washed and waxed my car as a complimentary service!) I am a big believer of supporting and rewarding businesses who go above and beyond for their customers. This review is long overdue, but had to do it... I came across this body shop, because it's an authorized location for my insurance company. That means I could go straight in there and they would work out the details with the insurance company and get started on the work without having to wait for the adjuster. When I got there, the front desk guy and the main estimator guy were both very kind - something that was a pleasant surprise and reassuring. Alonzo was very professional and fast, and you'll get to enjoy working with him as you touch base throughout the process. I had to get an extension on the original timeline of my job since they ended up having to refurbish my rims (required to try that first by insurance company) before submitting for brand new OEM rims (AMG rims). The point here is that they have to work through their process, but they also took care of the rental extension, so that wasn't anything extra I had to worry about. They allowed me to come in and view progress a couple of times. Alonzo gives a personal touch, walks you through, and explains what's been done and what to expect next. When I finally picked it up, they made sure that I was satisfied, and if there were any issues, they worked through them with me before final pickup. And since they are partnered with Enterprise, I just left the rental there and left with my car. A few extra notes to mention are that the work is guaranteed for the life of the car. Another is that they offer a light wash after a week or two for the paint to fully cure and harden. The point here is that while the wash isn't something spectacular for those of us who really love a great detail, it gives them an opportunity to reinspect the work and address any remaining issues. For me, there was a tiny bit of overspray and it was fixed. Now, this part is the extra, extra awesome part... The original work was done around Nov. By the following Aug, I had a small scrape that happened in a parking garage. I called, brought it in, and it was all easily buffed out, except for a chip in the paint. To fully fix it, it would have been over $2K, but the paint chip was so small that it didn't make sense to do it. They actually took my car in again (took several hours) and filled it with some hardener, mixed it with the right paint color, and did it like a touch-up job. You can't see it, unless you know exactly where it is, which I can live with (even though I love my Mercedes) for not spending $2K. They did this at NO COST based on being a previous customer. First time reviewer here. Han's Auto Center holds a very high standard in regards to quality of work and customer service. This is apparent in all the details of how they work and how I, as a customer, felt during the whole process. I brought in my car for an estimate (front right portion near bumper of the car was damaged) and was greeted by Princess at the front desk. James and Alonzo walked me through their observations of the car, didn't skip any details, and were very helpful in answering all the questions I had. After a thorough walkthrough, I went back home and found an email from Han's waiting for me entailing pictures of the car during the walkthrough and the estimate form. The party that hit my car had changed their mind and decided to go through insurance so I contacted Han's with a claim number and that was the last time I had to talk to the insurance agent. Princess and Jessica worked with the insurance agent from that point on and also set up my reservation with a rental. When I went to drop off the car Han's drove me to the nearby Enterprise for me to pick up my rental. During the 2-3 days I was waiting for my car, I received updates through email about what point of the process my car was in and pictures of the car/parts in repair. I was also pleasantly surprised to know that I was able to leave my rental at the shop as they would return it for me. When I returned to pick up my car, they gave me a walkthrough of the repairs and the car. Up to this point I was extremely satisfied with the customer service but the whole experience was solidified at the end when I saw the end result. The repairs looked great They cleaned the exterior/interior (even the floor liners) and buffed out some scuffs and handed me a complementary scratch paint kit. They also told me to bring the car in after a week for a complementary waxing/cleaning. All of the staff (Princess, Jessica, James, Paul, Alonzo, and everyone else) at Han's Auto Body were very pleasant and great to work with and at the end of my experience I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger. This place really goes the extra mile in every aspect of their business. I have been doing business with Hans Auto Body for many years.They have been my repair shop of choice through 2 of my previous vehicles. I have referred many of my friends to them for auto as well as mechanical repairs and they have been very satisfied also. There are many auto repair shops in the area but I never venture elsewhere because Hans Auto has always done a good job for me. Just recently I wanted to have a "backup sensor system" installed on my new 2010 Toyota Camry. I went to several Dealerships and Shops to gather estimates because I had no idea the cost of the installation. I received a wide spectrum of prices that varied as much as $150 for the same installation. I returned to Hans Auto Repair for their estimate without disclosing to them that I had several quotes from the other shops. Believe me! Their quote was far less than any that I had received. I dropped my car off at the shop the next morning, they took me home, kept me updated on the progress, completed the job in the stated time and picked me up after completion of the work. The End Result ....installation was "Superb", the car was immaculate and ready to go and they demonstrated the new backup system before I left the shop. I was totally impressed and very very satisfied with their installation. As in the past and if needed in the future, I will definitely continue to patronize Hans Auto Body because they do excellent work, they stand behind their word, they are highly professional. I have never experienced any "unforeseen surprises or disappointment" at conclusion of their work. This is my first review that I have ever done for any business or company and I am 62 years old. I have never even Imagined writing one but after this last experience, it had to be shared with others. I want Consumers to know that there is a reputable auto repair shop that exist in the area where one can receive good craftmanship and not be "ripped off" as is so often prevalent in the auto repair industry. Highly recommend Han's Auto Center. Staff is extremely friendly and they make the entire process of having your car repaired effortless and provide peace of mind that your car is in great hands. When I went to get an estimate they were very thorough inspecting the damage and explaining everything that they would need to do in order to fix it. I received a fair and honest estimate, and within an hour of leaving Han's they emailed me a formal estimate which showed the breakdown of costs (parts, paint, labor, etc.) I had the privilege of having Paul oversee my vehicle repairs. He was extremely thorough and went into great detail explaining the repair process and everything that he was going to do. Paul was conducting a final inspection after the repairs had been made and noticed a very small blemish that had developed on the bumper from popping it back in to place. He immediately called me to say they were going to remove the bumper and completely repaint it, and emailed me pictures of the minor imperfection. This attention to detail and integrity demonstrates the high level of care that Han's Auto Center puts into each repair they perform. Once the repairs were finished, Paul detailed my car inside and out. Upon picking up my car, it looks like new. Throughout the entire repair process I received photos and status updates on my car from Denise and Jessica. They also helped to arrange my rental car to make the process seamless. I mostly write reviews when I am irritated with a service and need to vent, but wanted to make an exception for Han's Auto Center. I was hit on the side last year and the other person's insurance company sent me to Han's Auto. I didn't do much research at the time, but was very pleasantly surprised at the great service and communication (they set up my rental, got me in same day for an estimate and for the repair work, sent me pictures every day on how things were going, and had my car looking better than it was before the accident). I thought the whole thing would be super inconvenient for me, but I was really impressed of how smoothly it went down. So, when I got rear ended this year (yes, I know, my poor car) and the other person asked to handle it outside of the insurance company, I went straight for Han's Auto. Turns out their rates were very competitive as well (the other person checked lol). We ended up going through his insurance anyway, because the repair was more than his deductible, but Han's Auto made the process seamless for me because they work with all insurance companies and all I had to do was just bring my car in for the repair. So in summary: - competitive prices - great work (after two accidents, my 6 year old car looks like new) - great service and communication (constant updates, minimum effort on my end) - work with all insurance companies Hope this helps someone out there. read more

My car was involved in a hit and run and my insurance company referred me to Han's. I love my car and i usually stick to one shop that always does my body work however the shop owner left and the new management was no good, so i went with Han's. At first what got me to say yes to them was the yelp and google reviews and also the fact that they are open from 8am to 6pm and i work 9am to 5pm so the hours of operation are perfect. Mike Han went the extra mile to make sure i was satisfied and i highly appreciate that and they definitely won me as a customer. First off my bumper had way to many rock chips so simply blending the paint would make my front stand out to much, Mr Han went above and beyond to talk to my insurance company and his employees and got my whole bumper repaired and painted with no cost increase! Secondly the inspection photos they provide before the repairs are amazing its the first body shop i went to that took the time to make me feel safe and comfortable with the whole process with photos and emails. Lastly they gave me a nice car wash and a detail to finish of the freshly painted bumper. Hans Auto made sure i was happy and took care of any little things that needed to be taken care of after picking up the car without any excuses. I have been bringing my cars to Han's Auto Center since 2006 for mechanical / maintenance work as well as the occasional unfortunate need for body work. Following a recent hit and run I told the insurance adjuster that I would be bringing the car to Han's. They immediately acknowledged Han's reputation for high quality work which was a pleasant confirmation of what I already knew. The repair work was done quickly, with frequent progress updates, with high quality and with no hassles. Removing that tar under the running boards which was unrelated to the accident was done at no charge, just because it was calling to be done. The excellent personal care is especially meaningful for me. I love the detailed explanations of how it works, what is broken and options for repair. Mike Han is My Mechanic and I count on him for car advice of all kinds. The entire staff is friendly and professional. They clearly are working with a customer satisfaction ethic that comes from the top. On one occasion I dropped by to get the code reset on my air conditioner. One of the mechanics came out and did the magic with the code. When I offered to pay for the service the mechanic explained that he been given standing orders to just do what ever needed to be done to keep Dr. S happy. They have earned my loyalty and I highly recommend Han's Auto Center if you appreciate being cared for. read more

Han's gave me the best experience at an auto body shop. The receptionists gave me a bright greeting every time I stepped in the door (they even remembered my name!) I felt very welcomed at the shop and was always attended to immediately. The staff member who inspected my car was also friendly as well. He told me everything he believed needed repair on the spot and every process after that. I even got pictures of my repairs in process. Another older gentleman (I believe is the owner) was also there to make sure nothing was missed. He made sure I got all the information I needed without me even asking. He and the staff member were very kind in explaining all the little details in getting my repairs done. I actually felt like I knew what was happening to my car despite not being knowledgeable in that field. The entire process was very smooth even when I was getting a rental car. I was surprised to find that they got in contact with the rental company the moment the insurance went through and even got me a rental waiting for me at the shop. I didn't even have to return it at the rental store because they did it for me. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and I would go there again if the occasion arises. I had a really great experience at Han's in August 2015. I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to writing about it. My car was involved in a hit and run in a parking lot and my insurance company sent me to Han's. I had been living out of the country for 11 years and wasn't really up to speed on what I needed to do, and who would handle what, etc. and I felt totally lost and confused. Han's was extremely helpful and I felt that I was in good hands immediately. The insurance company had me investigating the accident and told me to call the business establishment where I was parked to try and get video footage, but they weren't calling me back and I was nervous. Mr. Han told me that this was not necessary and all I had to do was file a police report, than give that report information to my insurance company. It worked just as he said and it was such a relief. Han's took excellent care of me and my vehicle and I would not hesitate to use them again. The staff is very friendly and highly competent. They kept in constant touch with me through emails and phone calls, their price was fair, and the service was beyond my expectations (they even had me come in for a 2 week follow-up to see how everything was going and give the vehicle a final review). Someone scratched my car in the parking lot 2 weeks ago, and didn't leave a note or anything. It was really frustrating to have a hit-and-run with this virus situation going on right now, but Han's Auto helped me with their great service which kind warmed me up in this difficult time. This is the second time I have worked with Han's, James and Dennis were the same person who helped me last time. First of all, the most important thing was their great work. My car looked like a completely new car when I picked it up. And they did extra to help fix some small dents. Secondly, the best thing to me was that they really did everything for you, what I did was simply giving them the car and picking it up later. They did all the talk with insurance company for me. And finally, they think for their customers and care for them. They offered me the service to pick up my car at my apartment and drive it back to me after the repair at no extra cost so I could just stay at home. I didn't use this service but I really appreciated that! When I checked out, they wiped my credit card to disinfect it. I was really surprised and happy by all these thoughtful little things! My wife got her car fixed here so I took mine when it got hit. This business is not just an example of how auto body repair shops should operate. They are an example of how any business should approach customer service. I was amazed by their professionalism and attention to detail. The people here knew more about insurance than my auto insurance guy! When I spoke to the insurance company directly, they said that Han's was a preferred provider because they too saw the quality work and fair prices that they offer. That made dealing with the insurance company easier (the agent was no help). I only have one bit of advice that I would offer the great folks at Han's. My car is a Mercedes and I take pride to have it stay looking nice. When the passenger side got hit the people at Han's did such a thorough examination that they pointed out other little scratches and dings on other parts of the car. Now the passenger side is perfect and I see the dings in other places. I recommend that they offer the customer the option to have other repairs done while in to fix an accident. Han's Auto Center in Gaithersburg MD is as good as it gets for quality body work at a reasonable price. Body work is something you don't think about until you get into an accident--and then you are faced with some immediate decisions concerning some HUGE repair bills . Even minor damage can be very costly. I have had three accidents since 1986, and Han's has come in consistently with the most comprehensive (i.e., safety-minded necessary work) and honest low quote among all the places I canvassed (as told to do by my insurance adjuster). No unnecessary work is suggested, and they throw in extras (e.g., fix minor damage in the other quarter panel for free ..."just because it was the right thing to do." Mr. Han and his son Paul head a very friendly and helpful staff (e.g., they came to my home one morning to drive me to get a rental) with Denise as their admin wiz (ask the Hans or James for car-buying advice! Well worth heeding). The quality of work, timely updates of work in progress, and very informative staff are just the beginning of the list of reasons I would give for coming to Han's. Best auto body shop bar none. I recently had work done on my Toyota Sienna. We had some bad luck driving over a pile of snow that had turned ice causing damage to the front and rear bumpers. Immediately after the damage occurred I took the car to Toyota, but because of the terrible customer service I googled best auto body shop and Hans Auto Center popped up. Called in knowing they were closing for the weekend. Paul told me no worries to come on by. As soon as I got there nothing but professional hospitality and customer service. They literally made me feel so assured that this problem is nothing to worry about. They walked me through the process from start to finish. Even provided options that I never thought to think of. All in all the car was repaired perfectly. Paul sent daily progress reports and made me feel assured that everything was going well. Moreover, I couldn't make it out to the auto center to pick up the car. Paul offered to deliver the car. Speechless. Best professional auto body center. Han's Auto is the best body shop I ever went. My 2016 Nissan Rogue was hit and damaged by another vehicle. The other party's insurance company Allstate is mean to me, only offered $1300 to repair two doors, which is definitely not enough. My friend recommended Han's body shop to help me. They gave a very professional estimation of the damage and negotiated with the insurance company for the extra cost. I did not have to contact Allstate again, which is really worry free for me. I don't like Allstate and they don't like me. Han's Auto took care of everything for me. The staff, Paul and Denise are very polite and professional. They followed up the case and updated almost everyday. Finally Allstate have to cove all the cost which is more than double the amount they offered at first. The mechanics did a great job for recovering my car. Actually even better than before the accident, because they also furnished other small damages along the way. I was speechless when they return me the car. I felt like they really treat the customers like their family or friend. This was a complex insurance case as it was a hit and run by a flatbed truck which scraped the front of my RAV4 on a beltway merger ramp. I brought my wife's car in to have her bumper replaced after an unfortunate backing out of the driveway incident. The repair itself was fantastic - the bumper looks as good as new and the paint job is flawless. What stood out about Hans were the little things. They were in constant communication with me about the repair. When they sent me the estimate, they included over 40 digital photos showing me the exact pieces needing repairs. They called me every day to update me on the status of the car. They knew I needed it back ASAP and they managed to finish the job one day earlier than promised. They also worked with me to make sure I wasn't paying for anything I didn't need. They actually called me to tell me there was one part that wasn't damaged and could be salvaged, saving me $100. They could have easily neglected to tell me that and pocketed the money and i never would have known the difference. This shows me that they are honest and they take their of their customers. I have to say my experience with Hans auto service was way past 5 stars. I was in an accident last month and my car was banged up pretty good. I had been directed to them thru insurance claims. From the girl at the front desk to Hans and his assistant made my already upsetting circumstance anxiety free. The lady at the front desk was very polite at my first visit, New my name and had all my paperwork all read, when dropping off my car. Hans and his assistant greeted me and looked over my car making sure they had all of the damage assessed. Informing me of the future plans and the duration of the work. They had a rental all set up to be delivered at their location so I wouldn't have to go to one. They kept me informed of the work thru the whole process, when I got my car back( which was a little longer then was expected, which was no fault of their own) it was perfect. Washed and detailed with a lifetime of washes. And they even got the rental picked up. Will NOT be going to anyone else for future work. When I was involved in an auto accident, I got connected to Han's Auto Center and I'm very thankful that I did. Though the car was totaled and they didn't actually do any repair work, the entire experience before the appraiser settled on the total loss decision was as pleasant as could be after a car accident. Han's Auto Center is an extremely professional and well-run business. Each employee treated me with the utmost respect and made sure I had all my questions/concerns answered. They went above and beyond what a normal body shop would do - from digging through my car/photos of the accident looking for a pair of missing sunglasses to helping me get EVERYTHING out of my car when it was declared total loss. And I mean EVERYTHING - James was crawling all over the minivan making sure I got all my stuff out (including the sunglasses!) I never felt like they were taking advantage of me which is a pretty unique feeling when dealing with auto repair/maintenance shops.
