The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

She was not kind, she wasn't very helpful. I asked for a foundation and she recommended me a couple and I picked the $70 Sulhwasoo bc it felt really silky on my hand. I ended up using some on my face and liked it. I come home to find the oil on top and color clumped on the bottom. That's fine, you just shake it right? The expiration date is of Dec 2025. I have 6 months to use this whole bottle. I used my last foundation for over a year. There is no way a foundation shelf life is only 6 months, that thing has been sitting on that shelf for years. Also, I bought Anessa sunscreen for less than $20 bucks, they sell it for $39. This place can't get rid of their make up bc of their prices and customer service so if you do end up shopping here, you'll end up with overpriced, almost expired makeup. O and they make it clear there are no refunds or exchanges. I have never encountered a beauty store that doesn't do exchanges. How will you ever try new make up at this store? What if you break out or get almost expired make up? Such a waste of money.... Don't bother going here, there's other make up stores in the mall, try them out or buy online from a reputable store

The worker approached me and, while scanning me from head to toe, asked if we needed help, in a tone that seemed judgmental and unwelcoming. I replied, 'Yes, are we not allowed to browse?' I found her attitude unnecessary and off-putting. F you staff, just because we are not Korean and I have tattoos and dress different, doesn't mean you can treat me like that. Completely wasted money on a procedure/filler with ZERO difference. I felt like they upsold me just to make more money and not what was best procedure for me. My body responds well to it, and until recently, I trusted the providers there--especially Lori--without hesitation. A few months ago, they suggested I try a newer product called Letybo, which was described as being mixed with saline and supposedly more effective. Because I had built trust with them over the years, I agreed to give it a chance. Within a few weeks, it became clear that Letybo was not as strong for me and did not give me the results I've always had with Dysport. I expressed my concerns at that time, but they seemed brushed off. When I scheduled my most recent appointment about three weeks ago, I was very clear with Savannah on the phone that I only wanted Dysport, as it has consistently worked best for me. She said she would note this in my chart. On the day of the appointment, Savannah took my before photos, and I again asked her to confirm that I was receiving Dysport. She told me yes and said she would confirm with Lori. Lori then came in and performed the treatment. I left believing I had received Dysport. Three weeks later, after being unhappy with the results once again, I called the office to ask exactly what product had been used. That's when I was told it was Letybo, not Dysport. I am extremely disappointed. I was clear about my concerns, clear about my request, and clear about what I consented to. Yet I was given a product I explicitly asked not to receive. Even more troubling, it was presented in a way that led me to believe I was getting Dysport, which felt misleading and dismissive of my concerns. After three years of trust, this experience felt unprofessional and careless--especially in a medical aesthetics setting where transparency and patient consent are essential. I expected to be listened to and respected as a long-term patient, and unfortunately, that did not happen here.

I…read moreoriginally found them through Groupon (great value around $70), but lately I've been booking directly with the spa even though it's around $90, and honestly I think it's worth it. It feels like they use even nicer products when booking direct, which I've really noticed in the results. The facility is always very clean and relaxing, the products feel high quality, and the facial massage is amazing -- one of my favorite parts. Service has consistently been great every visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Overall, a wonderful experience every time and definitely a place I keep coming back to.

(I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.
