She was so helpful to me, I needed products to style my hair straight. The store is in the midst of moving down the street still on Foothill but she has plenty of beauty supplies and also FACE MASKS, GLOVES & HAND SANITIZERS. Been coming to Hans for a while, once to get my acrylics removed, and more recently with a friend to get Acrylics applied! Kim is awesome! She's so sweet and is so efficient at what she does! They've let me sit next to my friend to watch every time and it's so interesting! Kim says she already has an idea for next time we come in, and my friend is already so excited! They remembered us when we walked in, and even asked about how our previous purchases worked out. I've had nothing but great experiences with the staff and the manager is the best! For 15 years or more I was a client of Han's Monrovia store..I knew all the employees (Even who was expecting a long desired baby) ..In fact, they babied me! This place is great it's expensive but you walk out with a top of the line mani and pedi and feel it was worth every penny ! I came by to buy a new file. The shop has a little bit of everything throughout the store, so I ended up having to ask where the nail files were as they weren't with the other nail supplies. Best Beauty Store Evah! I went in today because I just ran out of Goldwell Treatment conditioner, one of my favorite hair products. I grabbed that and a shampoo and went to the register. The employee there who was about to ring me up said, "I think we can do better than this for you". I didn't understand but she went to the back and grabbed me the same shampoo and conditioner but in one nifty package. While it would have been $50 separately it was $36 together. I was so impressed and thanked her profusely. The women being rung up in the next isle had a $3 dollar product which I think was a nail file. My cashier stopped the other cashier in the middle of scanning the product and said, "It is one dollar cheaper if you giver her the same product without the packaging." The other customer was as thrilled as I was and said, "That's great I hate packaging" When I was leaving my amazing cashier said, "I love this kind of day, it is beautiful out, I can feel it" I laughed smiling and with $15 extra dollars in my pocket. It is one thing to be a bargain hunter but it is another thing when the employee does all the hardwork and research for you. I am positive I will be a regular! read more

This is the only spot around my hood that carries that which I need. 1. Ice Spiker Styling Glue 2. Spiker Blast Spray Adhesive (yes I said Adhesive) The staff knows their sh*t, and are super great to talk to. The parking is okay, having to share with the rest of the Hastings Ranch horde. I was at the grocery store and Annie the stores owner recognized me and remembered who I was. she informed me that they were now opening their new location and that I should come by. I was a loyal customer to them at their old location but during Covid it took them a little while longer to open so I had to go somewhere else which was nowhere near as Friendly or good as Hans. When I tell you I was looking everywhere for this pravana artificial hair color extractor I mean everywhere it wasn't until I was at work and I realized that there was a beauty store near me and I thought it would be a longshot but it actually wasn't that actually had the products I needed and I couldn't have been more grateful because Pravana had taken these off the shelf for reformulation but I need it this really bad the staff was so helpful and I am cannot be more grateful. Received excellent service from Irene both on the phone and in-store today. She is very knowledgeable about Nioxin products and made sure I purchased what I needed. The price of the Nioxin shampoo and condition set was close to what I spent for just the shampoo elsewhere. I also learned that Nioxin products purchased online might be counterfeit - explains why my hair started thinning Now I know where to go and who to talk to for my hair care product needs. read more

I've been getting my nails and toes all gussied up here for years - like nearly ten or so. I'd have gladly told folks how much I liked the place had there been a Yelp back then, but no such luck, at least not back in the day! Fast forward to now - and I do mean RIGHT now, 'cause my nails sho' do need a fill - and I can share just how much I love this place. I've been seeing the same "nail tactician" for all this time - and believe me, this woman can work miracles on my nails, even when the dog leash has gotten the best of my tips, or I've lost yet another toe nail in a marathon - a badge of honor for sure, but with the peep toes, not so much. Anyway, the manager here knows all of us regulars by name - even when we call on the phone after long absences - and she always makes you feel welcome. I've also gotten my eyebrows shaped here as well, and they do a superb job - no small feat since when these babies get unruly, they start to resemble caterpillars crawling across the bridge of my nose. One warning, however is to beware the product police - a woman who literally yells unsolicited advice at your back while you're perusing the beauty supplies - stupid stuff like, "Do you know how to use that? It's not meant for every day, you know." There's helpful and then there's annoying. Guess which end of the scale she's on? I'm sure she means well. Really. But I been grown a long time, and reading is a skill I mastered likely long before she was born. I promise before I mess up my 'do, I'll ask if I need to. Other than that, I Heart Hans! read more

I come here when I need to buy shampoo and conditioner. I use Joico, and they almost always have the duos in stock and on sale. Ulta only has the duos every few months. There have been a couple of times the duos were sold out, but the owner was very accommodating and put together the duo i needed, which I greatly appreciate! They do carry a lot of other things as well. I would say its a one-stop shop for hair care products and nail products. read more

I've been purchasing beauty products from Hans for more than 10 years! The owner is extremely helpful and always remembers me every time I walk in! Their prices are great and some are even bargains no one can beat! I can not recommend their nail salon if you do silk wraps. I gave them a try since the salon seems very clean and I'm friendly with the owner... boy what a huge mistake! It's the one and only time I've ever got up and left less then half way through the process. The lady clearly had no idea how to work with silks but insisted that she did just to make a few bucks- well not really a few bucks since a full set of silks are quite expensive. The silk pieces were glued all over my hands and she used the bag technique but the bag was stuck on to my nails too. It took me hours at home to get the rest of the glue off my fingers. read more
