This is a sad little story but entirely to Neilsen Florist's credit. My family from Boston, NYC and Toronto sent flowers to a terminally ill Aunt 2 weeks ago - the roses came from Neilsen and were exquisite, and lasted (most of them) 11 days. We ordered more to arrive a yesterday but there was no sign of them by end of day today, so I called Neilsen. It was just after closing but the owner picked up and did everything she could to help...turned out the order company hadn't used Neilsen this time and the company they did use hadn't followed through. Sadly, tomorrow (when it seems the flowers will at last arrive) will be too late for our Aunt, but we wanted to thank Neilsen's owner for her efforts to sort things out (even though it was not her responsibility) and for her kindness in offering to get flowers to us anyway. There aren't many business people like her around. And her roses were absolutely top quality. Thank you. read more

I spoke with Lisa and she was extremely professional and came across as very caring/compassionate. She listened well and responded accordingly to exceed my expectations! Tip for ordering flowers from any florist: If ordering flowers for delivery on Valentines Day or Mother's Day, I always schedule flowers to be delivered at least a couple days in advance! The first florist whose services I've used and I have to say from the minute I called I was treated with kindness and patience, she helped me with a vision I had and made it come to life in such a beautiful way. These are truly some of the sweetest women I've ever met! They were helpful, kind, appreciative and so much more, I showed up shortly after I arrived I was greeted with warmth and assisted with pride and great customer service. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for a florist, they've got more than just flowers, chocolate bears, it's like a one stop Valentine shop! My range of flowers was from about $50 to about $70 which is a good price for quality work! I personally feel that's is a just fine price for a beautiful thought out bouquet of flowers made with love and time. They even let me use their charger in my car while I waited! IT'S NOT GOING TO LOOK GOOD. SLOPPY ARRANGEMENT AND POOR FLOWER QUALITY AND QUANTITY. I ordered the sunflower bouquet in the "deluxe" size for my boyfriend on our anniversary. When I got home, there were 5 sad sunflowers in a sloppy arrangement. This cost me $70. I complained to the company I ordered through, and they assured me that Neilsen Florist sent along their apologies. Seriously? I will never buy anything from there again. I work for a pet rescue and there is a holiday auction where the proceeds go towards our rescue dogs. I put together a dog bed basket with our pet rescue sweatshirt, t-shirt, and bag and some dog treats. It is huge so last year, I called around to see if a florist would wrap it with cellophane for us. Several florist said they didn't have time, couple said they would have to see it to determine how much. When I called Nielsen's Florist, Leisa told me to bring it in and they would be MORE THAN HAPPY to do it at no cost!! OMG... I was so impressed and appreciative!! I They did this last year for us and again this year!! The basket looked beautiful and Leisa even matched the ribbon colors with our pet rescue colors. This tells me they are very mindful and puts a lot of thought when putting arrangements together. I attached a photo but it was too big to take out of the box. Our dogs thank you too!! read more

At around 3pm, they fielded a panic call from me needing a gorgeous arrangement on the step of my sister's door by 6pm. Without hesitation, the woman on the other end asked for the address, did some out loud thinking, and then proceeded to ask all the rest of the info that comes along with ordering flowers. In less than 5 minutes, I was reassured that my sister would receive a glorious, colorful bouquet for $50 (my request), plus a $15 delivery fee. A little over an hour later, my phone dinged with a text message of an elated sister holding a bountiful vase of vibrant flowers. Mission accomplished. read more

I went inside to investigate and a very kind woman greeted me and was a little shocked that a person came inside the shop. (They mostly take phone/online orders.) DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FLORIST!!!! My boyfriend is thoughtful, generous, and extremely organized. He makes up for my lack of organization. With that being said, knowing that Valentine's Day is a busy day for folks he made sure to place his order 2 1/2 weeks in advance. Not to mention he ordered lavendar roses and they were red. He knows my favorite color is lavendar and well mistake number 2 by this dreadful florist. So you can imagine my surprise as I am about to leave work at 5 on the dot to make dinner when I get a call from my receptionist to tell me I had a flower deliver yesterday (2/14/18). Yes, despite ordering a dozen and half roses 2 and a half weeks in advance these flowers arrive as I am leaving!!! I would've understood last minute orders, or even the flowers arriving late afternoon, but 5 o'clock as the work day is over. I was utterly disappointed and felt even worse for my sweet boyfriend who had waited for that text all day from me to tell him he was the sweetest guy ever. Although he certainly is, Neilsen Florist is by far the WORST florist I have ever encountered. I've never, ever, ever seen anyone receive flowers, especially on Valentine's Day when the work day is over. Again, NEVER USE THIS FLORIST. Valentines Day Nightmare! I ordered this awesome package from 1800flowerscom, roses, teddy bear, and chocolates for like $85. The order was fulfilled locally by "Capital Hill Flower & Garden". A sweet lady deliver named Betty delivered the flowers to us on Valentines Day. Note, Betty does not work for "Capital Hill Flower & Garden" as she is an independent driver. To the point of this review, the nightmare started with "Capital Hill Flower & Garden" part of this process from 1800flowerscom. The flowers I got from them were wilted and only 3 roses, rest daisies, no teddy bear, and no chocolates. I was furious as I couldn't give my wife this crap on Valentines Day. Right away talked to someone at "Capital Hill Flower & Garden". A lady said that she was sorry about the order; they don't know what happened, as they didn't know what was sent from 1800flowerscom so they guessed at what was to be delivered to our house, my wife, on Valentines Day. Gave me the option to keep the flowers and the teddy bear and chocolates would be delivered the next day. Or refund. All in a I don't give a "F" tone. Considering the flowers I got from them were wilted and only 3 roses, rest daisies, things that I could gotten from my own garden? And for $85? Hell No! So I declined on accepting and went the refund route. Then Betty the sweet deliverer comes to the rescue on this important day. Betty said that she has a bunch of flowers in her car that are going to be thrown out from Neilsen Florists as they are not considered to be high enough quality for delivery. Betty calls up Leisa the owner from Neilsen Florists and gets an okay to give them away for free to us so that I can have something to give my wife on Valentines Day. So Betty opens her car and asks, "So what do you want?" And I was like; it was like, a buffet of flowers for free! I quickly ran back in the house yelled at my wife to come out with a large vase. The flowers that are going to be "thrown out" from Neilsen Florists were actually fresher than the flowers that were "tried" to be delivered to me from "Capital Hill Flower & Garden". At the end of the day, we made out like a flower bandit for free thanks to Betty the deliverer and Leisa from Neilsen Florists! Now I know where to go locally for my flower needs and its going to be Neilsen Florists! 1800flowerscom did me right too, full refund and a coupon for my next purchase with them. I called Neilsen Florist because I wanted to support a local business when sending flowers to my father in law in the hospital. They were so gracious, and service was over the top amazing. They made a beautiful bouquet in requested "Huskies" theme that made Grandpa feel loved. Not only that, but because they are near, they actually PICKED UP photos and drawings from my kids so he could have photos of his grandkids with his flower delivery, and during the drop off, they gave our family a little bonus bouquet with the names of the flowers included for my girls to learn from/enjoy. Made me cry it was so sweet. These folks are in the flower business for ALL the right reasons. My son who lives in CA ordered the Beyond Blue bouquet (blue is my favorite color) and was assured that the vase and flowers were in stock. The arrangement was delivered after 6pm and what I received was not even close. The vase was clear, the flowers were totally different and the bouquet was quite small. My son was upset and called Neilsen the next day. He was told they would immediately rectify the situation and deliver what was ordered. That did not happen. I believe that my son ordered through PRO FLOWERS. Why they routed the order to a shop in Seattle when I live in Redmond, I do not know. What I do know is that Neilsen was not honest in putting together my birthday bouquet. VERY DISAPPOINTING. read more

Second when they arrived they were not the same arrangement she had ordered ( was the much cheaper version like ). She called the person on the phone said they would send a new arrangment out the next day and giver her 25-30% refund on her card. The next day came and they never send out a replacement and they never refunded her. So she called again the person who answered the phone said again they would send out a new arrangment again the next day and refund her card for the full amount but .....now its the next day she called them and....they are not honoring there promise on sending a new arrangment and they are only going to credit her card 25%......this place is a freaking joke DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! read more

Neilsen Florist 309 S Cloverdale St Ste C7 Seattle, WA 98108 Thank you for your recent service. I am in Santa Barbara, CA and my sister was in the VA hospital on Columbia Ave. in Seattle. I tried to find a local florist to provide flowers etc... for my sister because I thought they would do a better job - I was right! I can't believe they lengths Neilsen Florists went to satisfy my order. Due to room transfers it was hard to find my sister in the hospital but they kept trying. Not just on the Saturday delivery they promised but again on Monday. I called Monday to change a second order and provide a different delivery address. Unknown to me the new address was an hour away and they agreed to deliver the Saturday order for the third time, at no additional charge the next Wednesday... That's crazy! I offered to pay additional for the exceptional service and the owner declined. I later found out later that Ms. Neilsen's husband delivered the entire order out of town on his way to work. I'm sending her a really nice thank you card and I will recommend her to everyone I can think of. This is the kind of service you hear about but rarely find! Thank you Neilsen Florist! I ordered a bouquet on 10/1 at 1pm to be delivered before 5pm that same day. There guarantee was if you ordered before 3pm we can get it there the same day. That didn't happen! I got a call at 4:40pm that afternoon stating that they can't deliver them today. They told me that because they were unable to meet their guarantee, they would upgrade my bouquet with no extra charge and give me 20% of my money back. I asked them when they would be delivered and they said tomorrow first thing in the morning and they said they would give me an email conformation when they got delivered. 12:30pm on 10/2 rolls around, no flowers. I call them, they tell me that they will be delivered in the next 2 hours. Ok, I wait....4pm rolls around, still no flowers. I call and yell at them, they said he should be there in 30 minutes, which FINALLY was the truth. I get home and see the flowers on the table, my best friend is happy but I'm not. The flowers I ordered were blue, purple and yellow! They mentioned the roses where a little more orange then yellow, i said that's fine. The flowers she received were orange, yellow and red! No blue, no purple. AND, not an upgrade...the same size I ordered the first time! This company needs to get there shit together! read more

My fiancé ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day. The flowers did not arrive on Valentine's Day and when he called to ask where they were, he was told that they would be delivered on the next available day. He then requested a refund and was sent the same message again, the flowers will be delivered on the next available day. They were delivered the Friday afternoon before a long weekend and have already died. Very disappointed in the customer service (or lack thereof). I am so happy with Neilsen Florists! Although, I didn't order they them they took time to help me locate my flowers through FTD and took all my worries away. They personally called them on the phone and made sure all was well. They took time to also call the truck driver to make sure my order was safe and sound. I never do reviews but if I could give this zero stars I would. I'm not sure if it was this florists fault or FTD. First off the flowers were delivered to my wife at work they were suppose to be all purple flowers her favorite color. They ended up all pink which she hates. The roses that were in the bouquet were all wilted. Then the chocolates that she received were Stovers. The bouquet she received was a lot smaller than what was described. So I called FTD to get a refund. They tell me they can redeliver a whole new order or they can credit me 20%. To anyone that would understand this. Your willing to send out a whole new order over 100 bucks with service fees but only willing to give me 20% credit back. Does not make sense well I definitely am not ever using FTD again. For a company that is big as they are you would think they would have a lot better customer service guess not. So to anyone wanting to send flowers use 1800 flowers instead I sent one couple weeks before this and it was a perfect flowers and wonderful chocolates best service by far. read more
