I decided to order from Hao because I was in the area and I am always on the hunt for a good Chinese Restaurant. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The house fried rice was OK. It truly was one of the tasteless fried rices I have ordered from a restaurant. The Egg foo young was just ass tasteless. I'm not sure how this restaurant is still in business. The food is very underwhelming. I'm not sure I have ever ordered from a Chinese restaurant and not received fortune cookies. The portions seemed smaller than other Chinese Restaurants in the area. Was going to order online but then saw the prices were jacked up so ordered in person for cheaper. Watch out if you order online the prices are all raised more than the menu prices, so you're better off just calling in your order. Also, no option to select fried rice instead of white rice with entrees online. I ordered a couple items. One shrimp entree and one chicken. Both were supposed to be spicy. Neither were very spicy. I'm actually surprised by how low the reviews are for HAO. As someone who's pretty picky about Asian food, especially Chinese, I tend to gravitate more toward Thai cuisine. But I have to say, HAO has some really good dishes. Their fried dumplings, Mongolian beef (a bit less oily would be better), and General Tso's chicken are all excellent. Some dishes have a bit too much cumin for my taste, but that's just a personal preference since I'm not a big fan of cumin. One pleasant surprise? They have the BEST chili oil in town! I was thrilled to find that option, and when you pair it with the sauce for the dumplings, the flavor is unbeatable. The only area that could use improvement is the customer service--not terrible, just lacking energy. Sometimes it feels like they're not as enthusiastic about the business. All in all, HAO is worth a try, and I do recommend it. read more

I saw this restaurant on a delivery app. I saw some dumplings on tv this day and was craving some. I have never had food from this restaurant but the reviews were decent. I ordered the Pan Fried Potstickers and Dry Fried Eggplant. Dry Fried Eggplant (Spicy) as: Dried chili peppers, scallions, cilantro, Sichuan spices. I was pleasantly surprised with this dish. It was crispy fried eggplant with a little sauce on the bottom. The flavor blooms in your mouth with just a little kick. The cilantro and chili flakes are the star of this dish. I will most definitely order this again. Fried Potstickers: (8) ground chicken & veggies stuffed in dumpling noodle. These were so good but you have to heat them up. The sauce comes with it is bomb! I have no idea what it's called but it just makes you want to keep dipping. Ordered food from Hao. As we do regularly. When I picked up the food I asked the cashier for some HOT OIL. He said they're $.25 each. I asked really? Then said "No worries thank you" and left. When I got to my car I realize I just spent $91 on food from this place and they are trying to charge me $0.25 for some hot oil. This is ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I ordered the Pork Egg Rolls, Pan Fried Pot Stickers, Spicy Chongqing Chicken with a side of egg fried rice. All of it was DELICIOUS and just what I needed for... recovery. The chicken was bland and practically flavorless. It was mushy too and the sauce tasted more like old orange chicken sauce than sesame chicken sauce. I was dissatisfied and disappointed to say the least. The fried rice on the other hand WAS flavorless. It was literally unseasoned fried rice with no vegetables in it at all, just bits of egg scattered throughout. I also ordered a lemonade which was free with my "check in" and even that wasn't good. Maybe they need to change something on their fountain drink dispenser. I don't know, but the lemonade wasn't sweet at all. It was just cold, yellow lemon flavored water. Honestly, I would have given it 1 star, but the cashier was nice enough to give me an extra "to go" box. I originally intended to split the meal up and eat my leftovers the following day.
