Hit and miss with this spot for me. I've been here twice and both times they've been pretty busy. Spring rolls are good along with the basic brisket pho. Service is okay but when they're busy you'll be wondering why it's taking a while for you to get an order in, ask for anything extra, or where your drinks are. Overall decent pho and prices. If in the area and craving pho give them a chance just keep in mind like all places when busy expect a wait. read more

I went to this restaurant after work the other week, and ordered one of their coffees as a little treat to myself. I paid $10.50 on this coffee(it was their eggy vietnamese coffees, but I added sesame foam to it so it was an extra charge of like $2.50 so it wouldve been just $8 or so without.). I got a tiny cup of it and don't get me wrong, the flavors were delicious, but I had maybe like 3oz total of actual drink in that cup. There was ice up to the top and it was very disappointing and definitely not worth an entire $10.50 for what was 90% ice. I would go again if we got bigger cups that were proportional to how much ice they apparently needed to put into my drink, because again it was absolutely delicious. We really liked this place. It's a pho restaurant in a flower shop, so the atmosphere was really quiet and relaxing. The TVs were playing K-pop, but at a quiet background noise level. The service was fast, with someone brining water and the Basil plate right away. We liked that there was a whole vegetarian menu, and even a vegetarian pho! The vegetarian pho was loaded with veggies and tofu. We'd definitely come back for the quiet atmosphere and vegetarian options. The location os excellent. I can make my donations to Goodwill and then stop for lunch. I've only had the brisket pho and its absolutely delicious. I have never had to wait and I get service immediately. The food is great. The broth if the pho is superb. That's why I come here to get it all the time. I'm glad is within a reasonable distance from my house. They have beautiful plants inside and makes the ambiance really relax and fresh at the same time. Surprisingly good for Pho in Georgetown (I say this because there's very little competition for pho up north of Austin). It was such a cold day and we had to find the nearest pho. This spot was really easy to get to with tons of parking. The broth was delicious, I wish there was more in my bowl. There was almost too much noodle and protein and not enough soup, that's probably my only complaint. Bad pho. That I could let go. Sometimes foods don't come out right. But the service was really bad too. I wasn't going to say anything coz complaining takes time. But they asked me if everything was good and I simply could not say yes when the pho tasted bad. When I told them in a neutral manner, not angry at all, the lady server became defensive. She said that the noodles were a new batch and everyone that had pho today didn't complain. Ok, I guess that makes it impossible to have one bad bowl of pho . After paying, as we were leaving, I asked a gentleman if he was the owner. He said yes and when I told him what happened he basically had the same answer for me. Why bother to ask if you won't be receptive to the feedback? Why not just say "sorry it wasn't up to your expectations" or ask if they could replace it with something else? I ate 10-15% of the bowl, and only because I was starving when I got there. Save yourself a trip from this place. Every other pho place is better. Pho Dan in Round Rock is good. Also Pho Hoang. The meat that was on the brisket had a freezer burnt/off taste to it so I ended up avoiding all the meat and just eating the noodles and broth. This was my first visit to Pho MPH and it will likely be my last. A friend and I went there for an early lunch recently and found the pho to be underwhelming and overpriced. My friend had previously been to this restaurant and enjoyed her food then more than this time. To be fair, they have an extensive (and beautiful) menu with many choices other than pho... but we went specifically for the pho. The restaurant has apparently been open for over a year but still has a grand opening sign out front. The layout of the restaurant is somewhat confusing. There's a counter where it appears one would order and a menu above. This suggests ordering and then waiting for food to be delivered to the table. But if you're planning to eat at the restaurant there is table service. Water was delivered with the menus. Service was good, and it didn't take long for our dish of add-ins (bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil, lime wedges and cilantro) and chopsticks, spoons, and forks to be delivered, followed by our pho. The pho broth tasted very good, and there was an ample quantity of rice noodles. The meatballs were off-putting, as their texture was unpleasantly rubbery. Adding the herbs and bean sprouts, as well as squeezes of lime, improved the pho. My friend recalled having a larger bowl of pho on her previous visit, and enjoyed the chicken more than the meatball pho. Beef brisket pho is always my go to. It's been super cold outside and I had been experiencing some stomach pain so I was really needing a good soup. This place was so SO kind to me by letting me order as soon as they opened (I think 10:30am). They had my order ready within 15 minutes. The pho was so good and came with all the toppings on the side. I also appreciated that they kept the noodles separate from the broth because I can never finish it and if you reheat they go soggy that way. Came here twice now during grand opening week and a follow up a couple weeks after.. My favorite thing was the Special Vermicilli bowl There was a lot in of meat (both pork and shrimp), veggies and noodles fresh. This is hard to mess up if the meat is just generally good. In fact, I got this as a replacement for my egg noodle soup which they comped me on since the noodles were very undercooked, one big block and dough-y. Safe to say in this case, they have good service despite being slightly understaffed. Also safe to say that the cook during this visit was non Vietnamese and he was probably just being shown the ropes. On my second visit I reordered egg noodle soup again but with wonton and BBQ pork again - because I was that confident it was a training issue. Glad I did because it was so much better. The noodles cooked perfectly with a nice bite. Shrimp and pork wontons were succulent and appreciate the Chinese bbq pork even up in boondocks Georgetown! The banh mi I heard was controversial so I got it to test authenticity. The bread itself is great but people are right when it was tiny and had barely any filling. We're talking only a few strands I don't think even an American sandwich shop would skim out on meats that much. I think the veggies were forgotten so make sure you ask for the little plate of cilantro, jalepenos, basil, lime and bean sprouts. Some parts of the pho noodles smelled like wet towels or clothes left wet in the washer for a while. Needless to say, it left that bad taste in your mouth as well. The worst part was how they reacted to customer feedback and how they argued and denied it--really bad customer service. This restaurant is where I go for pho soup. My daughter likes their broccoli shrimp but I have eaten their spring rolls multiple times and I always find their shrimp to be on the brink of going bad. I enjoyed coming here when it first opened, but I feel like it's declining a bit now. They're often out of basil, which is essential for pho noodle soup. On the other hand, the employees are great and the service is excellent. I don't go as often as I used to but I still go now and then to see if it's improving. read more

Stopped here in the afternoon. The place was very clean and I was greeted warmly. It was almost empty inside so I could sit anywhere I liked. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and a #41 Pho with rare steak. The rolls were delicious! Peanut sauce was great and adding a little rooster sauce did the trick. I've been back a few times since my initial review. I can say that i do enjoy their food. It always tastes fresh but I find all their noodle dishes a bit too sweet. I wish that the menu had more descriptions as I ordered something called pan fried noodles and they were actually deep fried noodles. Very tasty but just not what I expected. SUMMARY: The portions size are really small. The regular pho is the same amount as a kids in other restaurants. NOT FRESH FOOD. Wrong hours. NOT CLEAN. Not worth the price. I feel like some of the good reviews are fake. Clearly talk positively about the negative points other customers brought up. Idk use your head and tell me what you think. I just feel gaslight. I've given this place 3 tries: First, I went a few months after it opened and the water glass had a red lipstick stain. I had no makeup on.... Second, I picked up a to go order of pho and the serving size was of a child. ( this was a few weeks ago ). Instead of being in the 32 oz soup container like other places do. Obviously the other places don't fill it to the top but that's okay bc it's an adult size. PHO MPH USES 16oz containers. Not even filled up. Unlike other places such as Saigon 512 in round rock or even Pho Diner near lake Georgetown that use 32oz. Side note: don't go to Pho Diner. Bad broth - doesn't taste like the boil the bones. Saigon 512 is pretty good and solid broth. A bit on the sweeter side but good and rich. 32oz serving size and a big container/bowl of noodles and meat. Taste like they boil the bones in the broth - MORE TRADITIONAL. Go to Pho Hang rock rock is you want good rich broth that has more citrus and onion flavor. In this economy you deserve good food for your money. That is why I am mad. Thirdly, their hours are wrong. Only open 4-9 MONDAY - FRIDAY. Not everyday. I get it that it's family place. Just please correct the hours online. Now let's talk about flavor: THEIR CHICKEN IS JUST STORE BOUGHT ROTISSERIE CHICKEN!! I got their chicken pho. The soup doesn't like taste like they boil the bones to add flavor. It's probably and a pho soup flavor cube. - not nutritional like pho soup should be. I came in and order two Banh Mis last weekend and was not impressed. It took way too long, even though I was one of the only people there. The sandwiches were dissapointing; it's definitely on the smaller side, the outside of the baguette was way too hard, and the inside was stale. The meat in the sandwiches were mediocre and there was barely any meat at all. The Banh Mi Cha Lua legitimately did not taste like anything.
