I made a mistake trying a new place walking distance from my home. I just wanted a regular manicure, and removing the gel I had on to scope the place. First impression, arrogant and rude and I still chose to stay and give this mom and pop shop a chance. She assumed I spoke "Spanish", when I'm German American and speak 3 languages. I told her I don't speak Spanish- so she proceeded to talk smack to the client she was working on in front of me. (Um excuse me I speak and understand English perfectly) Then, a random emotion-less man from the back came to work on my nails, did not say hello, nor asked me at any time what I wanted! Horrible customer service, and I sat there Like a dumb *** hoping it would turn around. He removed my gel incorrectly (never used acetone just the nail drill) and destroyed my nail bed. I don't think I have to say more except the place is dirty, dusty, and not friendly at all. I do not recommend, and yes I paid $36 for a manicure and tipped, why in the world did I do that ? Never coming back- please learn how to treat customers better and not force your unhappy son to do something he hates doing. read more

HORRIBLE place. They did my nails, and it was super bad. Looked bad and i walked away because I thought I was just being picky. Until many people pointed out that it was a bad job with a few air bubbles he had left behind. I went the following day to try to get them to fix- which they did. Everything I asked for they couldn't do so I asked for a simple pink color. Then after them originally charging me 50$ for my nails the day before they proceeded to charge me another 15$. Though I had no broken nail though they didn't do nothing but fix their mistake. All the Lady said was 15 for color change. It's ridiculous to have paid exactly 65$ for a simple work of nails. If you're looking for a place to get your nails done while on a budget then this is it. Located next to the food for less and a laundromat. They take walk ins, I've noticed it's better to call ahead even if it's a couple of minutes before and they can accommodate you. The service is fast and there are certain technicians who care way more about your nails than others. The rags seem old and discolored. The one they used last time had weird detergent lumps. When you get your toes done they don't even put a plastic bag over the sink. Just make you put your feet into this discolored sink( unless you ask for the bag, which they don't seem happy to grab.) read more

Do not come to this nail salon the woman who works here(the owner) is a racist and the nail quality for the Gel X nails is awful. I (a Latina woman) entered the nail salon on time to my 3pm appointment to have a set removed and a new set put in. The woman was unpleasant and rude right off the bat. She looked at my nails and told me why I was even there and told me I didn't need to get my nails done I told her that although all my nails were there that the set I wanted her to remove was from march (we are in may). I felt this action alone showed her racism because even if my nails WERE in good condition she should still want my business regardless because that brings her in revenue, but she was so racist it was obvious she didn't want to deal with me. She then starts drilling my nails down and points my nails towards my face so that all the residue hit my face, this really upset me because I was getting the set done for my birthday dinner that was happening that night and had my makeup completely done, it got so bad I was actually turning my face to the side but that did not stop her: As she was doing my nails I tried to make small talk complimented the wall art, asked how her day was, she would just give me one word answers or brush me off entirely. I thought maybe she could just be having an off day but it was also my birthday. Because it was my birthday I wanted my nails to be a little bit extra she was so annoyed by the fact I wanted designs and when I was picking out the gems I wanted I was like "I want this one, and this one, and this one" by the 5th "this one" she let out a groan and rolled her eyes I then told her it was my bday (maybe thinking telling her out loud would give her some compassion or make her be a little less rude) and I even apologized if I was being extra to which she responds "ok". She was super annoyed the entire process of doing my nails and it was so obvious. She took about 2 hours and I was already on a time crunch but noticed my nails were extremely flimsy to the point where if I put my finger nail down on a surface it would bend, this scared me but I wanted to trust that despite her rudeness that the nails were at least good quality, THEY WERE NOT. I will never return. I stopped by for a full set that left my nails EXTREMELY damaged. Andy drilled my nails sooo deep into my nail beds that i have an obvious line in each nail from where the acrylic was placed. He did not clip my natural nails so under my acrylic u could see my real nails inching out. Who does that?! When i walked in it was nearing closing time and i was worried they wouldnt be able to see me. So i asked andy (while he was doing someone elses nails) if i could get a full set. If you happen to find yourself there, make sure you choose the guy, and he'll do a descent job for sure. The lady that I got today was either new or really messy. I have "dancer toes" if you know what I mean, lol! So I told her to put extra separation (she uses toilet paper lol) between my pinky and the other toe, she just nodded and kept going. Then she asked me to walk towards the manicure section...and as I called it...my toes got all messed up. I let her know what happened, and asked her if she could fix it. Her way of fixing it was by putting more polish on top of the damaged areas...it looked ugly!! I realized she didn't speak a word of English, so I asked the owner or manager to please tell her to fix it. She came to check my toes and talked to her in their language. Finally she agreed with baaad attitude to take it off and re-do. I was supposed to do mani-pedi, but after that experience I told her I only wanted her to finish my toes and that's it. Pedicure is $23 according to the menu they have on the wall. Well...they charged me $38. According to the owner it was $28 for the pedi and $10 for taking my dip powder off my nails. All I wanted was to get out if there, so I paid $38 and tipped her $4...bc I felt bad for her bad attitude. I asked the guy if I could talk to him outside, and told him exactly why I didn't want to stay for my mani...and he just made a joke and ignored the real situation. So it's when I decided to write this review. The owner didn't care, the workers don't care...so yelpers need to know: don't go waste your time and money there. read more

The guy realized that he was going an hour over my scheduled appointment time so he decided to take a break from doing the other client's nails and rushed mine the whole way through. He didn't even greet me, he left bumps on my nails, didn't even file them straight, and it's been a little over one week only and all my nails have chipped. I came in to get my acrylics removed and after waiting about 15 minutes I'm sat down and the lady starts trying to rip off my acrylic nails WITH A FAKE NAIL. I mean like shoving it under to pull them out. No acetone, no drill, no file NOTHING. I could've ripped my acrylics at home for free. Nail salons should make it less painful and damaging from my experience. She did my pinky and it hurt but I was like alright maybe this is just how she does it and I'll wait to see what my ring finger feels like. While she's very aggressively trying to take my nail off of the ring finger, another customer notices what she's doing and asks why she isn't using acetone and I agree. She ignores me the the first time and continues. After hurting my finger (I don't even know how probably the FAKE NAIL JAMMED UNDER MY NAIL) I draw blood and she takes me to soak my nail in acetone. I'm left there for 5 minutes and as I was trying to avoid my bleeding finger getting in the acetone because I knew it would sting, it still gets in there and causes even more pain. I wash my hands and leave because I knew she wouldn't remove them correctly if she really left me there for that long after not even apologizing when she hurt my nail. I drove 20 minutes to my tried and true nail salon that knows how to properly remove acrylics. Safe to say I'll never go back here. read more
