I used to come here all the time, but came in last week and their prices seem to have skyrocketed. And their service has gone down. Came in for a pedicure and wanted a specific color of nail polish, so I brought it in for them. Was charges over $60 for the pedi just for me to be cut at least 3 times. I had to keep saying ouch and move my foot. The tech apologized, but I was still cut on the other foot. This was my pedicure for my wedding, which made it very disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, I'll be looking for a new location. read more

First time here. Very friendly employees. My pedicure was nice. I chose #2 and got a nice 5 minute leg(although wishing it concentrated more on my feet). I took off 1 star because I dont like to be conned about the length of time it will take to get serviced.... Everything is 5 minutes... and the polish seemed a little old. I will go back and possibly change my review to 5 stars. We will see.... read more

I've been to Royal before. Every month for about a year. Then COVID hit. I stopped coming. Today I came back and I brought a friend. Wow! what a difference 3 years makes! The place looks completely different. Everything is modernized, organized and the lighting is way better. I didn't see any of the old staff, so I'm assuming maybe "new ownership"? We also didn't make an appointment. We walked in around 10:00 a.m.. they open at 9:30 according to Google. They took us in right away. I got the Blue lagoon. I don't remember what my friend got but We were both very satisfied. Both our pedis started at the same time, And ended around the same time. Both ladies were very gentle and followed our requests. We didn't feel rushed at all. Only thing was They were a little aggressive with the upsell. But I get it. Based on today's experience I will definitely come back and I know my friend would come back too. read more

Although they have a friendly staff, but they do a very cheap job! I recently went to this solan for a pedicure, the massage was amazing but my pedicure was an absolute nightmare! I actually had to call them to let them know and had to go back the second time to re-do it...the polish that she used was old and thick, instead of throwing it away and use a new bottle, she kept on brushing and looked like she was patching my nails so she could make them look smooth, which they didn't....and because she went over the nails quite few times, they took forever to dry out...I had my pedicure at 4pm even the next morning when I wore my sneakers, they were still not dry enough and got even worse!!! And I found it funny when the next day I went back to have them fix the horrible job that they did, she told me she throw away the bottle after she used it on my toes...she could have saved us both the headache if she did that right when she noticed how thick the polish was‍ The two stars are for them being friendly... and by the way, as I was waiting for my nails get dry, I noticed a cockroach...I don't think I would ever go back to this solan again! read more

Before my pedicure, I was asked if I would like to upgrade to the $70 jelly pedicure. She asked me twice and even had her colleague next to her approach me to upsell the service. I found this to be somewhat intrusive and made me uncomfortable. The 10-minute massage I received was mediocre. I was asked if I would like to extend it for an extra 10 minutes while I waited for my friend's service to be completed. I was charged an additional $17 for gel polish. I know most places charge for gel but $17 extra is a robbery. There are no indications on the menu for the cost of gel or that they even charge extra for that so keep that in mind. The actual application of the polish was nice. My feet felt soft afterwards. I got the cucumber scrub. I would have enjoyed my service more if I wasn't asked multiple times to upgrade to the most expensive pedicure they have after saying no and if they were upfront about the gel price. read more

I come all the way from Glendale to get my pedicures done here. If I did my acrylics still I would get them done here too! -I always receive great customer service and have the sweetest technician when I'm here. No matter who attends to me. -When I come in, I know I'm going to get a good clean, refreshing pedicure. They are always consistent, and never fail to leave me feeling pampered and satisfied. -They have a great selection of colors. I never have to question if they have something I'll like that week. I also love how they have choices as to what kind of pedicure you would like to have, down to the basics! Overall, I would definitely recommend this location for your nail needs. read more

I usually go to Steve and Cindy but they weren't there. After kindly telling a new lady to please remove the wonky cat eye affect, the shorter older man in the front came over to try and fix it but neither could do a good job. He got really upset and she started filing the polish off but continued to file my nail down thin, what seemed like out of spite, the shorter older man was very rude after that and I'm pretty sure he charged me 5 extra dollars. I'm going to have to pay more money to get my nails fixed and most nail salons aren't too nice about fixing other people's mistakes. NEVER COMING BACK. read more

i decided to try out a new nail spa and this one was not it. i previously had gel nail polish on and this older lady proceeded to drill off all the old polish off (no acetone soak nothing) and take off a few layers of my long natural nails. she also dunked my hand in scorching hot water at first before i had to say that it burns. the whole appointment felt like 20 mins, it just felt super rushed like she was just trying to get me out. and she was also put hella layers on with the gel and not cleaning up the sides leaving it looking messy. now my natural long nails feel so brittle like they're going to fall off. however the man that was doing some girls nails next to us seemed so genuine and enjoyed conversating with customers and just enjoyed doing his job. but other than him i don't recommend this salon read more

My search for a nail salon closer to home continues... As soon as I walked in, I noticed the modern, spacious, and clean atmosphere, which I really appreciated--no small, dingy nail shops for me. A regular pedicure is $35, with an additional $10 for callus removal. They definitely tried to upsell me on every package imaginable. A regular gel manicure is $35, and Bio Gel (hard gel) is $50. Tina did my pedicure, and I was very clear about the skin issues on the sides of my big toe. She did an amazing job getting into the sides without causing any pain, which was exactly what I wanted. Teresa worked on my hands and was so sweet and helpful. Looks like they've won over a spicy Latina customer! read more

I am convinced Roxy had no idea what she was doing . Not only did she cut me twice, the French is uneven , my nails are thick . The thickness of my middle finger is terrible the gel didn't cure as it just peeled 15 minutes after . First and last time trying this place . I've officially found my go to nail salon! Amazing customer service & they are really taking covid precautions by wearing masks & having dividers between you & the nail tech. Ask for Sophia to do acrylics & trust her, she knows how to make your nails look gorgeous! She was gentle, very friendly, & helped me get out of my comfort zone with this set! Ask for Jenny to do your pedicures - she gave me a perfect classic white gel set. She gives the best foot rubs & she is such a joy to talk to as well. Please consider another nail salon!. Jesse was very arrogant, I spent 92$ on the ugliest nails I've ever had done..I told him several times I wanted black or white French tip and a pink glittery color for the nail bed. He proceeded to paint my pinky black and talked me out of removing it? because of laziness and a half ass job. It truly shows. Well.. I'll start with The cleanliness of this establishment; The towels are old dingy and dirty. The lady that did my manicure did not use new sterile equipment, and when I asked her to please file my nails is she left Them uneven and in a odd shape. I brought it up to her attention and she did nothing about it, I brought it up to the attention of the front desk he grabbed a nail file and and quickly gave two swipes and said they looks great. And I also left with rash on my arm from either the scrub or the used towel or maybe the gloves. And they also just picked whatever service they wanted to give me for my manicure overall I paid 120 and unhappy with my manicure. On the other hand my pedicure which was done by Cindy, she did a great job. Paid attention to detail and made sure to take care of any additional things that she felt needed attention. This is my second time at the salon for a refill on acrylics. Kenny did my refill last time and I was quite pleased but I don't think all techs uphold the quality. The tech who did my nails today did a rushed job and did NOT clean my nails from underneath at all. She said something like "wear gloves while eating because this is all food stain." She wasn't rude per se but she just didn't care. I'm very confused. I'm so disgusted at how gross the underside of my nails look after paying 45 bucks for a refill. Isn't that why I'm here for a refill to get my nails redone and thoroughly cleaned. She did not even take the time to shave off the lip. As customers sometimes you feel awkward speaking up because the provider is just not listening. I'm very disappointed. read more

While my first set was good I felt like my fill was rushed which may have caused the lifting. I had my nails removed at a different salon and they noticed the root cause immediately. While the staff here was nice, I do think that attention to detail lacked a bit. Paint was over my skin and when my nail grew out it most likely allowed an entry way for water to sit between my nail and the acrylic. Ultimately my experience was great until I removed the nails and saw the discoloration. Maybe this was just a one off for me but it definitely was not a pleasant surprise. I came here because my normal salon was booked and even though my nails looked great- it sucks that I did end up having lifting and discoloration in my nail (which I've never had before). read more

The gel polish chipped significantly, and 2 of my nails broke, which is not the level of quality I would expect from a gel manicure. I was busy watching the soccer game during my appointment and did not engage in or participate in the employees' conversations (although I did talk here and there about the game, just in case you're wondering ). My point was simply that the gossip (in Armenian) between the employees was loud enough for customers to hear, which I found unprofessional. I also don't believe I should be expected to spend more of my time returning to fix something that should never have happened in the first place, especially after only two days. I have no interest in returning. I wasn't looking for a solution. I was simply sharing my honest experience. One final point: your response incorrectly stated that I "engaged" in the employees' conversation. That is simply not true. Unfortunately, because you chose to make an inaccurate assumption instead of addressing the facts, you now have two negative reviews. Next time, make sure your information is correct.

Every single time they're so behind the owner doesn't say anything no one apologizes. I got my nails done it took 2 hours for regular gel. I asked for almond they did them round, the lady had to do five round of coats and my nails came out so bad different shapes. I did not pick the color she used on me. It was way different than the book , it was super see through and the shape was not right. I tried explaining to the owner how I felt and she was not understanding at all and said " next time pick another nail artist" and still charged me for a regular mani. The only reason I was going was for. Liz and Itzel that's it. I am attaching a picture because according to the owner, the shape it was perfect and the color was exactly like the book. The book was a deep dark blue and my shape is definitely not what I asked. I also communicated this to the Nail tech multiple times.

John and Tracy are husband and wife. When I tell you that they are both beyond creative and talented, it doesn't begin to describe the level that they are on. They are good enough to complete in those fancy nail art design competitions. They use the best products out there and because of that, my acrylics last a month most of the time with no lifting or breakage whatsoever. They are two of the kindest people to ever work in customer service. They treat their clients like royalty and because of that, they've developed a clientele list that will last and stand the test of time. It is beautiful and exceptionally clean and hygienic in there.
