Happy Camper Market is one of the closest businesses to the entrance of Zion, so it must get a ton of business with people walking out of Zion to get sandwiches and other foods to bring back into the park. The market is more convenience store than market, but they have premade sandwiches, cold drinks, desserts and a very small selection of produce. read more

Awesome little market--perfect for grabbing a quick snack before or after a day in the park. They had plenty of great options, and the staff was efficient with no lines. The exterior was charming, and the location right outside the park couldn't be more convenient. read more

This store is located just in the shopping area near the entrance of Zion National Park. They have a shared parking lot and this store have wide variety of items basic Essentials, breakfast, coffee, quick grab snack items, frozen meals, vegetables, fruits drinks, water and pretty much they have everything that you will find in a small store that contains produce. Prices for the area are very reasonable the staff is not that friendly, but you know what, it's a tourist area, I understand. read more

While camping at watchman this store is so convenient! They have a food selection of grab and go items plus those last minute hiking and camping items you might have forgotten and lots of souvenirs. They have this Mantecada muffin that is perfect for breakfast. Everyone that works here seems really nice and the line always moves fast. read more

Another shop in the complex near the entrance to Zion, making it a great location for folks staying in town or people camping within the park. They have pretty much everything campers in particular may need. Like firewood for campfires, ice for coolers, a beer selection, camping gear, some snacks and grocery items, etc. It's a pretty good size and they also have a few housemade food items like egg muffin sandwiches, breakfast burritos, yogurt, etc. I wish I had noticed it the morning I took a drive out to Bryce Canyon because finding grab and go eats in town was a bit challenging. So if you're hitting the road *or* the trails it's a great spot to pop into and survey what you may need. read more

More often than not stores that are located near touristy areas don't really have a wide selection of items and are overpriced. Not in this case. There are a plenty of food choices, drinks, and even clothing. Whatever essentials you may need for a day or two you can find here. And what's better, prices aren't that crazy. I'd say on par with chain grocery stores / supermarkets. The checkout experience is not quite uplifting as your local Trader Joe's, but the store gets the job done. read more

1 star is too much. Someone here said they are rude ... Well that's an understatement. My wife and I went to buy some things on July 4th about 10 min before 9pm in case someone cares to check maybe a camera. One employee (skinny guy with glasses) of the Happy Camper Market was sweeping the carpet outside the entrance in a manner that was throwing all the dirt on us. I told him that maybe should stop his huge swings while we are passing and he just smiled and continued. That moment I said that is not really funny and he snapped out of the blue telling me that he can throw me out from the store if he wants. Wow at this point I was not in yet and he's throwing me out already. I ignored him seeing he's so uneducated but he followed me in and asked me to leave the store for being disrespectful apparently. I did not say any bad word, I didn't raise my voice but somehow he found me disrespectful. I left the store thinking it's just not worth it and I was stunned that this prick can actually talk to me like that. I returned after a minute and asked to see a manager or supervisor at least to tell someone how offended I was about he's behavior. At this point he said there was no manager in the store but he can call him if I want. I said sure I'll wait and then he started to scream that he's calling the cops if I don't leave the store...shocking again....for no reason. He's screaming at me and everyone in the store is looking to understand what is going on. I was never in my life so humiliated or thrown out from a store. I was thinking this guy is going to shoot me or something. Our kids were waiting in a car after an exhausting hiking day in Zion and I didn't want to ruin their evening so we left. Unbelievable behavior from someone working in this industry and when I think about being chased out of the store before even getting in. Rude, uneducated, shocking and utterly disappoing. If there is a manager or supervisor interested to find the truth check the camera or the store camera hopefully have audio to understand how this employee disrespected me and not the other way around. read more
