Only go to donut spot in San Jose area for me. Donuts are fluffy and soft in the inside. Taste is delicious. Not stale and not hard. 10/10 . Plus they are open 24/7!

Had a craving for custard filled donuts and this place definitely hit the spot! Love that this mom and pop shop is opened 24 hours a day, making fresh donuts at multiple points throughout. Great variety of donuts, especially my favorite custard filled (and it's generously filled) and also lemon filled. Great prices (with a cash discount), love the classic old school decor and vibes. Hope this small business continues to thrive for years to come.

Love that they open 24/7!! Have been a few times now and every time and at any hour I've been, the workers have been very nice and sweet. The donuts ofc are yummy. My partner who doesn't typically like cake donuts at all was surprised by how good these ones were because of the nice crunch all around. The little bell welcome and message has me dead every time though

This is our go to spot for doughnuts. The lady and the man who are taking the orders are very friendly and always give a goodie extra when we buy a dozen doughnuts :) They also have coffee, sandwiches and smoothies. It's a cash only place but they have an ATM machine there too.

After trying to find a donut shop after work for National Donut Day, I was ecstatic to see Happy Donut is open 24 hours. The woman working the counter was attentive and friendly, she was working on a few orders when I came in and communicated with me that she would help me soon. They had a large variety and I was super happy to get a blueberry donut because it's my favorite, but not all shops sell it. At check out, the woman threw in a couple donut holes for free of charge. Great spot to support local business and get a treat. Plus they have designated parking!

This is a donut shot. The place look scrunch but the donut was goooood. Go try it if you haven't had the chance. Here is my scoring card for this restaurant: 1) Location: ( 5 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking. 2) Decoration : (2 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean. 3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve 4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are average . 5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of American food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in USA. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies Total max is 25 Score 18 Stars = 72% round up to 3 stars

The done holes and croissant donut are delicious. I also tried the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with jalapeños and it hit the spot. Great donut shop!

What more can you ask for? Friendly service from a donut shop open 24 hours in the 7 Trees area?!? . Donuts fresh. Iced coffee is delicious. Establishment is clean. I'm not sure what more you'd ask from a ma and pop donut shop.

    Moist. Decadent.

Located in a small plaza off of Seven Trees where trash fills the parking lot. It's in a questionable neighborhood. Gavin was sick, so I went to get his favorites to cheer him up. He wasn't able to sleep the night before because he had a fever. First time I heard him cry at night. Cash only. Very friendly service. I ordered half a dozen. It was meant to be eaten w/in 2 days, between Gavin and I but we only ate 2.5 donuts. The chocolate old-fashioned was decadent, moist, and rich... but the others we tried were dry but I am not sure if it's because we had it sitting out uncovered. We will return to give it another shot, but we will stick to just one donut per this time.

I stopped by Happy Donut today--it's one of those old-school spots that feels like it's been around since the '80s, and honestly, it probably has. The place has that nostalgic charm, and the donuts? Surprisingly good. It's the kind of hidden gem that deserves way more love than it gets.

Temperatures were just under 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The air conditioning was great in here, not freezing cold but cool enough to be comfortable. There were a few other tables of people with their laptops out, and I was excited to see that they have expanded since my last visit and added more seating for customers. The lotus milk tea is still one of my favorites in the whole city. We sat at a table so there was no outlet, but I can't remember if there were outlets along the walls for the booth seating. The WiFi worked well and if there was background music it was not being blasted loudly. I would definitely keep this spot top of mind if I needed a reliable spot to work remote again, especially since there is now more seating than there used to be. Looking forward to coming by again soon!

(On a funny note: I did not know that they were going to open another location in Fremont, so I'm definitely attending their grand opening when they DO open in Fremont. Fingers crossed that I will be able to attend their grand opening. While I like the cherry blossom concept behind it, it left me rather disappointed when it came to the service and making of the drinks. While the coffee shop felt spacious and more than enough space to accommodate everybody, it just felt rushed throughout the whole time I was there. Their drinks were another dimension. I got their EGGspresso Hanoi, which surprisingly, was not bad at all. I loved how consistent the egg batter was, and the consistency of the coffee was quite equal. I will be back to try their other drinks, and hoping that their customer service could improve just a little bit more. I know they have the potential, but being more courteous goes a very long way compared to being bland in attitude, obviously.

Each drink is hand-whisked, so well worth the wait. Their cold foams were delicious and super flavorful as well. I was so excited to try the mango sticky rice matcha, as I hadn't seen this flavor anywhere else. The drink has a creamy salted coconut milk cold foam on top and some mango puree and glutinous rice on the bottom. Once everything was mixed, the mango flavor does get lost unfortunately. But still, the drink was amazing and rich. The guava li-hing matcha was sooo vibrant! I loved how the tropical flavor of the guava cold foam sprinkled with li-hing balanced out the earthy matcha. I've tried other guava matchas with guava puree on the bottom rather than cold foam on top, but I definitely prefer the latter to preserve the matcha flavor. The employees were kind and we came on a weekday afternoon with a short wait. Order at a kiosk. Limited seating inside. So when I travel, I'm usually hauling around an arsenal of brewing gear like some caffeinated survivalist. And yeah... I'm picky AF. I like what I like. So if you're gonna serve me coffee, it better show up dressed in a suit and tie. In this case, it absolutely did. I had to give the local spot near Grandma's house a shot. I walked in with crossed fingers and low expectations, but walked out with a satisfied palate, a smile, and an eagerness to visit again soon. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill coffee shop. They roast onsite. Real deal, Holyfield. I started with an espresso. Then a cortado. Then grabbed a bag of Yirgacheffe to go because I gotta see what else they got going on. . These guys clearly know what they're doing; and if they don't, they accidentally perfected it anyway. The espresso was balanced, clean, and intentional. Nothing hidden behind over-roasting or gimmicks. Just refined quality coffee handled correctly. I'm genuinely glad spots like this exist, and even happier one sits right here near my fam. The drinks were still top-notch--we really enjoyed them, and the Mediterranean bagel was also fresh and delicious. Quality-wise, they absolutely deliver. That said, the customer service unfortunately didn't match the level of the coffee. The cashier interaction felt curt and low-energy, and overall not very welcoming. When my husband asked about their most popular specialty drink, she mentioned the "Milky Way" and compared it to a Starbucks macchiato--which felt like an odd comparison for a specialty coffee shop that otherwise seems to take pride in its craft. More than anything, the interaction came across as disengaged and a bit uninterested, which stood out because places like this usually shine in both product and service. We'll likely still come back for the coffee and food, but I do think the service experience matters a lot--and this visit didn't quite meet expectations on that front.
