Matcha should be THIS green! We tried the guava li-hing matcha and mango sticky rice matcha, and were highly impressed with the quality and flavor of their ceremonial matcha. Each drink is hand-whisked, so well worth the wait. Their cold foams were delicious and super flavorful as well. I was so excited to try the mango sticky rice matcha, as I hadn't seen this flavor anywhere else. The drink has a creamy salted coconut milk cold foam on top and some mango puree and glutinous rice on the bottom. Once everything was mixed, the mango flavor does get lost unfortunately. But still, the drink was amazing and rich. The guava li-hing matcha was sooo vibrant! I loved how the tropical flavor of the guava cold foam sprinkled with li-hing balanced out the earthy matcha. I've tried other guava matchas with guava puree on the bottom rather than cold foam on top, but I definitely prefer the latter to preserve the matcha flavor. The employees were kind and we came on a weekday afternoon with a short wait. Order at a kiosk. Limited seating inside. When I tried to make it dairy free things went left. I asked for oat milk, which they carry, but was told they couldn't do it because they premake the banana mixture with regular milk. They told me it was just bananas and milk, so naturally I asked if they couldn't just swap the milk? The two counter employees tell me nope, that would be "too difficult" for them. Translation = lazy. So I ordered an oatmilk strawberry matcha instead, which took longer to get than my food order next door. The matcha tasted incredibly watered down and was disappointing. I love getting their durian vietnamese coffee here! The durian has a strong flavor and it goes very well with the coffee. I've been here twice and I've always gotten it! Whether there's a sprawling line for the matchas or a sprinkle of customers on a quiet weekday, the service here has been consistently top tier since I first started coming in summer 2024! Everyone is super nice, accommodating, and even visibly apologetic on crowder days. The amount of times I've been here is astonishing but it really is that good, to me! In my rotation I either get some variation of matcha, pandan milk tea, bơ dầm, or chè sương sa hạt lựu. The pandan milk tea is my favorite and quality has been pretty consistent. The cream top variations on the matchas are pretty solid here and go well with the drinks. I recommend getting honey as the sweetener to really bring out the matcha and let the cream tops take over the sweetness. Bơ dầm is a great sweet treat and is pretty filling! The interior remains the same. It's bright, clean, and aesthetically pleasing with white marble walls and tables. Seating is limited, but I usually just grab and go anyway. Orders can be taken at the front or via self-kiosk. I normally rave about and always order the Avocado Purple Rice drink, but this time I tried the Taro Purple Rice. It did not disappoint! Sometimes there can be a long line to order on the weekends, but it usually moves pretty fast. And be patient when you wait for your drink cause the staff are working really hard to make each drink taste perfectly. Despite how busy they can get, the staff are always welcoming, efficient, and helpful. There's a few tables available for you to sit at but it's a small shop so it can feel claustrophobic when it's busy. I would only suggest sitting and enjoying your drink during non-peak days. Parking in this plaza can be a nightmare during peak hours so sometimes it's best to park a little further away and walk, or you could even park on the street or in the Target plaza next door and walk over. read more

Though there's not much sitting inside, the space is spacious and people typically order from a kiosk. I find that there are older customers who come here and don't know how to use the machine so I did help a lady out, maybe to always have a cashier in the front would be very ideal. I tried their cookie butter matcha and banana matcha from the matcha series and it was delicious -- the banana flavour came through naturally and the cookie butter was so tasty, I've never tried anything like that before! The matcha was well-balanced, and with my preference of "less sweet / less ice" it hit just right. This is by far one of the best drink dessert shops in San Jose that I have had. My best friends wanted to show me this place and this place did NOT disappoint. I got the chance to talk to one of the owners, Richard. He was such a very caring and enthusiastic person. A lot of other shops feel like they don't add care and love into drinks but on the other hand Richard took great care of us and even recommended/gave us phenomenal drinks. Each drink we ordered tasted FANTASTIC. I really think it beats all the other milk tea/matcha places around where I'm from. As a Vietnamese girly from Orange County, I always miss home since I moved to the Bay. San Jose, specifically the Little Saigon area, gives me a little piece of community not too far from me. The pandan drink though made with less sugar was still a bit sweet to me and that was the least sweet they could make.
