Came here before going to work to get a coffee and some pastries for my coworkers. Upon entering around 10am on a weekday, there were a good amount of people sitting inside already. Process here is easy. You enter and on your right side, there are trays, liner papers and tongs for you to use to grab whatever pastries you want. I ended up grabbing some feuillete au chocolat (the twisted sticks with chocolate), the bacon quiche and the curry croquette. After grabbing your desired pastries, you just head to the register to check out and pay. I also added a hazelnut latte with an extra shot of espresso to my order. My coworkers loved and devoured the chocolate twisted sticks! We really enjoyed the bacon quiches too. It exceeded my expectations of what I thought it would taste like. It was savory and fulfilling. The pastries, coffee and tip I included rang up to be $41 total. It was a little pricey compared to 85 degree bakery but they do specialize in various different pastries that 85 doesn't have. read more

Lol no... what was this? The smallest Paris Baguette that ever lived and not much of a selection either. Came through on a Monday morning, grabbed 3 different pastries, and all of them were stale. The complete lack of customers should've been a red flag, but I gave it a shot. Maybe it pops off on the weekends, but weekdays? I was in the area and wanted to get some baked goods. It was also the Tet festival so it was a little hectic. I tried their coffee danish and I recommend it as well as a raspberry almond croissant and chocolate chiffon cake. All pastries were perfect in sweetness and not too sweet. Size and price was reasonable. The cake was $9/slice which seems a little high. Overall quick and easy bakery with outdoor and indoor seating. The cake slice came with a raspberry macaron on top. This differed from the online photo and description which shows a chocolate macron on top. Regardless, the cake was delicious and fluffy while the ganache was rich and creamy. The macaron was also light and flavorful. Cute bakery located in the Grand Century Plaza. Standard cakes, pastries, baked goods, etc. I've been here twice in the last 3 months to pick up birthday cakes. Their cakes are decorative but they also taste good -- not too sweet or too buttery. I had a horrible experience. I ordered a sheet cake for delivery for my wife's birthday. A couple of days before my event, I called to confirm they had my order and that everything was correct. When the delivery arrived I received a 10" round cake. When I called the store all they would tell me was that the bakers made a mistake, they had left at 2pm and there was nothing they could do. After some time on the phone, the only remedy offered was a refund. I had to ask a family member to leave my party and drive to this location to pick up 4 additional round cakes (which I still had to pay for) so I had enough cakes for my guests. I called a week later to speak with the manager, Sarah. After her investigation all she could offer up was an excuse that some changes had been made to the website and that the bakers did not read the order correctly. No empathy for my situation at all, no compensation, nothing. I will NEVER be using this location again nor will I recommend it to others who may think of using Paris Baguette! read more

Whenever I visit Grand Century Mall or Vietnam Town, I always make sure to stop by Paris Baguette! It's right next to the front entrance of Grand Century Mall so you can't miss it. There's lots of variety within their selection of items and the cakes and desserts here are very superb! It's really great to be able to buy a last minute cake here for most occasions. AC really helps with the weather we've been having lately and I feel refreshed and relieved whenever I come into the store. There are also seats inside of the store. I write this review specifically for Destiny since I always happen to see her whenever I visit. Although all customers are very sweet, Destiny is super friendly and greets all customers at the door regardless of whatever task she is doing. She also asks if my day is going good and if I need any help finding things in the store. If I need a recommendation, I can always count on her! I had the Lavender Matcha Frap, not gna lie but this was pretty bomb -- Starbucks has a new competitor in the house. I bought for pastry items. How much cheese, croissant, raspberry, almond, croissant , and chocolate croissant. Unfortunately, the trays were so sticky and I looked through multiple and they're all still sticky so I just used the tongs and the wax paper. When I got up to the front to pay, she said the trays are right there and I told them they're sticky and I said you should clean them and they said we clean them every day apparently not good enough so that's my only complaint. I did not like the pizza slices which were cold and chewy. I requested to warm them but it still tasted bad as it was still cold. But overall great place for cake. I stan Paris Baguette, and the reason why I wanted to write this review was because of the blueberry cake! I got it last time from a different location but that one was dry. This one was so moist and flavorful I couldnt help but write a review on it. We got this for someone's bday and we travelled to two different locations, where it was pushed, hit and flipped over during the car ride. It still tasted good! I always make a point to stop at Paris Baguette when I'm up in San Jose, so when I there last month for my granddaughters 2nd birthday, I called ahead for a cake. Being the week before Christmas, I thought something white would be more wintry, but I thought she'd like the brown Bear Cake better than the seasonal white Bunny Cake. Paris Baguette packaged it perfectly for no possible damage from driving or other movement. She loved it! She and her brother couldn't resist taking a finger swipe of the whipped creamy frosting dusted with cocoa powder. My favorite is their Strawberry Cake, but I now am confident that all their cakes are as light, perfectly made, moist, and with layers of sweet whipped creamy frostings. I never leave without picking up their pastries, savory ham and cheese croissants, or hot dog croissants. Their coffee mochas and lattes are way underrated. My friend graciously grabbed me some yummy desserts last week from Paris Baguette. I have only been to two locations and haven't had sweets from Story road (yet). There is something different about this store! The cake slices are extra moist and the portions are full and well packaged. When she dropped them off I was so shocked at the presentation of the 2 slices. This store adds the powder sugar and I haven't seen that at the other locations. What I ordered: Blueberry slice - wonderful! It was airy, not overly sweet and had a moist cake part. Strawberry slice - mirrors the blueberry slice. 5/5 Tiramisu - I am pretty sure that's the slice my friend grabbed. This was dry and was ok. I thought the edible chocolate spoon was really cool! Overall, feels great to sit and hang around inside for awhile. Long lines form after 1:15 pm. Yes, they often get busy here. Place looks decent, clean & organized. I was craving for a slice of berry chiffon cake with mocha latte, so that's what I got. Love all fruity chiffon cakes at PB. Note, prices have gone up and is now starting at $7.29-$7.99 per piece. I still enjoyed my bites. Mocha latte small size was ok. Beverage still kept very hot. Cashier was quick and efficient. I got my order within 5 minutes of ordering. Nice atmosphere. I just wished that the place would be much larger because it did feel a bit narrow & crowded inside. Seats & tables are usually taken. I usually eat the rainbow layered cake, but maybe I'll try it next time. Donuts looked good too. Unfortunately, I didn't plan on eating another 600-800 calories here today.
