I've been waiting to try this spot for a long time. Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Taste on the majority of the donuts were the best I've tasted in the area. The donuts were fresh, airy, with a slight crispiness which came through even with frosting and glaze on top. The only reason why I had to deduct a star was because the texture of the boston creme was off. The donut tasted grainy for some reason..and I bought 3 of them! Still my go-to donut shop in town after 2 years. This place is super busy on Friday mornings, but that's a good sign these days, right? I notice a couple changes: 1) price has gone up slightly: 2) some small tables and chairs are added for people to eat breakfast inside. They were out of my favorite Maple Bacon bar due to the morning rush, but the female cashier was nice enough to make me one (by putting bacon bits on the maple bar). I'm pretty sure she gave me extra bacon. YAY!! Also got my hubby's favorite per his request, Apple Fritter. It was a bit oily today, but didn't stop me from eating a quarter of his on my way home. Also got a croissant for my baby, which was pretty big but nothing special. Tip: Bring cash to avoid credit card charge. read more

I decided to give Happy Donuts another chance. I ordered the night before so the donuts would be delivered early and fresh to our door. I used Ubereats again, which the hand off delivery was fine, and arrived in time for breakfast. I did give them an extra star because not all of the donuts were bad, and they finally gave me the donuts I ordered correctly. Only reason they didn't deserve more stars, was because the main reason I ordered was for their chocolate French crullers. Four of us took a bite just to taste, because looking at the crullers, you can tell it was dry, and hardly any chocolate on top!!! I've had French crullers since the 80s from different states, mainly L.A. area. I went twice in the early morning. Donuts were fresh and service was minimal but nice. Price is ok. I only suggest that they wait for the donuts to cool down before coating it in icing or the donuts wont get coated properly. read more

I first had these shortly after moving to Seattle. One of my coworkers brought us a dozen and they were very good. They are very fresh and soft. They also do not have that super sugary taste like some donuts. These are well balanced. I like the Bavarian ones, but do think they could use more custard. The raspberry filled one is delicious also. I recently tried the apple fritter and that was yummy. I warmed mine for 20 seconds in the microwave and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for some good donuts. They have all of the basic flavors/varieties that you could think of. They will last about 2 days if wrapped up properly, but will vary based on your temperature inside your home. The employee was very nice and was wearing their mask as it should be worn. read more

This is a little Moms & Pops donut shop. There isn't a big variety however they are delicious. I would hands down stop here first before considering stopping at a grocery store for donuts. They are very friendly, patient and helpful. My daughter isn't a big cake fan and loves donuts so I decided to stop by so I can make her a donut tower in the afternoon as her birthday so call cake. I usually stop by early morning before work (6am) so usually they aren't crazy busy then and there's a variety still available. They also have coffee and drinks available. I've been here a few times, and just have not ever got around to leaving a review, but since I've now used this place several times for my awesome crew, I feel some recognition is deserved. I absolutely LOVE the fact that they're open at 4:00am and that I am able to enter the shop with fresh donuts for the team. What I love even more is the selection and assortments of donuts I get to choose from. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share but promise you I will on my next visit. There's something timeless about a donut shop that does things the old fashioned way instead of letting the machines mass produce. For starters, I'm always greeted when I walk in. I love great customer service so that's huge for me. The donuts taste like small circles of joy. Not too much sugar to coat them but just enough to start the morning off right. I've been there late morning (10-11 am) and they still have a decent selection but you can tell if you got there a bit earlier, there'd be a lot more. I was pleased to see that the counter space had been covered and guarded for COVID safety measures. I got a dozen donuts and the total came out to be roughly $12. This place is awesome! I came here around 7am on a Saturday and there was still a big selection! I choose to select a dozen and customized it. I had a maple and chocolate bar, apple fritter, maple and chocolate buttermilk bar, cinnamon twist, creme filled donut, maple and chocolate old fashioned, 2 regular glazed donuts and a chocolate glazed donut. They were all very delicious! I wasn't into the buttermilk bars but the original person that requested it enjoyed it :) the creme filled was sooooo good!! I'll definitely get more of that!
