I was a walk in on a weekday around 2pm. I was able to get an hour signature massage. It seems clean and newly renovated. There is a couple of backlot parking and street parking. I could see it being hard to find parking on the weekends perhaps, just something to keep in mind. They first soak your feet and start with your neck and shoulders on each side. It helps to wear loose clothing so you can roll up the sleeves, etc. Then the arms, hands, and a fair amount of time spent on the feet and legs, which was heavenly for this 8 month pregnant lady. The Vibe & Setup If you're looking for a private, candle-lit spa room, this isn't quite that. The back area is a large, open floor plan divided by curtains, with two beds per section. A heads-up for first-timers: this is a "clothes-on" massage. It was my first time at a spot like that, which was a bit of a surprise! The Massage Quality The experience started with a nice soak, but the actual massage left something to be desired: - Zero Communication: My therapist didn't check in once to ask how I was doing or if the pressure was to my liking. - Pressure Was Too Light: I personally prefer a firmer touch, and this felt very "surface level." I walked in with a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, and unfortunately, I walked out feeling that same stress. - The Highlight: I will say my feet felt significantly better afterward! This review is for my experience on Monday, 4/27/2026. Let me start by saying I have been to happy feet massage multiple, multiple times over the years and I have enjoyed every single time. I moved away and one of the things that I left behind was happy feet, it just wasn't doable for me to drive all the way over from the other side of town. I'm now back on this side of town and decided I have stop in . I've never been a pop in $25 bucks for a rub down and see you later. Kind of customer.. I'm the 90 minute $90 + $30 tip guy. So when I walked in on Monday around 4 PM, I was greeted by I think the owner, an older gentleman. the greeter didn't seem to recognize me but no big deal. I complimented how the place looked nice since I was last there, renovations looked really nice -very spa like.. He quickly asked me what did I want? I told him I would take a 90 minute. I was asked if I preferred male or female, I didn't care because I've never cared as long as I get a quality massage which I was always guaranteed that with Happy feet. The greeter used a walkie-talkie to call someone -which by this time I was heading to the bathroom, and I actually ran into the person who I soon realized was the person doing my massage. Now look, I don't give a rats ass if you can speak good English or not, you're there to do a job make a living, and I'm there to get a service. But I was really, really confused on this guy's approach to me. Typically, they soak your feet -do some shoulder head massage , then the feet- it's like a routine - that's what I was expecting. I had a completely opposite experience and it really threw me. It was so confusing, the guy had to go get the owner or the gentleman that brought me in to kind of figure out what it was I wanted. It turned out to be this kind of like tense moment that didn't need to be.. After 90 minutes, so, they say, I was not escorted to the front given some water or little tea like they normally do. I was just like pointed towards the door.. The owner / gentleman, my initial contact said how was it and I couldn't hold back. I felt he needed to know.. I told him it was very uncomfortable. It was very chaotic very sporadic, very disorganized massage and I actually felt more pain leaving that I did coming in. He looks at and said, " I'm sorry that'll be $90." I was like what the pluck! This was an opportunity for this man to correct what he knew was wrong, but he chose not to. The least he could've done was said I'm going charge you for a 60 minute versus the 90 minute. Knowing that I have been there multiple multiple multiple times, he offered no resolution to one of the most uncomfortable massages I've ever experienced in his business. I walked out of there, not wanting to slam happy feet because they've been there a while. I've always enjoyed them. But after letting this simmer for 24 hours, I cannot move on without saying something. I spent $90 plus a $20 tip for the worst massage I have ever experienced, at a place that I would've recommended you to. Happy feet you didn't lose anything but a customer. I wish you well! My feet did not leave happy but definitely wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I only decided to try this place due to the good reviews recently and it was in the area I was going to be around. Scheduled an appointment the day prior. Theres street parking right up front the sidewalk. I did turn into the small lot at first but noticed everything was for other businesses so I stuck to street parking. Arrived inside and the ambiance was very calming and quiet. Was immediately greeted by a gentleman at the counter and asked me what massage I wanted. I opted for the 60 min signature which is a combo of body and feet. Immediately took me to the back and there are 2 massage beds shared per curtain area for privacy. Wasn't even given an option to take my clothes off so that was very questionable. I had a male masseuse and he spoke great English. I had to ask him 3 times to go lighter. Massage started with a feet soak and a head massage. Already I was thrown off by the entire process as I still had clothes on even during my shoulder, back and leg massage. My feet massage felt more like fondling/playing with my toes and lots of rubbing on my shin. It was also warm inside the shop and they had a blanket covering my body when my clothes are fully on. Eventually I can feel my palms sweat and the masseuse hands sweat which just built more friction and uncomfortable twisting of my skin. It was even more painful when he had me rotate to my stomach for my back massage and I'm wearing jean shorts that just made the entire experience very uncomfortable. Fabulous foot reflexology. Felt like I was walking on a cloud after I left...and was so relaxed! I want to see if I can do this every week! Love, love, love it! Yes, like the other reviewers are saying there are curtains between the bays and not separate rooms, and indeed you leave your clothes on. You lie back, and they cover you with a blanket. I'm always cold so I love that. Then they soak your feet in warm water while they massage head and neck. Make sure you have pants that you can shove up to bare your calves. After neck massage they do the feet, drying them with a towel and wrapping one foot while they do the other. Very thorough, feels like longer than 30 min total. I felt reborn! read more

Worst experience for quite an expensive massage. My kids could have done a better job. It was repetitive and painful in the wrong way. I should have gotten up and left after the first 15 minutes. But had some aches and was willing to see if the masseuse would improve. Sparing the long list of what was specifically wrong with the massage I will just say there was zero consideration of variation to the point that by the end my lower back was in severe pain. When I went to pay (in my head I was never coming back), they wanted me to pay the full amount again! So $180 when I got there and another $180 when I left. They didn't believe me and when I showed the person at the desk the charge on my phone, she ripped the phone out of my hand said: "no, no, no no, nah." Yea, I am not kidding. At that point I said, "you should know that this is the most ridiculous scene and in addition it was the worst massage I've ever had." Then they said ok you paid for service l, but not for tip. I have them my card for a $20 tip to end the scene and left. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. As you know, there are plenty of other places out there....ones without so many problems. Let me put it this way... When I die there are three things I'd like to find in heaven on the outside chance I make it to the pearly gates. The best fried chicken ever, my own grass Tennis Court, and happy feet massage. I am a professional tennis coach and a dog owner. I am on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day. Back in January I developed plantars fasciitis. I've never had that kind of trouble with my feet in the past. I went to urgent care at one point and the doctor looked at my foot asked me a couple of questions and 30 seconds later wrote me a prescription for pain pills but without a refill. His advice was to buy $400 orthopedic shoes and this is true, roll my foot on a frozen bottle of water. That ain't gonna happen. The bottle slips, the pills are deadly and my patience are thin. A month ago I went to my old friends at happy feet out of sheer frustration. I didn't tell the massage therapist I had a problem. I want to see what she might find. Oddly enough she started with her thumb pressing between my eyebrows and I was instantly at ease. To my chagrin she actually put me to sleep and I was only awakened when I started to snore. Mortified! When I did wake up I was able to walk. That continued for a month. It's now been a month and four days. I went back a few days ago to have my neck and lower back taken care of. This massage place though gives a solid experience that I've been able to count on. It's $30 for a clothes-on one-hour massage. Expect a fairly aggressive routine massage. Make sure to tell your therapist the areas you want to avoid, and be ready to tell them twice and point to the area because most don't speak English (mainland Chinese from what I can deduce.) First time getting a massage and wasn't sure what to expect, and this place not the best choice. Yes It was great that they accept walk ins, but not privacy at all for your massage session. I paid for 1 hour and it first it was ok, but when my massage guy got to my back he put alot of weight on me with his arm. At first I thought ok maybe it had purpose and i thought he would use his hands too, but he didnt. Then just like that it was over and i went in hoping to have some back relief and left with some pain. I thought it was normal, but when my back hurt for 5 days straight after, I knew it was just bad. I would not return, don't recommend. Came here with the Groupon option of a Cinnamon foot soak with full body massage/reflexology. FYI parking in the back has been raised to $4 flat rate. It was interesting because the place is a nail salon when you first walk in and the massage is in the back. The person at the desk is not friendly (as other reviews mentioned). He was very matter of fact and took us to a common room with beds partitioned off by curtains on stands. The massage is with clothes on like other foot reflexology places. I had my feet placed in a foot soak with warm liquid (which honestly didn't smell like cinnamon to me..so i have no idea if I even got that but oh well), and I laid on my back. My masseuse put towels over me as blankets and started to massage my head. I want to first put a disclaimer that I have been to multiple foot massages in the SGV and I wouldn't come back for a variety of reasons I will list below. Otherwise, the sequence of massage was similar to other places. Don't get me wrong that the massage didn't relax me..but definitely not as much as some other places. I actually wanted to laugh in between (and not because my feet were ticklish or anything). Head: This was more like she was combing my hair with her fingers kind of like when I get my hair washed at a hair salon. There was some massaging and pressure points pressed which was fine. Then she stuck her fingers in my ears for a second and I was like..umm ok. I'm not sure how that contributed to my relaxation. Neck: It was pretty light but still relaxing I guess. Arms: I could mostly just feel her thumbs pressing down my arm in a row multiple times. It didn't seem like her palm strength was hard enough...and she would start pressing her thumb at my armpits everytime she started a new row which was a bit awkward. I also felt my hand rest at the fold of her abdomen and thigh...which was a bit awkward but ok. Legs/feet: Feet took a good portion of the massage and it was decent. The part I didn't like was that the towel seemed old and rough, because when she was drying my feet I definitely noticed the roughness. I liked that this place puts lotion on the feet then another lotion that warms up (that was nice). Back: I turned over and she put towels over me again and smoothed out the towel from my head to back. She might have gone a bit too far and her finger slid maybe through my towel/clothes into my crack..which was awkward. There really didn't seem to be a systematic way she was massaging my back. It wasn't like the right side then left side. It was random and sometimes my arms were by my sides then she moved them to drape over the sides of the bed but not at the same time. The most AWKWARD part was (I think because she had a larger abdomen)...when she was massaging my back while standing at the head of the bed and leaning over..I COULD FEEL HER ABDOMEN PRESSING ON MY HEAD. Luckily my head was down. Also the whole backside portion of the massage..a majority was at my hips/butt. I was not used to this being the focus of a back massage but ok. Lastly, I got another dry head wash or comb through on the back of my head. And then that was it! I was handed a styrofoam cup of cold water. The end.
