Have been their customer since 2004. The best tasting Chinese food is my opinion. I highly recommend.

On this last visit, a server I have her many times stopped when she saw me and checked up with me since she hasn't seen me in a while. I am also a an observer of the world around me since I tend to dine out alone more now and I watch the interactions and everyone is constantly on the move checking on not only their tables but eachothers as well. It's so refreshing to see that kind of customer service. Food quality is always important to me and I have always had consistent meals. I love the seasonal offerings, my favorite is the blueberry lemon cornbread when it comes around in the winter/spring and I'm so happy I'm here for it on the final day. All of these reasons are why I keep coming back.

Did I like my sandwich, I hated it. I took a few bites of the bread, and it subsequently fell apart. This was all because it was stale. Needless to say, after three bites, I had to eat it without bread. If First Watch is your thing, then feel free to eat here. But, as someone that has never been a fan, the continued reason why I keep from being a fan is for reasons like this.

Thanks to Yelp! I was able to find a restaurant to fulfill my craving for some delicious ribs in…read morethe area! I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.

Lindsay gets a special shout-out for being kind, caring, and attentive! What a ray of sunshine! She was so excited when she arrived with my dessert (she made a brownie sundae just for me). It was everything you would want in a sweet treat. A perfectly warm brownie and cold vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream just hits, and they do it right! 2. The. Meats. Were. GREAT. I got the sampler sliders and my boyfriend got the sampler platter. The slider buns were perfect and even toasted a bit which added major bonus points for me. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Brisket was peppery and perfect. Ribs were also veryyyy tenderrrrrr. You can tell the food is made with love. All I could do was smile as I ate my lunch, knowing I have an amazing bbq spot so close to me. 3. The corn nuggets were SO GOOD and SO comforting. Crispy, sweet, and perfect. I eyed the menu before going, and these caught my eye immediately. They did not disappoint. I can't wait to have them again! 4. The sauces were FIRE. The sweet and the crimson were perfect to us. 5. Who doesn't like 80s Rock and Roll?! Its one of those places that make you feel at home. The location is perfect, as well. Lakefront is a great place to dily dally while you digest the deliciousness. Rock on, Big John!!

For a simple meal for two people, the service was unreasonably slow throughout the evening. Our server, Svet, was polite and personable, but friendliness alone could not make up for the delays. The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. He immediately noticed something was wrong after taking a sip and handed it to me. I tasted it as well and confirmed that it contained alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to eat and far from what was described. Management apologized and removed the steak from the bill, but the combination of excessive wait times, the alcohol mix-up involving a minor, and the disappointing entrée left a poor overall impression.

The fries were also cold and hard, so that side definitely missed the mark. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but it also was not one that would make me rush back. The restaurant seemed understaffed. there were only one waiter and waitress working the entire time we were there. I would not try again.
