Weeknight boba! No line but parking is tough in the small lot they have. Had to order with the staff instead of the 2 kiosks or online because one of us doesn't want boba and boba comes with the drink. They have a promotion right now for a free cup if you download the app. They also had cute Valentine's Day sleeves for the cups. Happy lemon is always great! Make sure to sign up so you can earn a free drink.

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The place was not very busy. Store was neat and well organized. Boba milk tea with puff cream was my drink. It was a nice drink. I went for 25% ice, I should have gone for a bit more. Chocolate waffle was delicious. There were kids books to read, which was nice. Nobody was reading though.

so good! I took my 2 littles to grab a fun drink and waffle. The kids shared a strawberry shortcake smoothie with Boba and they loved it! no caffeine! We also ordered an Oreo waffle and OMG it was so good. warm and crisp with a puff filling. the service was also great. They were happy to accommodate splitting the drink into 2 cups for my young kids. They also have board games and books in store which makes it a fun experience

Egg waffle was standard and tasty, crispy exterior with soft chewy interior. The chocolate flavor was pretty good, reminded me of a brownie. The drink (house thai tea) was pretty disappointing, so watered down and basically tasted like watery creamer :( No tea flavor at all. Get the waffles here but skip the watery drinks.

I like Happy Lemon a lot. It's a good safe option for me. I like the creaminess of their milk teas. If it's earlier in the day I get the regular boba milk tea with no sugar, otherwise I get the jasmine milk tea with boba. This time I went my boba was a tiny bit overcooked (not that chewy) but I still drank it anyway! Hopefully they're a bit more chewy next time. They have magnetic Scrabble which is pretty fun!

Mango sago has grapefruit but isn't listed or they just messed up my drink and added it in

Love the app so I can order for pickup and save time. Bonus is buy 10 drinks and get one for free via the app. So far the 2 I have gotten I was able to change it to 50% sweet but my daughters lemon slushy didn't have that option. Today I order a mango sago at 50% with egg pudding but tell me why there were chunks or grapefruit mixed into my drink?!? I wish this ingredient was label into my drink order. It is a some what bitter fruit to have surprise you in your drink .

New boba shop at Belmont. This is the newest Happy Lemon at Bay Area. It has buy one get one on Feb 22nd and Feb 23rd 12 PM To 8 pm. It is grand opening day. Line was not long when we arrived at around 3 pm. Youbcan order using the touch screen or order with the cashier. To order via the kiosk, you have to create account via Happy Lemon app. You don't need it if you order with cashier. All drink is bogo. Interesting is any second one you order is free regardless if it is more expensive than the first order. Wait time will be a while as there are many orders.

    Busy this grand opening weekend!

New Happy Lemon in Belmont! Plenty of easy, strip mall parking. Two self order kiosks or place order with cashier (available but less obvious until I noticed another customer do it). Kiosk was a bit glitchy, and required membership to get the BOGO deal. Fortunately, I love Happy Lemon since my first sip in Taipei and am a member, of course! 5 different types of bubble waffle here as well as their usual drinks. Four tables and seats available for groups at this location. It's grand opening weekend so drinks took awhile and staff was busy but friendly. The happy lemon app doesn't recognize this location yet, as of 2/22/25 nor does GPS for that matter. Address is 850 Emmett Ave. I learned about the grand opening from their Instagram.

I love getting the grapefruit yakult from happy lemon, the right sweetness and it's not watered down. I love the kid friendly environment here at this location, comic section area, with tons of board games set up, and magnetic scrabbles and checkers. It was easy to order on the kiosk and the staff was very fast. Got my drink within 5 minutes.

Came in 2nd or 3rd day of opening. I was the only one in there except for two other small parties that followed shortly after. Ordered two drinks but had a problem with only one, A2. Black Tea with salted cheese w/ boba added also shown in the photo. No cheese foam and no boba in my drink. I don't go to happy lemon often but I wanted to get something for my partner and her drink was fine. I did not know that the different tops would indicate cheese foam or not. Disappointed when they weren't busy and messed up my order.

Came on 2nd day of grand opening. Very good location. However, Parking was hard. Super narrow for SUV car. STORE: Store decor is super simple. All white with little of yellow. Furniture are clustered with different pieces from different set. Only 2 laminated menu. Super sticky, and dirty. DRINK: No Milk tea available T_T. Self order kiosk were off. Menu is very limited. End up Ordered 4 drinks. 1. Roasted oolong tea with salted cheese: tea super watery. Salted cheese very liquidy. 2. Mango green tea with mango boba: tea super watery, all syrup. Boba was hard. 3. Lemon green tea kumquat: all syrup is in the bottom. Super sour. They forgot to shake?? 4. Mango matcha smoothie: the best of the rest but quality still ehh. Service: super quick. They don't have togo bag. The only bag that they can provide is the vegetable bag in grocery super market. :( Might back to try milk tea. But not for all the drinks above.

Boba milk tea with puff cream

Delicious boba tea, great location and warm, welcoming staff! What's not to love!!?! They just opened and I am not sure the people of Belmont have quite registered them yet. They are located right across Panda Express close to the Safeway on El Camino. Very convenient location- lots of parking nearby and you can easily weave this into your grocery run. Service was pleasant, quick and I was in and out in under a few minutes. They have a few tables if you want to hang around and enjoy stuff on location too. And best of all... their bubble waffle!! Sssooo good!! A delightful addition to Belmont!

The shop itself is small, and there is only one ordering kiosk. There are no bathrooms available, but the singular staff member told me that I could use the bathrooms at Peet's next door. There's not much in terms of ambiance, as it seems that it's expected you take your drink to go. I went with the jasmine matcha. I liked that there was an option for oat milk without any surcharge. Even though there was only one worker, my drink was made quickly. However, it was also the middle of the day on a weekday, so I was one of only two patrons. I'm not sure what matcha they use at Tea Hut, but I liked the flavor, and the jasmine tea was nice and florally too. Overall it was a well-balanced drink and quite refreshing for the unseasonably warm March day. I will be back to try other drinks if I'm ever in the area again.

The host was very friendly and explained that once we were ready to order, we could head to the register in the back. After placing our order for a group of four, our drinks arrived within just a few minutes. They looked exactly like the menu descriptions and tasted just as good. The food was fresh, hot, and clearly made with quality ingredients. We all especially loved the tomato soup. We also ordered a waffle to share as an appetizer, and it came topped with large, beautiful strawberries that tasted amazing. The portion size was generous. I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella sandwich on ciabatta bread and asked for it toasted, and it was phenomenal. I did not have very high expectations since this was a quick, last minute choice and we did not even check reviews beforehand, but I am so glad we gave it a try. My first time here but my girlfriend who was visiting from Texas has eaten here recently while flying through to see her brother. This place very close to SFO airport so a great place to have breakfast Brunch or Lunch before picking up or dropping off at SFO as only 12 to 15 min based on traffic. THE FOOD: Cortado 10/10, Ice Tea 9/10 Flat White 8/10 (from Australian in our foursome) Hot Chocolate 9/10 Mixed salad Amazing. Soft boiled eggs perfectly cooked and balsamic on point. They have great sourdough served with delicious jam. We also had the prosciutto fig and goat cheese which was 10/10 and our friend from Texas enjoyed her GF Sammie. Husband had the Tuna Melt which he said 9/10 only because of the bread, he said 10 if he's had it on the acme sourdough ;-) Next time... The Place: Great location with lots of parking but not this past Sunday as huge event in town but in general loads of street and lot parking near by. Quaint seating inside and outside seating on both sides of this corner location. You order inside and seating is first come first serve so I imagine depending on the time of day it could be hard for any groups over 4 Employee Interaction: Super until the last person we interacted with. You order inside and they bring stuff out as made which is just the nature of busy brunch place. For example we had food come out in staggered spurts which is what you expect so as a example our friend who ordered first (10 min before us ) got her fig Sammie first but we got half our drinks first. Our food was staggered over a 15 min period also very expected at this type of brunch place. The problem came when the lady would brought the last food item the GF item and she said hey are we missing anything and I said yes my cortado and friend who ordered 10 min before we did so half and hour ago said she never got her hot coco. She was Super polite and brought them pretty quickly . We said thanks for finding them for us and she lectured us on how busy they are etc etc and were like WHOA THERE we did not complain although my friend could have as he drink came after she had eaten and 30 min after she ordered and yet we never complained. My complaint is with this staff members attitude, and I "assume" it came from dealing with folks expecting the food or drinks to all come out at same time and thats not how these types of places work. WE GET THAT and again it would have been a 5 had we not been lectured after thanking her for hunting down our drinks ;-) Will I be back SURE the food was great

Service is fast. Not a lot of seating inside, but there are a couple additional small tables for 2-4 people outside on the patio. Chose the cheapest item on the menu, which was the taro ube sago for $7.95 before tax. Honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up taro ube sago, so at best, I'd say it only meets the standard. It was more of a dessert soup than a pudding, which is what I expected. Serving size definitely way too small for the portion amount, even if you say the glass jar itself costs ~$2 (and that feels like a generous estimate). I've made an entire pot of taro sago that served 15 people that cost about $8 in raw ingredients. Personally don't see the value in coming back, but if you're looking for Chinese desserts in a pinch, then this place does the job.

Pretty much everything on the menu is good here. If there's something that sounds interesting, get it. If you've been curious about spaghetti dishes at southern Chinese restaurants, get one. The General's Chicken is actually insanely good here, like the best lunch special I know anywhere, and it's General's Chicken. Hainan chicken, salt and pepper spare ribs, rice clay pots, eggplant dishes, and even Chinese curry are items I commonly see ordered around me. The tofu seafood claypot is fantastic. Pretty sure they have Peking spareribs and they were great iirc. The chow fun dishes are only good, not super exceptional, you rarely see people order them. Alright the few things I've noticed that could be improved have all happened when I come closer to closing than opening. We also decided to try a couple of things we had never ordered before after seeing other tables enjoy them. The beef chow fun looked amazing when we saw someone else order it, so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The noodles were on the dry side and lacked the flavorful wok hei and savory taste that I usually look for in a good beef chow fun. It was just missing that something special. We also ordered the Chinese chicken salad because we wanted something lighter to balance out the meal. I was expecting the traditional shredded chicken with lettuce, but instead it came with thin tortilla-style chips underneath. That really changed the whole feel of the dish for me. I was hoping for a refreshing salad, but the chips made it feel more greasy, and the mustard oil dressing was not really my preference. The chicken was also a little dry. I probably would not order this again. The good news is the salt and pepper spare ribs were still delicious, just like we expected. They remain one of our favorites here. Overall, I would stick with the dishes we already know and love and skip the beef chow fun and chicken salad next time.
