Tea biscuit & jam and lavender.

We got a single scoop of tea biscuits & jam and lavender. Really good and creamy! Will come back to try the other flavors.

    Afternoon tea and Cream tea

Mom, sis, and I love to get together for afternoon tea, so we were excited to find out Jolly's has a weekend afternoon tea menu. We also thought the idea was interesting to have afternoon tea when they serve tea inspired ice creams . . . makes sense. Called and made reservations easily enough. There are only a few tables, so reservations are probably highly recommended. Pretty tableware. Afternoon tea (2 scones, 4 finger sandwiches, ice cream flight, and a pot of tea) = $50. Although it was a big pot of tea and the sandwiches tasted fresh, for me, the price was high for what it was. The scones were on the smaller side, so $20 for Cream Tea (2 scones and a pot of tea) was a bit much. Also, I know it mentioned "finger" sandwiches but the portions, overall, seemed on the smaller side for the price. I'd maybe return for the ice cream as I really liked the Tea Biscuits and Jam one.

Cute ice cream shop with an old school vibe. They have a variety of tea infused ice cream flavors and a few non-caffeinated options as well. Went on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking in the lot next door. Got the flight of 8 flavors to share among 3 people and it was just right. There's so many flavors to choose from -- some of my faves were the earl grey, pistachio, strawberry, and lavender. Service was friendly and they let us try a few flavors beforehand too. Ample seating indoors as well. Would come again!

Ambiance: Jolly's is a small ice cream parlor in a refurbished house with both indoors and outdoors seating where you can get various ice cream, slices of premade desserts, and various add-ons to your ice cream. Unlike traditional ice cream parlors, Jolly's has more tea inspired flavors for those seeking a more adventurous take on ice cream. Service: The man who works at Jolly's is very friendly and quick to provide service. Wait time: Not busy in the mid day / early afternoon on a weekday but I can see being more busy during the weekends or later into the weekday. Ice Cream: The vanilla Matcha had the taste of homemade vanilla with a subtle green tea flavor that tasted refreshing but left me wanting a bit more of the earthy flavor you get from matcha. Price wise, it does feel a tad expensive at $6.50 for a scoop but again more unique in the flavors compared to a traditional ice cream parlor. They do offer a flight that is a tad more expensive but lets you try various flavors if that is something you are interested in and wondered what a variety of teas would taste like in an ice cream form. Overall, definitely a unique Ice Cream parlor bringing a refreshing twist to sweet treats in Belmont and definitely at least worth trying once.

I was so excited to hear Jolly's opened a new shop! I'd always spot his truck while driving through the Peninsula but somehow missed the pop-ups, so it's great to see him in a permanent space. The quality is incredible, and the tea-infused flavors are such a fun, unique touch. I tried the flight. Just wish the portions were just a bit bigger, but it's a great way to discover your favorite. The ice cream tastes exactly like the titles! Flavors are vibrant! It doesn't get any more artisan than this. There's plenty of indoor seating and a really charming afternoon tea offering, too.

This place is new and looks like in a house. This was a cute place. The service was great. The ice cream had different and interspersed flavors. It's pretty good. I'll try other flavors.

The location is a bit random, but street parking was easy to find. There are both seats indoor and outdoor, so it's pet friendly. Loved the rose and pistachio flavor! My partner enjoyed the Victorian fog too. They also do high tea (afternoon tea). The two workers here today were both very kind and patient while we made our choices.

I love the idea of this place! I like that it's open late, inside is cute, and the owner was friendly. This is definitely an ice cream shop that I'll come back to during the summer (just has those vibes). The ice cream was impressive. I tried a few flavors and was pleasantly surprised at all the different options. Some flavors had a stronger tea flavor and some not enough. But the owner seemed like he had done his research on teas which is why there are so many options! The texture of the ice cream is thick & chewy (my favorite). My main complaint is the price vs. portion. It was quite pricey for a mini scoop (which is way too small to enjoy in my opinion haha), so I think that needs some adjusting!

Rose pistachio & orange cardamom chai, earl grey and victorian fog

Being a lover of tea I've had my eye on Jolly's for a bit, I was excited to finally try it out. The exterior and interior are both charming. This is a cute little shop with an old town feel. Jolly's has a decent variety of ice cream flavors but it didn't quite scratch the itch for me. I had earl grey & victorian fog and my partner had rose pistachio & orange cardamom chai. Of the four flavors, orange cardamom chai was probably my favorite. Rose pistachio didn't have any tea flavor and I found it a bit underwhelming. Earl grey and victorian fog were pretty good but too similar, I should have tried something else over one or the other. No complaints! Cute shop, decent ice cream. Open late which is nice. I do hope they incorporate other tea flavors in the future like hojicha.

Wow! I'm so glad their signage is huge because this place caught my eye as we drove by! I looked this place up on Yelp and thought, what a cool concept to have tea infused flavors in ice cream. We made a u-turn at 8:30PM to check this place out! It looks like they converted an old trailer into this cute shop. The shop has a bunch of seating for customers (must get busy??). The flavors are so unique! I tried: rose pistachio, chocolate smoke, and tea, biscuit and jam. I ordered a scoop of the TBJ ($6.50). So yummy! The tea flavor was comforting, the biscuit was like a cake version of biscoff and the jam was light! Such a great combo. I'd definitely come back and maybe buy a pint the next time I'm here. Apparently they also switch out flavors occasionally too!

A hidden ice cream shop by a lot of auto shops. A little house with parking which is good. Little house is very cute. Decorate are nice and about ice cream looks clean have a few tables. They offer tea set for weekends. Lady in front let me try a few favors and decided to Earl Grey and Rose Pistachio and Husband got Tea, Biscuits and Jam. I also liked the Southern Sweet Tea with Lemon Sorbet it tasted like iced Arnold Palmer. Will go back to try more favor.

Such a fun concept! It's a tea and ice cream shop where all of the ice creams are tea flavored or inspired (London fog, rose, etc.) The ice cream is made in house and has a nice texture. The flavors in my London fog ice cream werent super powerful but were very nice no less. I found portions to be quite small for the price point though. It's very cute inside. It feels old timey and whimsy. Nice spot to check out! I hope they correct the portion to price ratio because this place is such a good concept and otherwise a total gem!

I absolutely love Jolly's, so when it came time to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday, I knew I had to reach out to Jason for catering--and I'm so glad I did! We ordered the salmon, cucumber, chicken salad, PB&J, and egg salad, and every single one was a hit. They were so delicious that they disappeared almost immediately! Our guests couldn't stop raving about them. On top of that, the presentation was stunning--perfectly suited for the tea party theme. I would wholeheartedly recommend this for any tea-themed party or special occasion! I also love the ice cream flavors and am a huge fan of the entire shop.

The shop itself is small, and there is only one ordering kiosk. There are no bathrooms available, but the singular staff member told me that I could use the bathrooms at Peet's next door. There's not much in terms of ambiance, as it seems that it's expected you take your drink to go. I went with the jasmine matcha. I liked that there was an option for oat milk without any surcharge. Even though there was only one worker, my drink was made quickly. However, it was also the middle of the day on a weekday, so I was one of only two patrons. I'm not sure what matcha they use at Tea Hut, but I liked the flavor, and the jasmine tea was nice and florally too. Overall it was a well-balanced drink and quite refreshing for the unseasonably warm March day. I will be back to try other drinks if I'm ever in the area again.

The host was very friendly and explained that once we were ready to order, we could head to the register in the back. After placing our order for a group of four, our drinks arrived within just a few minutes. They looked exactly like the menu descriptions and tasted just as good. The food was fresh, hot, and clearly made with quality ingredients. We all especially loved the tomato soup. We also ordered a waffle to share as an appetizer, and it came topped with large, beautiful strawberries that tasted amazing. The portion size was generous. I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella sandwich on ciabatta bread and asked for it toasted, and it was phenomenal. I did not have very high expectations since this was a quick, last minute choice and we did not even check reviews beforehand, but I am so glad we gave it a try. My first time here but my girlfriend who was visiting from Texas has eaten here recently while flying through to see her brother. This place very close to SFO airport so a great place to have breakfast Brunch or Lunch before picking up or dropping off at SFO as only 12 to 15 min based on traffic. THE FOOD: Cortado 10/10, Ice Tea 9/10 Flat White 8/10 (from Australian in our foursome) Hot Chocolate 9/10 Mixed salad Amazing. Soft boiled eggs perfectly cooked and balsamic on point. They have great sourdough served with delicious jam. We also had the prosciutto fig and goat cheese which was 10/10 and our friend from Texas enjoyed her GF Sammie. Husband had the Tuna Melt which he said 9/10 only because of the bread, he said 10 if he's had it on the acme sourdough ;-) Next time... The Place: Great location with lots of parking but not this past Sunday as huge event in town but in general loads of street and lot parking near by. Quaint seating inside and outside seating on both sides of this corner location. You order inside and seating is first come first serve so I imagine depending on the time of day it could be hard for any groups over 4 Employee Interaction: Super until the last person we interacted with. You order inside and they bring stuff out as made which is just the nature of busy brunch place. For example we had food come out in staggered spurts which is what you expect so as a example our friend who ordered first (10 min before us ) got her fig Sammie first but we got half our drinks first. Our food was staggered over a 15 min period also very expected at this type of brunch place. The problem came when the lady would brought the last food item the GF item and she said hey are we missing anything and I said yes my cortado and friend who ordered 10 min before we did so half and hour ago said she never got her hot coco. She was Super polite and brought them pretty quickly . We said thanks for finding them for us and she lectured us on how busy they are etc etc and were like WHOA THERE we did not complain although my friend could have as he drink came after she had eaten and 30 min after she ordered and yet we never complained. My complaint is with this staff members attitude, and I "assume" it came from dealing with folks expecting the food or drinks to all come out at same time and thats not how these types of places work. WE GET THAT and again it would have been a 5 had we not been lectured after thanking her for hunting down our drinks ;-) Will I be back SURE the food was great

Pretty much everything on the menu is good here. If there's something that sounds interesting, get it. If you've been curious about spaghetti dishes at southern Chinese restaurants, get one. The General's Chicken is actually insanely good here, like the best lunch special I know anywhere, and it's General's Chicken. Hainan chicken, salt and pepper spare ribs, rice clay pots, eggplant dishes, and even Chinese curry are items I commonly see ordered around me. The tofu seafood claypot is fantastic. Pretty sure they have Peking spareribs and they were great iirc. The chow fun dishes are only good, not super exceptional, you rarely see people order them. Alright the few things I've noticed that could be improved have all happened when I come closer to closing than opening. I've had a couple times where the tea kettle was still soapy, so the tea tasted awful. Their kettles keep the tea piping hot for the whole meal, so maybe that makes them hard to clean. But I've also had the tea come not very hot. They don't like giving you water and tea, some Chinese service lol. And for some reason, the food has also been a bit worse when I came later too Space is small and it can be crowded, especially on weekends. Come early for the best experience

We also decided to try a couple of things we had never ordered before after seeing other tables enjoy them. The beef chow fun looked amazing when we saw someone else order it, so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The noodles were on the dry side and lacked the flavorful wok hei and savory taste that I usually look for in a good beef chow fun. It was just missing that something special. We also ordered the Chinese chicken salad because we wanted something lighter to balance out the meal. I was expecting the traditional shredded chicken with lettuce, but instead it came with thin tortilla-style chips underneath. That really changed the whole feel of the dish for me. I was hoping for a refreshing salad, but the chips made it feel more greasy, and the mustard oil dressing was not really my preference. The chicken was also a little dry. I probably would not order this again. The good news is the salt and pepper spare ribs were still delicious, just like we expected. They remain one of our favorites here. Overall, I would stick with the dishes we already know and love and skip the beef chow fun and chicken salad next time.
