I am a Mediterranean LOVER, so I had to try the spot out. Overall, I actually give the spot maybe 3 stars but because it's local, I don't wanna be a hater so I'm gonna put 4. The reason why I put it lower than I wanted to was because I ordered the chicken Shawarma bowl, but the chicken was not authentic . It was more like a shredded chicken that you woud put in a chicken salad or shredded chicken sandwich. So that kind of had me disappointed off the rip. Also, the rice that was inside of the bowl was giving me chipotle vibes versus Mediterranean rice. The rice was good. It should've been paired with a bean vs this food style. The veggies were good. The hummus was good. The garlic spread was good. I wish for the bowl they gave you some type of pita bread with it because it was $16. But the portion size was good. Overall, I would come again, but it's not giving me authentic Mediterranean. But then again we are Lompoc. read more

I have driven by this place a few times and finally decided to stop in. Boy am I glad I did! I wasn't sure what to order but the lady at the counter was very helpful. She recommended the Chicken Shawarma plate. I have to say it was fantastic! The portions were huge! The chicken, the Greek salad the hummus were all wonderful. Food is delicious and unique for the local area. Portion sizes are generous. Price is a little on the high side but appropriate considering the portions. Staff are very friendly and attentive. This place operates in the same lot as a gas station and the outdoor seating leaves something to be desired. They should consider upgrading their seating or move locations if possible. They also do not serve drinks. You have to purchase at the gas station which is a bit odd. read more

Food is awesome! Menu is quite confusing, for me at least. The reason for my hesitation to give full marks is the loud music that constantly plays. The floors are all tile and the walls are glass so the music echos horribly and it magnifies. For someone with percussive hearing problems like me, it's a nightmare. read more

Food was amazing and exceeded our expectation! We ordered combo plate that came with a skewer of ground lamb, 3 pieces of lamb and chicken each, Greek salad, humus and bulgur. The lamb and chicken were so flavorful, juicy and tender! No need for a knife to cut the meat. We loved everything bite!! The portion was huge we could finish the plate. I highly recommend this place. I was in the area and being a Lebanese-American, I was asked by my friends to check this place zout and make recommendations. I ordered a Kafta plate, the sides from Hummus to salad. The meat was well seasoned. They are very generous. I also ordered manakeesh with zaatar. The homemade dough is unbelievable. It took a bit for the order because they make everything from scratch, you see them (through the glass) while they are making the food. If you are traveling on the 101, the 30 min detour to Lompoc to eat at this place is worth it. You will be pleased. Keep up the good work. read more

Every time my fiancé and I have eaten here it's a very long wait and the portions are very low. Today we had to wait 40 minutes for one plate after being told 15-20min our order was wrong. so we told them we didn't want the food anymore and just wanted a refund, the owner refused and got loud with me. It wasn't until I threatened him with the police he gave me my money back. This is not how you treat customers, especially when you couldn't even get a single plate right. I manage a restaurant in Santa Barbara and know this is un expectable. I hope he learns his lesson with his talk with the police and learns from his mistakes. read more

The food is delicious! I got the chicken schwarma bowl which truly had it all. It had tsatziki, hummus, garlic sauce, bulgar, pickled vegetables, harissa and a delicious cabbage type slaw. Food was fresh and the servings are large! This is an outdoor seating only, so keep that in mind in windy Lompoc! You can get your meal take out, so that is a plus. I've been here a few times including when it recently opened. Since then I have to say the portion sizes have drastically decreased when it comes to the meat in their bowls which is disappointing since the food is sooo good! Everything is fresh and has amazing flavor. I just wish they would have been consistent with providing more meat like they used to. read more

Served cold food. I sat for 45 minutes waiting for a sandwich. After 45 minutes I walked up and asked where it was, kid threw it in my hand and dropped it on the floor, ON THE FLOOR! Sitting here for 45 minutes, I can see that this place is disorganized. A man called on the phone, got left on hold for 30 minutes, came in mad. He asked to order and the kid told him to wait, because he needed to hand out another order before taking his.... Like kid you're standing there for 10 minutes, just take the dudes order. Happy Mediterranean has great food. Very fresh produce and flavorful food. Their prices are more than reasonable and I can never finish a meal as they serve very generous portions. I'm so happy this place opened up! The servings are big and very filling. My husband and I ended up sharing the chicken shawarma bowl and had the chicken kebab wrap for later. The food tasted great and is flavorful. I asked for the taziki sauce w/the bowl. Next time I'll order an extra side of taziki and garlic sauce. I love drenching the chicken in it, but that's my preference. Btw...the bowl was beautiful to look at, so many colors. My husband enjoyed The wrap immensely, the chicken was very moist and well cooked. Staff was pleasant and food came out timely, which I wasn't expecting as it had just opened. Wow. This place is absolutely fantastic. For $21 my fiancé and I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with the fattoush and fries and a bang for your buck is how I would put it. I was expecting it to come on a typical large plate and it came in a freaking large half chafing dish. The flavors were above and beyond. We were blown away. Service was excellent and because you can see the kitchen through the glass you can watch as your food is prepared. Everything was nice and clean with good music playing. Absolutely delicious and much needed addition to Lompoc! I had the chicken schwarma plate which consisted of perfectly spiced, tender and juicy chicken schwarma, and I chose the fattoush salad and their new fries as my sides and it comes with a mound of creamy hummus and bread. The fattoush salad is my new favorite salad and I think the hummus is the best I've ever had. It was smooth and creamy, I'm dying to go back for more. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they only have outdoor seating which would be fine if there were umbrellas or something the provide some shade.
