I would give this place five stars except that it is tough to communicate with anybody here when there is an issue. Recently I called and made an appointment and she told me to come in at 3:30 PM. I got there at 3:35 PM when I looked in the window I seen somebody getting their nails done with her and you can tell that she was maybe halfway finished. I went back to my car and sat there until around 3:50 PM and then I decided to go. Thought maybe she was almost done but I was sadly mistaken. I sat there until 4:10 PM I feel like I was getting kind of frustrated so I went to sit outside in my car for a minute to cool off so I didn't say anything to her. When I came back in she was getting that same gal a pedicure. I don't think it's OK to lie and set up an appointment and expect somebody wait 40 minutes. I think it's important to communicate and that's just not what happened.

The owner promptly sat me and started the pedicure. The place smelt like cigarettes. Floor was filthy and every nail station looked like a train wreck! She mentioned they are under new ownership and it's been a month. The floor needed to be cleaned. The pedicure itself was just ok. The towels smelt old and icky but I powered thru it. Unfortunately, she discovered afterward that she had a pretty significant allergic reaction to one of the nail oils that was used during the service. That's not something I fault the salon for--she has sensitive skin, and allergies can be unpredictable--but it's definitely something we will mention before future appointments. Overall, the quality of the nail work was excellent. If you have known sensitivities, I'd recommend letting your technician know ahead of time so they can discuss alternative products. Despite her reaction, she was genuinely happy with how her nails looked.
