I came in around 7:45 pm and they close at 8:30pm, but they were very welcoming and took me in right away. I was blown away my the sheer size and design of this nail salon. By far the best set up I have every seen. They provide you with a complimentary drink while you are serviced (with a purchase of $15 or more). I got the Milk/honey pedicure. It was heavenly. It comes with neck and shoulder massager, paraffin dip, callous treatment, peppermint cream and an herbal wrap. I have come to happy nails for years and typically have a positive experience. I had my nails done Monday before heading out of town for work and while away a nail broke. On my way back into town after a 4 hour drive, I stopped to get my nail fixed, and am do to go back out of town in 24hours. The shop is short staffed and I was advised that there would be a long wait. I advised that I understood and asked for a glass of wine while I waited. I was told that I could have a drink but observed staff walking back and forth for a few minutes. When I asked again for a drink, I was told that I could not get anything to drink for a nail repair. I expressed my concern to management that I understood the policy but that it was poor service (my nail broke after only 2 days and I have to wait over 30 minutes for a repair). I again stated that I understand policy but was disappointed because the cost of $2 was more important to the establishment than a repeat customer that has introduced new clientele and spends at least $100 per visit. The response I received was too bad because other people will take advantage of wine. Just sharing my experience as to how this business blatantly disregards their customers and prioritize literal dimes over the value of community members patronizing their business. I will never return to this establishment and caution other patrons to be ware of how/who they choose to offer their business/money to. read more

Several problems during our visit. It was party of 4, so they put us in a little private room however they booted one of us out because the pedicure sink wasn't working... and after my MIL left, the sink started to produce stingy odor. It was unbearable but the staff didn't care. "Almost done..almost done..." it was disgusting. Vivian, couldn't find any of the colors I wanted. And she dragged me outside to have me choose a color I wanted. What's the point of having those pallets of the colors from there doesn't exist? The procedure is not consistent. After piling and all, they didn't have my mom wash her hands, but they did for everyone. And typically when we get gel manicure they do have us wash our hands with no soap. They have choose 1 drink policy which could be an alcoholic beverage, tea, water, or soft drinks. Salon itself is very nice and newly renovated. Beware. I have seen this happen every time I have been there and it has finally happened to me. You may have an appointment but that means nothing. I made an appointment 1 month ago only to have it changed with no notification. They showed me the appointment book which even had my time whited out and moved. Not very smart. They change your appointment time without notifying you so they can accommodate walkins. You are then told you are late for your appointment. They will do anything for money not caring about their scheduled customers. I have witnessed customers arriving because they were told there was an appointment available for their requested employee only to find out there is no appointment. I left this salon feeling like I was on cloud 9. This establishment has been around for 20 years and I understand why. They roll out the red carpet for their customers. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the front desk receptionist who politely asked which service I was there for. She then paired me with a nail technician who then offered me a complimentary alcoholic beverage or water with lemon. The nail tech did a thorough job and was quick(I don't like spending a lot of time in nail salons). The worst acrylic set I've ever gotten. The manicurist rushed through the job. Completely different shapes from what I have asked. I asked for a square with rounded edges, but what I got is a completely different shape (my nails are round and thick). The shapes and polish are completely off. When I asked the manicurist to get me the color I wanted, she was rude and upset. The professionalism and disrespect are unbelievable. The manager refused to speak with me. The receptionist said "the manager can't speak English "and I have been told to call back to speak to another person later. My daughters took me to get my pedicure for the very first time and I am 46 years old!! Needless to say I was nervous about what the pedicurist would think of my feet! Lol! I am very low maintenance but I think this experience has made me a believer! The lady who did my pedicure was so sweet and gentle with my feet. Second time I've been to this nail salon. First time I'm getting my nails done here, pedicures are fine but my nails don't look good. My nail tech rushed through my Nails and pedicure. My nails are blocky, uneven and originally were left with fake nail under my real nails. I had to ask another technician to fix them. So cheap and rushed through. I went to Happy Nails last Monday as a walk-in round 5pm. I did call beforehand just to ensure I didn't need an appointment. The receptionist was nice and informed me since it was Monday they would not be crowded. I walked in, put my name on the waiting list and sat down for less than 5 minutes when a young gentlemen called me back. He asked me what I wanted done and I showed him the design I found online and told him I use dipping powder normally. He told me he would be unable to do the acrylic flower I wanted and asked a coworker to help out. I found my way to her chair and she came a few minutes later. She was teaching a coworker who ended up assisting her by grabbing my complimentary Moscato. Nina ended up doing a great job on my nails and was accommodating with all my requests, I.e. changing the shape, making my nails longer with the acrylic. She didn't soak off the dipping powder color I had on but used another tip to wedge in between that prior color and my nails to pop it off. It didn't hurt but soaking would had been less damaging to my natural nails which are pretty healthy and strong. She used a few tips as she told me my nail lengths were too uneven not too. I would have rather not done that but it worked out fine. My usual nail tech has done that too at times. Nina was friendly and able to keep a conversation going, making jokes at times. No awkward silence at all. The nail tech she was training did my toes, nothing special there but I was also happy with the job she did. I would definitely go back and see Nina again. She delivered on my request for fancy birthday nails and true to her word, all my rhinestones stayed perfectly in place. I appreciate her effort and highly recommend going to see her. I also appreciate how the first tech was honest about his ability and didn't tell mess up my nails trying to do something he didn't know how too. Like other reviews have said, the place is large, clean, a little too fancy for my liking but I get they are going for a luxury feel. I didn't quite get that feeling but that's not important to me from a nail place. They had on a travel food show playing in the back on a large screen TV which I didn't mind. It was too loud in the place to hear what was being said so I just enjoyed the visual in between my conversation with Nina. I hadn't had my nails done in-- forever. The situation was getting critical as my cuticles were growing cuticles. I had seen Happy Nails when I was in this spot mall doing some business at my bank. So, I bit the bullet and went. The place is very big. It is just rows upon rows of manicure desks and employees milling about waiting for clients. I went to the reception desk and told the dude there that I wanted a manicure. Evidently, they just had a flat screen plasma installed because the tv guy was poking through the ceiling playing with the DVD component. I was retrieved from the waiting area by a male nail tech. We made some small talk about the holidays, and I got a nice nail massage and got to watch most of "Crouching Tiger" on the new television. The second picture is AFTER I came back to ask for my money back, but rather than loosing a dollar they redid my nails and in total charged me 75 dollars for a set that should cost 60 at most. Was recommended to go here by a friend. This is the worst experience I've ever had, from beginning to end. Started off with the tech assuming that I wanted a regular pedicure instead of a spa pedicure which includes callus removal, without asking. I also asked it I should start soaking off my gel x while the pedicure is being done. The tech said okay and never went to get me anything to start soaking it off. The tech then criticized the length of my toenails saying it was too hard for her to paint since they were short. I then realized that my friends who I came with were getting their feet massaged and calluses removed. I asked the tech who then said she assumed I was just getting a basic pedicure. By this time, she was about done painting my nails. After that, the tech took me to the manicure station. I was not aware two different people would be working with me. When I got to the second tech, he was surprised and a little upset that my nails were not soaking yet since it takes about an hour to soak off. After he started drilling my nails, the drill nicked my finger and started to bleed. He apologized and put some antiseptic solution and continued on. I checked my nails afterwards and saw that a couple of them were bumpy which the tech "fixed" by just dipping my fingers into another layer of dip powder which made it worse. With the techs and owner knowing what a horrible experience I was receiving, there was no compensation made for it. I will not be returning and DO NOT recommend this establishment. read more

The pros of this salon are that they give you drinks, fruit, and snacks. They also keep it very clean, and it looks nice. However, the last two visits have been unsatisfying. My last visit, they were very busy and so they put me in a VIP room and charged me an extra $10 and I feel like why charge me if it's not my fault that it's full. I've had pedis and dip manis here several times pre-COVID and a couple of pedis in recent months. I really like the service and ambiance. The only thing I don't like are the candles burning. I, and many others, are sensitive/allergic to these. I began coughing immediately upon entering and have a tickle in my throat and headache since checkout. Luckily, they're only at the entrance. But there are several. If the candle burning continues, I'll have to find another salon to get my nails done. read more

Let me start off by saying that this review is not for all of the nail technicians at this salon. I went to this salon today with my sister to get a acrylic fill with gel and a pedicure. The tech who did my pedicure was good, she made she sure took her time. The horrible service came from the tech who did my nails, Janet! After sitting at her station she began drilling off the polish on my nails. While talking to her coworker she ran over my cuticles several times. Once I flinched she rolls her eyes. I proceeded to get my nails filed when my nail beds started to sting, I tell her that the drill is getting hot and it's starting to burn. By that time she looks overly annoyed that I'm even saying anything. Janet pauses and then continues to drill, by this time she's working on my pinky when I feel click followed by an extreme burning. I asked her to no longer use the drill on my nails, which she didn't like but this is my nails. Once she started to apply the acrylic I could feel the stings from were she has skinned with the drill, I sucked it up because it will heal. The last nail to get the full was my pinky. As soon as she swiped the acrylic on the pain was excruciating! This lady cracked my nail bed when she was over filing my nails!! I thought maybe in a second the pain would subside but nope, it was burning the whole time. When I tried telling her something was wrong she ignored me and started talking to her coworker in their language. Finally my sister got the manager and when I told her what happened she said my nail was already cracked prior to getting my full set, mind you I was only getting a fill. After telling her her I already had a set on and that I was getting a fill she tried shushing me so the customers within earshot couldn't hear what happened. The manager tells me she has a cream to put on my finger so that the nail doesn't get infected, no apology, no trying fixed my situation, or at least take over because she could clearly see and hear her tech fussing while I was telling her how she damaged my nails. After talking to the manager I could see she didn't care and that's probably why her tech didn't care either. I left there was botched nails and in pain.
