My dogs Gin (Yorkie) and Nyla (Bichon) attended daily doggy daycare at Happy Paws Inn for over a year and their experience there was wonderful. Darius, Tatiana and the staff were very attentive and affectionate with my girls. The facility was clean and well organized. They adhered to my meal and snack schedule and even helped out on the rare occasion I forgot to include it in their bag. They also taught them simple commands and Darius provided excellent tips on training at home (i.e. he helped me train Nyla to stop eating poop). I highly recommend Happy Paws Inn for doggy day care with complete peace of mind while away from your pet. read more

Don't believe the negative reviews! The owner, Darius, and the manager, Tatiana, are awesome and really kind. They're always smiling and extremely helpful. Angie at the front desk is also kind and professional. Everyone who plays with my pup have a true love for dogs. The staff went above and beyond to give my baby a very special birthday celebration. No, they don't have cameras, but I don't need them. I trust everyone who works there. Another review claimed that Happy Paws at Mableton have been unclear about cost, but that has never happened to me. Carolina is the absolute best. I'm overly anxious when leaving my dog anywhere, even with family, but not with Carolina. I know he will be cared for, loved on, and come home looking and smelling like a million bucks. This review is for the groomer, Carolina, only. Buyer beware! This place is a scam. I've tried to take my dogs there 3 times. I've asked for an invoice prior to dropping them off to confirm the cost. They never sent one and each time the they tried to charge me $50 more than the price I was quoted on the phone. They think because you're dropping your dogs off on the way out of town they can bait and switch. read more

We've used Happy Paws 3 times now. Each time we've picked our dogs up, they've smelled like urine. I can assure you that they normally don't smell like that. After one of their visits, our dogs came back with Kennel cough, despite having bordatella vaccine (which is required to board there!) We noticed concerning behavioral changes in our dogs after each visit. These usually go away in a few weeks with extra attention and love. When dropping our dog off at their regular groomer shortly after a happy paws stay, he had a meltdown and refused to be left with his groomers who he never has issues with. We attribute that to the treatment, or lack thereof, he received at happy paws. Other reviews mention a rude owner. In my experience, the staff are friendly and lovely to work with. However, I cannot say I recommend happy paws for extended boarding. The other services they offer might be worth looking into, though. read more

When calling to ask how my 14 year old dog adopted was doing no one seemed to have a straight answer. Do they have cameras, like other facilities, so you can watch your dog? I have been attempting to schedule a groom for my dog for a few days now. Their onboarding Grooming process is absolutely absurd. There are way too many steps, nothing is clearly explained, and their website is not user-friendly. The new customer application is basically a word document that is not automated, it is time consuming since they include both grooming AND boarding. And in the end, they want you to download, print, complete the application, sign it and then upload it. I submitted my pet records from her vet account and they told me it did not meet their criteria because they couldn't see the end date. If this would have been explained earlier in the process, we could've avoided all of the back and forth. When I spoke with the lady responsible for checking the forms, she seemed clueless as to how to run an efficient business. So while I never received the opportunity to get my dog groomed, I actually think it was a blessing in disguise. read more

We love HPI. My daughter and I have been boarding our collective three dogs there since moving to Mableton last fall. Previously the two chi-chis had been at a boarding facility in Buckhead for 7 years and I was very nervous about switching. Our dogs do very, very well at HPI - they come home happy, well rested, healthy and the staff are very attentive. My daughter's dog is a nervous dog and they give her special love and attention freely to help her get over her initial nervousness. We can tell they care and it shows. The women that owns this place has no clue about dogs and their behavior. She put the small dogs at the front of the shop and got frustrated when they would bark as soon as people would walk in. When I picked up my dog she had him in a diaper, because she did not like the fact that he wanted to mark his territory, and she was to lazy to take him outside. read more

I was referred to Happy Paws by a friend. I was debating getting another dog for my dog so she could have someone to play with but did not want to commit to all that is required for another dog. So a friend referred me to Happy Paws and I can honestly say I have been pleased. Mind you my dog has only be 3 times in the past 2 weeks I have been pleased with her stay at doggie daycare. One perk was that they have a groomer at Happy Paws. Let me just tell you that my dog will never go back to PetSmart for her grooming. This person was FANTASTIC! In the 16 months I have had my dog I have never seen her look so "groomed." The staff are great and all the dogs appear happy. I would highly recommend Happy Paws for any doggie daycare needs. read more

Please do not use this facility! I utilized Happy Paws for boarding my dog. Shortly after my return, my dog was diagnosed with kennel cough. She is a house dog and only was in contact with other dogs at Happy Paws while boarding. When I raised my concern to the owner, she was extremely rude and unprofessional! Please be warned this NOT the ideal place to leave your pet. I would also advise that you tour the facility because it didn't not smell and appear clean when dropping for off. My dog has been a Happy Paws Day Camper for a few months and I am beyond pleased with the level of care and service provided by the owner and staff. They truly care for the pets through their loving interactions along with safety and cleanliness of the property. Day camp is not about baby sitting your pet, it is active and controlled indoor and outdoor play with other pups. This allows for socialization and exercise. And also contributes to early evening wind-down for my dog ;-). If you're looking for a fun, safe, and caring spot for your dog then Happy Paws is it! read more
