Terrible Experience I choose this dog groomer because of the reviews BIG MISTAKE. My pets had an appointment @10am for a bath ,nail clip and cut for a small dog and a bath and nail trim for a med dog. After about 4 .5 hours my husband called them several times without an answer he drove 25 minutes to the groomer. Once he arrived and ask what was going on they stated oh we have many pets to do and it will be another 30 minutes. Well we had an appointment our pets sat there for 6 hours. Are pets our children and I will not let them be treated like this . We will never use them again 1st and last visit. The cut wasn't special at all her face wasn't done correctly. I wish I could of picked them up because I wouldn't of paid for this awful non-service. I give NO * After further inspection of my dog was cut in serval places ,my dog is in so much pain and will not eat. Do you know how hard it is to find a talented cat groomer?!?! My cats have been shaved 3 times at other groomers and each time they looked goofier than the last but Happy Pets did EXACTLY what I asked for. My beauties look amazing and are also in much better moods than when leaving other facilities in the past. They also smell so amazing that I would wear that scent as a perfume. This place is amazing. Their prices are lower than Petsmart and Petco and the ladies who work here are insanely patient and kind with my animals. To address an older review, they required shot records and vet info when I brought mine in. They also required it over the phone when scheduling someone else while I was there, so I think it may have just slipped that time. They're very flexible with scheduling, good with cats, and one of their groomers is ISCC certified, which is rare in this area. (This means for those of you who like more than a shave down or want breed standard, you're going to get exactly what you want here). The shop is clean, there's lots of parking, and they always have really cute pet toys and treats. (Also, their antlers are the cheapest I've ever seen, pro tip for those with heavy chewers). Been taking my Jack Russell here for a couple years. They are so sweet to her and they are more affordable than the big pet store groomers.

They do a great job with my Standard Poodles. My dogs can be shy/fearful at times, but they love to come here, which says alot!

Holly is excellent with my Shih Tzu, Bentley. Great cuts and prices are reasonable.

I happened across these folks when we move to Fenton about 8+ years ago and have been using them for grooming of several of my cats ever since. The cats don't like riding in a car, but once they get to the spa they calm down immediately. After the first few visits, the staff even remembers the cat's names. I brought my dog here last week after being referred by a relative. I heard good things, so I thought I'd have them groom my dog. I'm very unhappy with the service. When I came to pick up my dog, she was in a cage with a huge box fan blowing on her to dry her off - which is concerning to me since she's fearful of cages and loud, rumbling noises (lawnmowers, loud fans, edgers, etc.) She was shaking in her cage, afraid to get out. On top of that, her hair didn't look like it had even been cut, and it was going every which way because of the fan. She looked worse than when I dropped her off. She came home and drank 2 1/2 bowls of water, which leads me think they didn't even give her something to drink. I won't be returning and I'm definitely not going to recommend anyone to Happy Pets. read more
