I am so unbelievably angry with the vet who runs this clinic. The employees are all very nice but the vet is a scam artist!! Please do not take your animal here. He over charges withholds script for meds for your pet unless you buy it from them directly and then they charge you an arm and a leg. And if you tell them you are struggling with money they give no sympathy or try to help you find a solution. He just looks at you like your an unfit pet parent. I was paying $180 for 2 medications a month that I found on chewy.com for $46!! And then they refused to give work with chewy or even give me a copy of his script. I had to go find a different vet that was not only a nicer facility, but nicer vet and WAY more affordable! I had to pay for a brand new exam and fight with happy pets just to get a copy of my dogs medical records and then when they sent it to me it basically showed nothing on it. Not his rabies vaccine, not the exrays or dental cleaning. Absolutely nothing! If I find out I can sue this place for unethical practice I will. Vets are obligated to release script information and complete medical records upon request by the owner of the pet. But it seems they were more interested in the $240 I was spending at their clinic every month than they were about my dogs health. read more

Advertise themselves as lowest care in Harris County. Please! They overcharged me every time I went in and NEVER stopped pitching products and services. I am permanently disabled and my dog is an emotional support animal. Never the less, they never stopped smiling as they overcharged me over a hundred dollars or more every visit. They always claimed my dog needed expensive tests of over $500 dollars. Which I could not afford. They lied again and again. The final straw was when I for a prescription so I could get her ear medication online. First, they said it was something mad in house, then wanted a $40 for a Rx. They advertise on their website that neutering a male cat was $33 dollars and some change. I called about making an appointment. They said they needed to examine him 1st, and it would cost $45.00, and then they would give me a quote. I took my cat in and paid the money up front. The Vet checked his temp, checked his weight, and checked his privates, and said he was healthy. This took less that 5 minutes. I ask for the quote. They said they would girl at the front said it would be $99.00 for the surgery, another $50 for all the shots, and a flea treatment. This was now over $250.00. I said your website said $33.00. She ignored me and continued to talk. I said again, website said $33.00. We do this, we do that, the other Vets don't do what we do. I walked out. My BFF runs a spay/neuter clinic in Florida, so I knew what she hand told me was not true! This Vet is about money, not the care of your pet! read more

If there was a zero rating that is what i would choose. This Doctor started out very caring for my dog when I went for an emergency visit as my 4 yr old 11 lb Tshitzu got attacked by a 50 lb big dog. My dog was rattled like a stuffed animal and was not moving when the other dog finally dropped him off his mouth. As I said Dr Anjari was concerned and nice when we arrived and examined him, he stated they will have to hold my dog in observation and give him pain meds and iv fluids to make sure he is ok. Obviously my dog was in a traumatic and shocked state of the aggressive attack he just went through. The exam for the doc to evaluate him cost me $83.50 and when I left they collected another $250.00 deposit for him to stay and be observed while given IV fluids and pain meds. They never called me to tell me the status of him, like they said they would so I called and they said my dog is still in shock but is moving around a little. It was ok for me to go and pick him up. As I was getting ready to check out the front desk girl tells me they need to send him home with antibiotics and pain meds and also need to pay for the fluids they gave him which would be additional $145.00. I said what about the 250.00 I already paid you doesn't that cover it? To my surprise the answer was no, so I said what does the $250.00 cover just to put and IV and fluids and for ya'll to watch him? I asked to speak to the Dr. and boy did his demeanor changed instantly. He answered me very rudley and yelled at me saying that what do I think he did ,that he just watched him and baby sat him? He said he administered the fluids and made sure he was stable. I said to him that is fine and understand him and appreciate what he did but, I don't understand how I am being charged so much for just fluids and now have to pay another $145.00 and then bring him back for his follow up and that was gunna cost me another $50.00 dollars. I am sorry but to me it was very unproffessional on his end and to respond to the client in that manner was upsetting. Like the previous person stated it didn't feel like he cared about the pet or situation and being christmas just passed you would think he wud be more understanding. But he really just cares about the money and not the patient. His attitude needs to be adjusted and his prices to be more competive. I actually went to another clinic the next day and their office visit exam is $17.00, that is a $66.50 dollar difference!!!! Bottom line me nor my pets will be returning to this clinic. read more

I had a very bad experience with that veterinary clinic, I took my dog for his annual rabies vaccine and after pay they got my dog clinical history folder and kept with them while I was assisting the doctor to shot my dog, they told me they would scheduled a second appointment to follow up and for some additional exams, I told them I was planning to make a travel for those days so they scheduled the appointment any way 2 weeks later, they did not give me the rabies vaccination certificate, nor the vaccination tag, when I asked for it, they just told me they will until the next visit appointment, I told her that if I am paying for a service I deserve to receive what I am paying for. The doctor's assistant upset told me they were busy at that time and said to comeback later, what I did the next day. They do not have matters nor professional ethical to have this kind of business. read more

I will NEVER be returning to this clinic! The doctor was ridiculously rough with my miniature chihuahua just putting him on their leash, the doctor wouldn't let me help calm him. The doctor pulled the muzzle strap so tight the skin on his face was puffing outside of it. My dog was scared and was trying to get to me and the doctor grabbed one of his legs and was hurting my dog, and the nurse knew I was mad at the way he was being handled and made it clear the doctor does this a lot no matter the size of the pet. On Sept. 6th Of 2018. I took my cat to his 2nd visit here for his 2nd round of shots. I was going to get him spayed as well but my gut feeling told me no so i didnt fill out paper work for it (Thank God)..When my wife & i went to the front desk to sign in..The two receptionist was telling us if we wanted to get him a leukemia shot as well because cats get leukemia And some other shots that he dont need but they recommend..Aslo if we wanted to give him another poop test to see if he has worms because the 1st visit they claimed he had 3 different types of worms. But didnt provide paper work on what names/types of worms he so called had. They also never gave us any receipts on how we paid. Newho my cat doesn't have worms (wow) they just want more money and try to scare you with different types of stuff so they can take your money! Well for my 2nd visit Mr. Anahi or however you spell it was very rough with my fur baby he grabbed him ruff and stuck that temperature stick so hard and ruff in side of him to where my baby growed and yelled. I wanted to cry i yelled to his assistant to let me hold my baby. But she said no its ok.. He then gave him his shot again ruff and said very rude CAGE saying to put him back in the cage. I hurried to grab my baby and put him back in his cage.. Sorry folks but I want to discourage you from taking your pets to Happy Pets Vets. I couldn't give them a rating due to the extremely poor service that we received. Brought our cat into the vet a month ago to get her fixed. Dr examined the cat and indicated that she had a ear infection and was in heat. Indicated that they could still do the procedure. Paid $65.00 for the visit and $375.00 for the procedure. We left. 1 hr later I received a phone call and they told me the cat had passed away. We were devastated she was part of our family. Poor little thing supposedly had a heart attack and blood in her lungs. I asked why the dr didn't catch it. And her response was. We are refunding your money and we will cremate the cat and give you a beautiful urn. Well one month later no phone call to pick her up. We went up there and they called the cops on us. THEY KILLED OUR CAT AND DONT WANT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. What is this world coming too. AGAIN PLEASE PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS PLACE. read more

We took our 4-year-old kitty to his vet because it was one of the only ones open. We already knew what was wrong with her because our other cats had previously been diagnosed with the same virus. We had no doubt in our mind what was wrong and what treatment was necessary because it worked quickly in our other cats. The people who checked us in were absolutely great but the doctor was very arrogant and quite frankly needs to brush up on veterinarian medicine. In other words, he had no idea what he was talking about. I think it is professionally unethical for one doctor to say another doctor is wrong, especially when there was previous testing done. We have been to quite a few vets in the Houston area and his office charge of $80 was too much. You only pay $100 for an emergency visit to Blue Pearl and other qualified emergency clinics. He prescribed antibiotics when none were necessary. There was no respiratory infection or no reason to believe there was any kind of bacterial infection. The pain medication our cat was given was good when we reduced the dose to 1/3 of what he prescribed. At least she was awake and not knocked out and unable to eat or drink which is why we took her there to begin with. With the $80 office call and the two small bottles of liquid medication for $160, I honestly felt insulted, embarrassed for even going and angry at myself for not walking out. This goes on our list of places we will never go again. This doctor seems to be out trying to take as much money as he can he can from emotional pet owners. We would have been better off not taking our kittie to the vet. read more

I recently went in to Happy Pets Vets because they were just outside of our neighborhood on Monday February 19 with a pet emergency. I would NEVER recommend anyone take their babies there! If given the option to give a lower rating I would have. The ONLY upside to this situation was the receptionist/tech was nice. Before anyone from this facility tries to discredit my statements or say I was never a customer, as I have seen in other reviews, I will attach a copy of the charge I incurred while at this HORRIBLE place. We went in with a 6 week old puppy that would not stop seizing. We got there around 8:15 a.m. and the facility opened at 8 a.m. As soon as we got there the receptionist/tech asked us to fill out paperwork and for our card. We were told that since it was an emergency the cost would be $104. We gave her the card and signed the receipt and thought we would immediately be taken back. The receptionist told us after we were charged that the Dr. hadn't even made it in yet! I then told her I'm just going to take my pup up the street to find a Dr. that is in the office. I do understand that things happen and there will be some days when you're just going to be late. When I told her that I would be leaving she said well by the time you go up the street he will already be here. So we stayed and she took us to a room. We were waiting and looking outside to see when the Dr. will finally get there all while this baby is still having multiple seizures in my arms. My husband and I decide that's enough and we need to get this baby some help A.S.A.P! We were walking out and I tell the lady at the front again that we are leaving and I would be back later to get my money back. I believe at this time it's 8:40 a.m. So as we're trying to leave she stands in front of the door and tells us he should be pulling in any minute. And he did. So we go back in the room and we still have the room door open thinking he would just walk straight in and help us. Instead, he walks in, walks around the counter and comes through the other door for employees only as if he had been there the ENTIRE time! At this point I'm already distraught not understanding why this baby is actively having seizures. He comes in takes his temperature turns around and asks me do you know why puppies have seizures? Of course I don't that's why I brought him in! He was literally in the room for 1-2 minutes and walks out the same employee door that he just walked through with a calculator and says he either needed $670 or we put him down. 2 minutes no testing, no injection, nothing and he just said it nonchalantly. No compassion. My perception of a "VET" was always that they treated pets as family and not just another pet walking through the door. I was sadly mistaken when I walked in to this horrendous place. I took my baby right up the street to CROSSROADS ANIMAL CLINIC and saw DR. Kelly McIntyre. Crossroads and Dr. McIntyre was exactly what a VET SHOULD BE! read more

STAY AWAY! It seems like when you take your puppy in everything is wrong with it. I was told about my pet having hook worm and round worm, but was never shown the actual results. It seems that it is his gimmic to push meds. I never got a good vibe from him. Seemed like he was trying to push products on me. I took my chihuahua in to be seen...first I called and the receptionist seemed nice. So I took her in. They had us sign paperwork and then charged me $115 for exam...which I thought was odd..since we hadn't even been seen! We waited another 40 or so minutes..and then thankfully some guy was in front of us waiting to be seen. He went in first with his dog who he said was 14 and aging. In the meantime my lil dog was breathing hard..here and there. When the guy came out after 5 to minutes...I asked him how it went. He said we'll see..with this $300 of medication they prescribed. At this point I am already talking to my son about us getting refunded and leaving. An then after talking it out with the receptionist..(who was doing her best to get us to stay).that is exactly what we did...we left!! I don't mind paying...but I think the service should match the amount I am paying for. And it CLEARLY DID NOT. Thank goodness I listened to my intuition. My lil dog ended up passing that day...but I don't blame them. Although they did not seem at all interested in Actually helping my pet or the other dog. I think it was bc of old age...that mine passed Decided to write this review to tell others NOT TO WASTE THEIR TIME AND MONEY!! I was thankful that we got refunded our $115 back. If I could give them a negative star I would. Very rude and unprofessional. Please don't take your puppy or pets to them. First time was greeted by a young lady and she was nice but on second visit greeted by an older mean lady. I guess she is the owner since the vet and her have the same accent. The first visit my records of service was emailed to me. The second visit I was told they would be emailed to me but never received them. I called to ask could they email them and I was told by the same older lady that she don't have time to email them to me and that I should have taken a picture of the records while I was in their office. She also went on to tell me that she had to go and dig and find my puppy records. Hmmm. Why would you have to go dig and find my puppy records when I was just in there less than two and a half weeks ago?. But you have no problem calling me to say, "We just reviewed your records and you didn't schedule for you puppy third visit. Duh not with Happy Vets I won't and I advise you not to either. Yeah they may be convenient and you can get a quick appointment and there is a reason for that. So take my advise and stay away. read more

Getting ready for my vacation I was looking for a safe, clean and responsible place to leave my dog Sian. Unfortunately, I waited too long to make reservations at the Kennel Club around my house and found that the place was booked to capacity for next two months. Luckily, the Kennel club owner referred me to the Animal Hospital/Kennel FM 529. At first I was a little hesitant because I had not heard of them and I had a very bad experience with another kennel club the last time I was out of town and left Sian at a place like that. The owner of the kennel club assured me that this was a good place and that he refers lots of people there when his business is full to capacity, so I relented. I approached the placed with an open mind and hopes for the best. This place looks very small from the outside but is huge in the back, with capacity for 100 dogs at a time. The staff was extremely friendly and although Sian is very hyper and gets excited whenever he meets new people (he's a big dog so people tend to get intimidated by his friendliness) the staff was very caring and loving with him. This gave me a little more reassurance that he would be okay for the next two weeks. Animal Hospital FM 529 is an all in one kind of place. I had Sian get his annual physical done here, got his meds and used the kennel services which saved me a lot of time! While we were away they sent us a picture of Sian and he looked very happy. Upon my return from my vacation I found Sian looked great! He had even gained some weight and seemed happy, unlike the last time I left them at a kennel club. The reason I'm giving them a four is because they were very persistent that I purchase services that i did not need or want. I will definitely use them again for Sian's medical and boarding needs! read more

My cat had a planned surgery and we boarded over Christmas. Thank God I didn't look at the reviews first. Dr. Ansari and staff were awesome and my cat, while he missed us, was spoiled rotten. To the point where they bought him special food after his surgery because he was being a bit of a diva. The guy ahead of us was not pleased that they charged for copies of records but based on their costs, I wouldn't be surprised if they charged extra for things like that. The girls behind the desk were pleasant and friendly. Dr. Ansari is wonderful. He was gentle, concerned and did a thorough exam on my Weimaraner before telling me what his suggestions were for proceeding. He was very nice and seemed genuinely concerned for my girl. He went through all of the costs for the next steps if the antibiotic doesn't work and told us what we could be expecting. I will absolutely be taking my girl back and hopefully the wonderful service we got today will grow into a trusting, mutual relationship about the health and well being of our pets. BIGGEST CROOK IN TOWN!!! HIS RATING DESERVES '0' STARS!! On yesterday (7/30/12), i took my Pommie in as an emergency. She had a rubber band on her tail over night and in the morning could not tolerate the pain. In fear of her having to have her tail amputated, i frantically took her to 529 Hospital and was seen by Dr. Ansari. From the start, his reception was scolding as he was annoyed that i had her tended to elsewhere and not been back with my pet for nearly 4 yrs. He then coldly reviewed her, stating the obvious that something was wrong with her tail. He then says to me, "but i don't have xray eyes, so we'll need at least 3 views of xrays". I asked how much that would run me and he quoted me $205 just for the images, and $95 for the radiologist to read, and refused to discuss what surgery would cost because the xray process would have to be done first, but probably $1000. I asked him what could happen if untreated, and he blandly answered, "a lot of things". His sarcasm is intolerable. I told him that i was not financially able to pay that, and if there was an alternative. He said yes..."Do nothing." I questioned if he could prescribe at least pain medication until i could get money together, and asked if she could be given children's Motrin. His reply, ..."if you want to kill her"! At that point i was done with his patronizing attitude and refused to give him my business. Once at the counter to have the 2 prescriptions filled, they wanted $120!!!! If that wasnt the crooked vet trying to hit a home run off of me, he then refused to give me the names of the medicines so that i could fill them elsewhere! This was a rip off since i prepaid him the office visit ! If my dog had nerve damage or circulation issues due to the rubber band, the xray would not have seen that. Long story short, was ROBBED for $45. He took his time in seeing me after i made an appointment, had poor patient etiquette, and tried to price gauge me over some xrays that were probably not even needed. ~~~~~~Dr. Ansari is only out to steal your $$$ in your time of need.~~~ read more

Consultation fee is $65, if you come in with no appt, you pay $10. Today took my dog in for a rash and the doctor said that he had a fever and needed a week of observation at home then come back, but charged us $110 for antibiotics. The doctor is not friendly, no bedside manners, rude! The Indian lady In the front is extremely rude. They just don't care about the animals or families. They also have a new building, no more trailer. So they may be charging a lot to pay for this new building. Please go elsewhere and save your money and animals. HORRIBLE! Everything everyone says is true! We just brought in our rescue 4 weeks ago for all of his shots, etc. Then we planned a trip and need to board him, well we needed to get him an updated kennel cough vaccine. They are going to charge us 80$ for an exam they JUST PERFORMED 4 weeks ago and then another $50 for the shot! (He kept telling me "IT"S THE LAW!" Our other vets office, closer to our home, had our other dog come right in (she was also seen 4 weeks ago) and was given the vaccine for 16$. (they were not available the day we rescued this dog, or he would never have gone to this HELL HOLE. So then I ask this JERK to send me a copy of the records that they DO have on file for him and he says I have to pay 25$ to come in and get them to print me a sheet of paper. I said "WHAT?!" and again he goes "IT'S THE LAW!" What a crock of horse you know what! He is AWFUL, money grubbing JERK who doesn't give a CRAP about people or Animals. I am giving 1 star because my first experience with this animal hospital was "fair". Though they were very kind and let me schedule a late appointment, they pressured me to purchase additional services that I did not need and insisted we purchase our new puppy's medications through their office. The second visit was less satisfying. Aside from tacking on additional fees and nickel and diming our every move, the receptionist was not pleasant and the doctor seemed irritated that we bothered him with questions. This last week is what finally set me off. They were unable to match the price for Comfortis from 1.800.PetMeds, so I ordered the medication online. When the request came to their office, they denied it. I had to call the office and confirm I was the one who placed the order and that I authorized the release of my pet's information. Okay, fine. They assured me if I had 1.800.PetMeds re-send the request, they would approve it (she was noting it in my file as we spoke, or so she said). 2 days later, another denial email from 1.800.PetMeds and a follow up phone call to let me know one of the receptionists said they were still waiting on my call to confirm my order. I was fuming! I called and spoke with another receptionist (the doctor is NEVER available for phone calls) and she said the order was denied because I have to pay a $10 prescription fee. Seriously? That would have been nice to know when I called last week to have the request resent! I had an appointment the following week, so I asked her to add the $10 to my account and I would pay it when I come in. That's fine, she says, but it will be another 24 hours (AFTER PAYMENT IS RECEIVED) before the prescription is ready to send to 1.800.PetMeds. So instead, I paid over the phone. I asked her to email or fax the prescription to me, but NO! It has to be picked up in person! So now I have to make a special visit to pick up the prescription and send to 1.800.PetMeds myself, so I will finally get my order confirmed 2 weeks later! After I paid for expedited shipping! I find it really sad that when a pet's health and wellbeing is on the line, they will deny a prescription for a measly $10 fee that I could have paid when I came in the following week! Or I would have been happy to pay it over the phone- but nobody bothered to tell me there was such a fee. This is just the clinic's attempt to get their patients to order all medications through them and avoid the hassle. That won't work for me! I have all my dogs' records and am moving to another vet (oh yeah- they charge for your pet's records too!). read more

From the moment I went in to FM 529 Animal Hospital, they were asking me for money. I took my 3 year old dog in, as I thought he a tooth infection. After charging me $48 dollars for the office visit, the doctor told me he would have to charge me another $250 dollars to put my dog under to look in his mouth. I've NEVER known a vet that could not get a dogs mouth open. He insisted this was the only way to see in my dogs mouth. I love my dog very much and trusted this was the right thing to do. Before the doctor would put my dog under, I had to go back to the front desk and pay the $250. I'm now feeling like I'm being totally ripped off but want the best for my dog. The doctor brings me back to the room while my dog was laying there motionless with tubes going down his throat - telling me his mouth and teeth looked fine. I had tears in my eyes the whole time and did not feel this was necessary for me to see. The doctor should have been more professional and told me what he found. I then went back to the front desk and set up another appointment to bring my dog back in a week for a follow up appt. the receptionist also told me the doctor wanted me to give my dog a prescription and told me the 8 pills would be $70 dollars. I have already spent almost $300 dollars and could not afford the additional $70 and asked her to check with the doctor to see if he could reduce the price of the medicine. The doctor said no. I googled the medicine and found on 1800 Petmeds ... 10 pills for $24 dollars. I knew right then that FM 529 Animal Hospital did not have my pets best interest at heart. The only thing the care about is how much money you can pay them. I feel they performed a very expensive needless test. Please trust me and choose another vet that will genuinely care about your pet. read more

DO NOT FALL PREY TO THESE VULTURES! At first, I was pleased with the examination of my new puppy and the prices of the service I received 4 weeks ago. On the first visit, the vet told me my puppy had both round worm and hook worm and offered one fix-it-all pill for $20 and another medicine that was way out of my price range. I was given a stern talking about how important it is to act now to prevent later. I told him that the owner of the puppy had given her a de-wormer and flea medicine a week before I picked her up. Since she had already had her de-wormer given one week prior, I didn't want to give her anything else for fear it would cause a side-effect. He insisted that if a vet didn't give her the medicine, it didn't count. I then doubted what the vet said he saw, as I had not seen any worms in her poo and haven't seen any in the last 4 weeks that I've had it. Today, I took her back for her second exam and set of shots. He didn't examine her at all. The nurse took her weight and temperature then he came in and gave her the shots and walked out of the room. He didn't ask me questions or ask if I had any concerns or questions. So, I asked the nurse if I could speak to the vet really quickly. I asked if he could check her again for worms before I gave her anything else. At this point he became agitated and snapped at me. He raised his voice telling me that he wasn't going to waste his time testing if I wasn't going to buy the de-wormer from him. I was caught completely off guard! I asked if I could come back for her last set of shots in a month and get a prescription for the 3 in 1 worm, tick, and flea chewable. He declined and said he wouldn't help anyone that didn't buy the medicine he offered. Now, I don't know what vet's make and I am far from an expert on that kind of work but I think this guy was completely out-of-line and his primary focus was on the green dollar and not the health of my puppy. If he doesn't want to help people that can't afford his overpriced worm medicines and at least bring him business by getting their shots, then I have no desire to take my puppy there again. Sadly, he just lost out an opportunity for another set of shots, rabies shot, and spay. I'll take my business elsewhere, find a vet that will treat me like a human being and give me the prescription I need to make sure I have a healthy animal. There was no need for his tantrum. I now firmly believe this place is a fraud and shouldn't be caring for pets. read more

We recently moved to the area and found a small kitty. We took him into the vet knowing full well that he would need all shots and possibly de-worming meds. I asked beforehand and they seemed fairly reasonable and comparable to the other places I had called. We chose this one over the other because our neighborhood had an ad in the local newsletter for them so I thought they were recommended. When I got there- the appt took about 15 min. 10 min I waiting and 5 min max in the appt. The Dr told me that the kitty had worms (which I had expected) and to get the prescriptions at the front. Little did I know that they were trying to SCREW me here. I paid $80 for exam and all the new kitty shots before I even went in for the exam. Totally reasonable. However, the gal at the front said it would be $150 JUST for the de-worming meds after the exam. I about gasped in surprise! Is this real life? I asked why they hadn't said anything about that over the phone before I got there? I had mentioned it over the phone and to the Dr even before the exam. I had looked the prices up before and had never heard of them being this expensive. I told the gal up front just this. Do you know what she said to me?? "Sorry- if you don't like our prices you can take your business elsewhere". Wow! So you know what? I did just that and walked right out. As having been an office manager for 8 years- I would NEVER treat a patient or customer like that. Horrible service and gouging prices for meds. The exam and shots may be reasonable but they will try to bite you elsewhere. read more

The vet here is a complete asshole. He tries to be your friends at first to get your money. Our dog was very sick and he took us for almost $400 then told us our dog had to be put on antibiotics and electrolytes which would cost $400. We told him that we could get the money the next day and he told us that he wasn't no BANK. Well he sure as hell took our money like one though. I told him to have a heart and give us the medicine and we will pay him in full the next day. I offered to even leave something of value worth more that $400 and he kept on saying he wasn't a bank. I then got really mad and told him to go fuck him self and that he didn't have no heart and cares for nothing but the money. He told me he would call the cops and for me to go to hell. I was very close into giving him one hell of a ass whooping but I contained myself and drive off. This place does not need to be caring for animals. He doesn't care for them. His prices are outrageous. Instead of putting dogs down he needs to put himself down. This place doesn't even deserve one star. This place needs to be shit down ASAP. I advise you to not talk your animal here. I really hope he sees this review and contacts me because I would like to give him a piece of my mins again. read more

I'm new to the area and my 5 mo puppy had been coughing. It was a Saturday so I called and they did get us in right away. That's the nicest thing I can say. They charged a $65 office visit that I was required to pay before we were even seen, then we were prescribed two different dewormers for alleged roundworm infection and antibiotics for the cough. Some of the medications didn't have a label and the tech at the front didn't even know what they were when I was asking. It was $300. It seemed steep so I called a vet friend and explained the situation to her. She informed me the antibiotics I was given don't even treat kennel cough, and that one of the dewormers was specifically for tapeworm, which was never discussed in the office. I wish I had read the reviews ahead of time. I felt lied to and swindled. My dog also didn't have kennel cough (got a second opinion), but a simple case of an irritated esophagus (which doesn't require antibiotics). The prices were outrageous, and the medications didn't even treat the problem. This guy shouldn't even be practicing, and I have reported him to the AVMA board. More people should do so. read more

This place is horrible thay are vary. Ignorent people that don't know how to treat pets rights and thay just over charge for nothing I went to the corner vet one time and I love it this place I'm always skeptical about I don't trust it and I hate that since February I had to spend over 900$ just on vists n shots n thay didint even give the right shots there is so much worst shit I can say about this place all I can say there never full n that should tell u something right off the god dam bat wish I was smarter and never went there to begin with and now I'm trying to get my dogs shot record n thay have the nerve to charge me 25$ when I shouldint pay anything when u go to the vet thay are. Automatically supposed to give you a copybut these bastards oh no and that's not even the worst part I just signed the paper it says it will be done in 15 minutes but they tell me I'll be done in two weeks so now my dog has to wait to get the shots he needs Save your money and go somewhere where it's worth it because this place will charge arm and a leg and it ain't worth shit read more

This place is only good if you have no where to go. I have been here a few times and very instance was a bad one. He had to put my dog down and could not wait for me to find a cremation service to be able to pick him up before they closed. And if I wanted them to keep my dead dog over night there was a fee of 125.00. Of course I could do it so that was one story. The next I came in to have a dog looked at. It was an emergency. A young lady came in crying holding her dog that was bleeding on the floor. They wanted the lady to pay 85.00 before they did anything. The poor lady did not have the money and was begging to pay them when her check came in on Wednesday. They sent her out the door crying holding her dog. Why not look at it and give her a little ease by saying look you need to take it somewhere tonight or clean her up and try your best. Nothing. Not a word just go somewhere else. That was rough. Didn't think the first thought should only be about money. I was charged 300.00 for my dog to get a shot and two prescriptions. She had open cuts and he didn't even bother cleaning them off. Told me I could use peroxide to clean it if I wanted. I just took my dog and left. There is an excellent vet that I love going to down the road from here but they don't have late hours. He is great I would let you know who he is but since I have told people about him before he has been getting a lot of business. Best vet ever. Hint: clay rd animal clinic. Dr. Ansari accused me of lying and being forgetful and wanted to bet on that........... Seriously unprofessional and extremely rude. I didn't come to argue, but ask why charge me $20 for him to write a prescription for 90 days when he can do it for a year. First few visits, he was really nice, but lesson learned the hard way. Blood test cost $399 for my pomeranian but you have to go back next week for another blood test that cost $85. Makes no sense and he charged me $50 for 25 10mg pills of phenobarb. All this Dr cares about money in his pocket!!!! read more
