horrible service I took my dog in because he was throwing up and not feeling well. They took him in and they told us first that they were gonna do blood work on him. Then they told me they were gonna do X-rays. They found out my dog digested a plastic bag. We waited in the room and the vet came out and explained how they tried to take that plastic bag out of his rectum but they stopped because he was crying in pain. My dad had explained to me how he did not feel comfortable because usually in other facilities they show us what they pulled out of your pets.Keep in mind they did not show us the bag they took out and the whole thing was just absurd. My dog had a leg injury this evening and I called Vcare clinic at the end of the day and they were able to get us in last minute. Everyone was really nice and polite even at the end of the day. We showed up and they took Bruce right back and we were put into a waiting room immediately. The vet assistant was really nice and asked a lot of questions to get a good diagnosis of my dog's issues. What a rip off!!! I normally don't leave reviews but this time I simply had to. Dr. Sumanth Polikepahad is a crook and is beyond unprofessional. I took my dogs in today for some vaccines, to which they had done in the back. They brought them out to me and at checkout the receptionist Carolina charged me $320 for a "consultation with the vet" and the vaccines. A consultation which they did NOT have. When I asked why I was getting charged for that when we didn't see/speak to the vet. Dr. Polikepahad quickly came out trying to examen them so I could pay. I expressed how ridiculous that was, and unnecessary being that we were already in the lobby ready to leave. They still forced me to pay despite the unfairness. I will never go back nor will I recommend to anyone else unless you're trying to get ripped off. read more

I've been visiting V-Care Pet Clinic for about four years and have seen it decline over time. In January 2023, I had to euthanize one of my dogs there, and it was a terrible experience. The pain my dog endured was distressing due to them restraining her during the process. Despite that memory, I continued to visit for maintenance medication for my other dog. During my second visit, the vet techs handled my dog poorly, so I decided only to pick up her medication from then on. When I called to request her medication, the front desk assured me I could pick it up at my earliest convenience. However, today when I went to get it, the receptionist refused because they insisted on a physical exam first for me to purchase Credelio (a flea and tick medication), despite my dog being at home and nowhere near the facility. Normally, this would be fine, but after the last visit, I don't trust them to handle my dog properly. I explained that my dog was in pain and needed her medication immediately, and I will schedule a physical exam at my earliest convenience because I am very busy. Instead of helping, the heavy-set receptionist lady began to argue with me. She began to get volatile, unprofessional, and disgusting. I asked to speak with the doctor, hoping to avoid conflict, but the doctor refused to see me, despite my loyalty and the money I've spent here. To make matters worse, the doctor was still taking appts after I requested to speak with them, keeping me waiting there for an hour. If i could give 0 stars I would. I suggest finding a better clinic that truly values its long-term customers and treats them and their pets with care and respect. read more

We have just changed vet services. I do not allow anyone to take my JRT without me being present, but due to the virus and requirements I had no choice. This was the first that my JRT seemed like he did fine on his own, did not come back to me limping or tattle tale about being mistreated in any way... he came out happy with the technician - amazing! I also found comfort in speaking with Dr. Poli - very pleasant, to the point and very informative. His staff is wonderful and very helpful.. This is by far the worst vet I've ever experienced!!!!! No they're not compassionate and care about animals. I took my pet to them for an examination and we ask about her ears and that it look on the dirty side and that we thought it could be leading up to an ear infection. They told us she don't have an ear infection but to clean it.. I'm not a vet and I can tell something's wrong with our pets ear.. I cleaned her ears the best I could and waited and called back about it and they tell me the same thing" just to clean it" not even a week later look at my baby's ear!!! She's in pain and it looks really bad!! I wouldn't spend another penny in that place!!!!!!! And not to mention I took her back for the 3rd time hoping they'll make this right and they told me I would have to pay another exam fee and some other crappy fee to treat the ear not even a week later...WORSE VET EVER read more

This place is by far the most unprofessional place I've ever encountered. My French bulldog went in to be treated for a C-Section last night. They scheduled it for this morning and my partner and I have been speaking with them through out the day. We got a phone call this morning saying we have 7 puppies! We were very excited about that considering how rare it is for French bulldogs to have the large of a litter. A couple hours after the vet all us to tell us they prematurely did the c-section and all the puppies died. They had been dead for several hours and neither the doctor or the nurse called to let us know. It wasn't until 3 o clock, an hour before they close did I call them and say hey what's going on with my dog? The nurse still didn't tell me what happened. I had to literally get it out of her when she sail they're all dead! We then proceeded to come pick up the mother and they had her in the lobby in het cage with her dead puppies in a box next to her like they were just trash! NO ONE!!!!!!! Including the doctor Dr. Sumanth Polikepahad showed NO remorse at all! They then tried blame us the clients and say you told us she was ready to give birth! DON'T GO HERE!! THEIR LICENSE SHOULD BE REVOKED!!!! My dogs had been going there for about a month until one of my dogs started developing an ear infection. When my daughter informed them about it they said that "it's nothing. She'll be ok." The doctor also said that she felt "uncomfortable" giving the shots in front of my daughter so she sent the receptionist to do it. The fact that they did that speaks volumes now. They didn't know that I own a pet shop and see ear infections on a regular. When we took her back, less than a week later, they told us that we would have to pay for another visit and ear exam, no exceptions. Not to mention we bought my dog flea and tick medicine there and gave it to her. Four days later she's covered in fleas! When I took my dog back, they said "it takes a few weeks for the medication to kick in." Who the hell says that?? They're obviously uneducated about pets! It really hurts to see my dog in pain and the fact that they're so money hungry and don't really care for pets hurts even more! I noticed my cat had tapeworms, and I was lucky enough to snag their last available appointment, and I'm so grateful it worked out that way! They are incredibly affordable; vet visit $30, fecal test $25, and $16 for tape worm treatment... an office visit to my regular clinic would have been $75, and that's not including treatment. The office staff was nice and helpful and the veterinarian, Dr. Polikepahad was very knowledgeable and put my fears at ease with this situation (as I considered burning my house down when I noticed the worms after petting my cat on the bed), and was even willing to answer my other questions I had regarding my other cat; I am now switching vets, and my other cat has an appointment with them on Monday. My puppy was sick overnight so I wanted to have someone see to her first thing in the morning when they opened. I was surprised at how quickly the receptionist was at getting my appointment made and how nice and professional she was. Other places you call and they sound aggravated but she was sympathetic to my situation and had the vet call me and walk me through next steps so I could make the decision on her care. It's very unfortunate that I have to right this review because this clinic was the first I took my dog ever. I understand due to covid we're not allowed to be inside of the clinic with our dog, so we would drop off our dog and wait outside. The clinic was good at first, but this last visit definitely didn't ease us at all. Our dog was scratching severely and she was getting bald spots. I called the clinic to set an appointment, to her there, waited, and got her back. They gave me pills for her allergy and shampoo for her bath. Didn't fix the problem and it got worst. I'm not a vet but beagles start having a weird oder in their ears and I know that's not normal. I would hope that they would do a thorough check on her and catch everything to address the issue. $100+ later, nothing was improving, so I set up another appointment, took her back, and they stated that the would have  to give her another pill and possibly more pills if that didn't work. So basically my dog is a test animal. They stated that they didn't check her ears the first time and that they had to keep testing her and if the medication they give her works. The veterinarian didn't seem to ease my fiance of any sort or take accountability for they're mistake. So we decided to take our dog to another vet and they're so much more better, thorough, and even allow you to come in with your dog. Our dog was always uneasy there for some reason, maybe because we're not in the room with her. In conclusion, we decided move forward with another vet and part ways with V Care. They may work out with alot of people, but unfortunately it didn't work out this time with us. read more
