The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session. Tracy has been exceptional from start to finish and the follow up after he was home was icing on the cake! She followed up daily to give us a report with photos and videos and continued to check in for weeks! We have the sweetest dog and our family could not be happier with our decision to put our pup into doggie school here!! The grounds are sprawling and beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the value far exceeded my expectations. We paid $995 per week, so about 2K total. I looked at some other programs which were about 2,800 with kinda crappy looking properties and very pushy sales people. We are forever grateful to ADT and Tracy! Thank you for our "new" dog!

I found them on Yelp and when I asked our vet for a boarding recommendation, they mentioned The Pet Resorts. I called to schedule my dog's "vacation." They took down all of my information and sent me an email with everything we agreed upon, including a furminator bath and groom. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They also seemed very knowledgeable. I received an email and phone call reminder of our dog's stay with them. They suggested that I fill out the new customer packet prior to arriving. However, I had printer issues and was not able to. They printed it for me when I arrived and I filled it out in their spacious lobby. It was lengthy and thorough. Their nightly rate of $40 per dog is for their Standard Runs, $52 per dog for their Pet Suites. Add $5 per night per dog during Holiday periods. Half day fee for pickups after 1 PM. Pick-up and drop off anytime during their business hours. When I picked up my fur baby, he looked so good! Probably the best groom he's ever gotten. We were very impressed. They also gave me a report card that accurately described his personality. He was definitely tired when he got home. The Pet Resorts board cats as well. They offer a pet taxi to pick up and drop off your pet for an additional charge. We will continue to use TPR for our dog's future vacations.

I brought our 10…read moremonth old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Trinity Grace, in for overnight boarding as well as a couple one on one training sessions with the owner Greg and myself while I was housesitting in the area. I have neuropathy in my hands and leash walking has definitely been challenging for me so, I was hoping Greg could give me some pointers. Never did I expect Trinity to be able to walk next to me without a leash. Where to begin.... Vanda, the receptionist, was so kind, patient and sweet! She was extremely helpful with my multitude of questions before, during and after. I am very much the helicopter mom for our fur baby...lol. I've never done something like this so Vanda was amazing answering all my questions. You could genuinely see the love she had for all her fur and human customers. Trinity boarded overnight and it was obvious she was very comfortable and connected with Ashlynn that was giving her some trail walks and taking care of her. Due to the limited amount of time I had in town I was only able to get two sessions in with Greg. It is mind blowing how much he taught Trinity but more so me in that time during our sessions. I loved the analogies and thought provoking scenarios he provided in order for me to relate to our pup and her thought process. I had always heard it's more about training the owner versus training the dog. Which I definitely see now. Greg even told me by the time we left on the second visit that Trinity would walk next to me without a leash. And she did! Now I have a lot of work to do still especially when we go back home down to South Georgia. But I definitely look forward to bringing Trinity back in a couple months to work with Greg a little bit more. Because I had to go several times I really feel like I got to know the staff. Trinity was very excited to see Vonda, Ashlynn and Greg. As I like to say, Trinity did the wiggle butt dance every time we arrived! Regardless if you need doggy daycare, overnight boarding or training the Peacefulness & Serenity of this facility is like no other and your pup will be in GREAT hands. This was such a precious find! I also loved all the little extras that could be added on. The irony is when we lived up in this area 8 years ago, our German Shorthaired Pointer Rascal used to run to a farm behind us. Little did we know it was Atlanta Dogworks. It was pretty impressive that Vanda remembered our Sweet Rascal Girl too. That sure was a sign that Trinity was in good hands! Danger!! I have two…read moredogs, both of whom have gone to Unleashed since I rescued them in Jan 2017 and Aug 2018. My little one, a ten year old Bichon Frise, has been grievously injured there twice. The first time was on Dec 30. She was attacked by a large dog, required surgery, came home with multiple drains in her neck and body. After that attack, I was told that they were increasing from three to five the number of dog "groupings" to group them by not just temperament but by size as well. I was also told there was additional staff training and that they were increasing dog supervision staffing. That clearly did not happen. Yesterday, my dog was attacked again. I was told it was by a Golden. My little dog was in with much larger dogs. She came home from surgery with twenty-seven staples across four wounds, which were each two inches long. While I was waiting at the vet, I was aghast to see a just-posted review by Jason, whose beagle was attacked there twice, in February and the day before my dog's most recent attack. That's four in five months: Dec, Feb, two days in a row in May. Why does Unleashed refuse to keep small dogs separate from large dogs? While it's true that Unleashed covered the vet bills, this utter disregard for pet safety is reprehensible. I reported the most recent incident to Fulton County Animal Control last night; they took a thorough report. I am also pursuing this with Animal Protection/Dep't of Ag, the agency that licenses kennels, groomers, daycares, etc. My beloved pets will never again go to Unleashed. I believe they should be shut down unless they make meaningful changes to keep safe the dogs in their care. Allowing large dogs to commingle with small dogs is a recipe for heartbreak and disaster. They knew after the Dec 30 attack on my dog that it was a problem, yet did nothing - thus allowing three more attack incidents. Shameful. There may have been other attacks that I'm not aware of. I'm not one to post reviews, good or bad, but people should know - especially if their dogs are small - that Unleashed is not a safe facility.

Our dog Nessie has struggled at other boarding and daycare facilities, and there was a noticeable difference when we picked her up the first time from the Ranch -- she was happy, well-taken care of, and I loved being able to get email updates as we were on vacation abroad. We've loyally boarded our dog at the Ranch for the past two years, probably boarding her 4-5 times a year. I love knowing that the team is on site all hours of the day and love that there are add-on options for boarding. Since Nessie prefers solo-play, it's great for us to add on nature walks to know she's getting in more exercise and has time to play and sniff and get to know the staff. I love that there doesn't seem to be high turnover in the staff so Nessie (and us) can get to know everyone, and vice versa. We haven't explored all the other activities and training opportunities they have, but would love to in the future and know we'll have a great experience and that the cost will be worth it. Another plus -- they give great baths! I still don't know what they do to curb the bad dog breath, but it's awesome! :) Thank you so much for taking such good care of our four-legged child! Christine and Kevin have welcomed Moonlight into their family from her first visit. They have been the most accommodating. While most places are hesitant to board a German Shepherd, after Moonlight met Christine, she immediately followed her commands and have bonded with both of Christine & Kevin. They play with her and take her on walks - two of Moonlight's favorite activities. Moonlight has separation anxiety issues, but she has found a second home at Crabapple Bed & Bones. For a dog who doesn't even let other people touch her, on her most recent visit, Moonlight came home nicely shampooed and groomed. Having Moonlight under Christine and Kevin's care while we are away gives us the peace of mind knowing that she is well taken care of. Many thanks to Crabapple Bed & Bones family.
