I called at 1:00 pm hoping to get an appointment later in the day and even though she was fully booked, she was still able to fit us in at 3:30 pm. I asked for a short haircut for both dogs and she followed my instructions perfectly. My dogs can be pretty fuzzy and a bit whiny, but Mi C. handled them with great care and patience. Happy Puppy was a life changing find as a dog owner. My dog is pretty aggressive and has been to about 4-5 groomers and always had negative things said about him. He was in extreme need of a grooming, with mats and hot spots after his previous groomer cancelled his appointment due to his temper. Happy Puppy took him in with only a few hours of notice. Happy Puppy was able to not only groom him but gave my dog his first positive grooming experience. My dog has always left appointments extremely anxious, but he came back from Happy Puppy with a smile on his face. I cannot wait to bring my other dog who has a much better attitude than my boy. First time they added multiple extra fee bcoz my dog moves a lot etc... it is true but this is the first time i got charge for this. Fine! Woke up this morning and desperately needed a groomer. This was the third place I called. The owner was nice enough to let me come in at 9:30am. I just got the call that he was ready. I have an 11 year old Shih Tzu. He had fleas and horribly long hair for this hot weather. When I picked him up, he looked very happy and the owner was very helpful. He informed me of a scab on Spanky's back and he told me how to heal it. For the grooming, haircut, nail clipping, and flea bath he charged me $40. Normally, they charge for the flea bath but because I was a first time customer, they waived the charge. He looked sooo happy and he gave us a treat bag for 4th of July! I've been used this store for three years. No more. Owner always told me for extra fees every time whatever he got the freaking reason that complained about my dog. He never mention about the price in drop time. Always pickup time. I've been there every 4 months for three years. Only first day he charged me right price then I had to pay extra $5 or $10 every time. First time I have seen that this kind of pet shop business owner. I tried to understand. However, this owner has bad business mind and it makes me stress enough. People who gave 5 stars review, they might first time visitor. We have brought our yorkie pup here since he was a baby. He's 11 now. He recently had surgery and couldn't be bathed so we waited..... needles to say he was straggly. Luckily he's in an inside dog so he wasn't filthy. Anyways. I brought him in and explained the shave areas and why we were there...... she went back and forth with me for 3 minutes on why we should maybe wait another week before grooming him. I plainly told her "No, look at him, I already waited a week after the doctor okayed us getting him groomed." "He needs to be groomed look at him." So she took him and said they would call when he was ready..... they never called so I finally called just to check on him and they said he had been ready but no one came to pick him up yet.... I said I was on my way and went and got my dog. Never mentioning the fact that they said they would call me when he was ready. I pick up my dog, which they said he had fleas.... There was no way but I was already running late and just paid the extra $5. I wasn't going to waste time arguing the truth over $5. I would have paid extra regardless because of how stringy his hair was getting. So I take my dog with me to pick up my kids from school and as we are walking outside I notice his back looks really red. Almost like it was bleeding and he kept licking at it. I picked him up and you could literally see the marks the shaver left on his back! I was so upset and now know why he was shaking and wiggling so bad when I picked him up. Dumb me just thought he was really excited to see me‍. The next day is was not red anymore but a couple places had some light scratches you could see and feel. Needless to say that was not okay. This place has really gotten neglectful and rushed. They need to remember they're grooming a family member of someone's and not just grooming to maximize time for more customers. I made a call towards happy puppy to ask if I can get a quote on how much it would be to get my dog cleaned up(just a shower) since it can be pretty messy at home , a lady answered and told me I had to make a appointment which I did with her over the phone and told me what type of dog and I had and what not, I have a medium size dog roughly about 22-25lbs who is pretty hairy. She told me it would be $45 and told me to come In the next day at 10am. As i come to attend my appointment she tells me she's fully book and to bring proof of vaccinations of my dog. Why did you not just tell me that over the phone?! The two ladies looked confused as like if the never wrote down my Information. Instead of helping me rebook the appointment she said to call, which made no sense instead of helping me right there and then. Overall I was not satisfied, it was a waste of time driving down just to be told they're fully booked even though you made an appointment. read more

I called before bringing my 2 small dogs in to make sure that they weren't too busy to take them. The lady said it was no problem. So we brought them right in. She said that they would be ready by 5pm. I thought that was late because they close at 3pm. But I said ok, we will be back at 5:00. We came back at 5 and the man there said that they wouldn't be ready for at least another hour! He said that they never told me 5:00, but he wasn't there when the lady took our dogs. Now it was 6:00 and we hadn't received a call. When I called back, they said that they would call us. They finally called at 8pm and said our dogs were ready!! I would have brought them another day if I would have known it would take that long! Our poor dogs were locked up for 7 hours! Never again will I bring my dogs here! I took both of my dogs to happy puppy and one of dog was stabbed or bite and No one told me when I picked them up. I notice a line of fur glued together So I figured they had nicked her while cutting her hair. 1 week later I notice my dog Tiffany licking her arm and when I checked it out she had a hole the size of the end of a pencil. I took her to the vet and she has to be put under and the skin around the hole had to be cut off and stitched up $272.50 later my poor dog has to be on meds and wear a cone and away form our other dog for 10 days Happy Puppy did paid for the fee but it's nothing compare to what my 4 pound toy poodle Tiffany is going through right now . Just took my min pin kids here again today at 11am and picked them up at 4. Not only was it convenient for me, she was so nice and calm with my dogs. Keep in mind that personalities of a min pin can be feisty and very territorial so they need their space and don't warm up to people easily. I loved how she pet them and walked me through the back, and told me she wanted them to sniff her and feel comfortable. All the dogs there seemed happy and jumping around with joy. It was only $25 for a bath, nail trim, anal cleaning, ear cleaning and a cute collar! I also tipped her $10 per dog because I was so happy with the way they turned out. My dogs are cuddling next to me, smelling and looking nice with no damage done. I have been taking my 2 dogs here every 2 months for over a year & a half now. I brush my dogs every other day, express their anal glands when needed, brush their teeth twice a week, clean their ears once a week, trim their nails when needed & bathe them once a month at home. I get them groomed when their fur gets too long which is every 2 months. In the beginning I asked what the price was for each dog & I was told it was $40 for any type of cut. Today I was asked to pay $45 for each dog & I asked the owner why $45 now & was told her regular customers pay $50 but since I have 2 dogs she's giving me a discount. That's a lie! I don't think her regular customers pay $50, well maybe the ones who own a big dog, both my dogs weigh under 20 pounds. I won't be taking my dogs here anymore. read more

Only had one problem with Happy Puppy and that was when he got a pretty deep cut in one area but they paid for his visit to the vet and apologized.
