    Happy di Basket

This restaurant has a huge variety of Indian food from street food, North Indian, South Indian, Hakka, Momos, burgers, Indian wraps and pizzas, and mots of dessert options. You come in, find a table and use the touch screen kiosks to order and pay. After paying, don't just take the purchase receipt, after the main receipt is printed, there slips printed for each food station where you need to go to pick up your food. There are screens around the restaurant which tell you when your order numbers are ready. We tried a variety of food. The highlights were the the Happy di Basket chaat, chana bhatura, mysore masala dosa, layered Amritsari kulcha, chili garlic veg momos and a veg thali. Chana tasted just like I had in Amritsar late last year and the kulcha was super crispy and tasty. The only negative was the masala omelette pao. It tasted bland. It had a generous amount of egg which tasted good on its own but the pao seemed to hide all the spices. It could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall a good place with a huge variety of well made Indian food in a nice looking restaurant.

Great ambiance with good music. It is a self order place hence no front desk service to guide you how to place the order. 4 machine by the entrance to take order like at McDonald. They have a screen to check when the order is ready and self pick up when food is ready. Lots of seating but many seats are not clean... still have dirty tray and dirty table. I wouldn't recommend if you are in rush... either order ahead or have at wait at least 30mins for my dosa order. It was a good portion for sure. I would come back again with friends to chill and have food. I want to try those puff bread... looks good when it is freshly made.

Refresh Juice - Açai beauty bowl - $10 - açai, avocado, coconut oil, almond milk topped with fresh fruit and oats

I've always wanted to try Refresh, but never had the opportunity to have it until today, when I was…read moremaking a stroll through Downtown Guelph. They use the highest quality organic fruits and vegetables and are most famous for their cold-pressed juices. Instead of getting a cold-pressed juice, I decided to get one of their açai bowls. Here's my rundown: Food There were three açai bowls to choose from - classic, beauty, and soul. I got the beauty açai bowl which had the açai, avocado, coconut oil, and almond milk blend topped with bananas, granola, coconut flakes and fresh strawberries. The açai blend was smooth and rich in flavour while the fresh fruit and oats made for great flavours and textures. It was a very refreshing treat to get and had the perfect balance between all ingredients. Atmosphere Can't really comment on the atmosphere here because the store is quite small and has minimal seating. There were about 4 high chairs to sit but it's more meant to be used while you're waiting for your drinks or bowls. It's small like most downtown cafés and this place is more so for those grab and go type of people. Service Service was really friendly and the employee was helpful in helping me make a decision about the type of bowl to get. No complaints here; they were really inviting and patient with my indecisiveness. Price I paid $10 for the açai bowl! A little pricy but you're paying for quality organic food here so it's worth every dollar. Verdict Refresh is indeed a refreshing experience has they use only the finest organic fruits to make their products. I'm excited to return here to try their juices and other açai bowls. Definitely worth a try if you're roaming around downtown Guelph. A well-deserved 5/5 experience!

There were oats mixed in and it was topped with a variety of fruit like strawberries, bananas, and kiwi. The portion size was perfect. I frequent another smoothie bowl spot and while they are delicious too, the portions are massive and I'm often leaving them unfinished. As a treat, my friends and I split the Nutella waffle - I'll admit I am actually not a Nutella lover and in fact, I think that may have been the third time I've even had it! It was delicious and a nice treat to finish of a meal. FYI this is a wonderful plant-based spot. Everything here is gluten and dairy free, which I really appreciate.

We used the online service and that was super efficient and we literally just walked in grabbed the bag and left. So I do recommend that. Honestly not a bad experience. Whole thingy was very healthy and "better for you" which wasn't a bad thing necessarily. I will warn that the actual store is really small so it is not really a good place to eat there but they do have seats if needed.
