Pani puri
Jennifer G.

Had the pani puri which came with three sauces. I enjoyed the traditional slightly sour and slightly sweet sauce the most. It's always fun to break the shells, fill them with potato and sauce, and eat it in one flavourful bite. The atmosphere is very casual, almost like a fast food environment. Staff seemed friendly. I would have liked to try their Thali, but they said that it is currently unavailable. When it does become available, I will be back to try it.

Chhole with Stuffed Bhature
Bev K.

Walked by a couple of times and it's always busy. I've noticed it's usually packed with Punjabi or East Indians so it must be good -- good enough for the people to eat there. Went in once to check the menu and I was overwhelmed with the options. Don't worry, brought reinforcements a few weeks later. My friends from the motherland were able to order on my behalf. The man working behind the counter was also super helpful and provided recommendations. It's a fast, casual dining type of place. Ended up ordering a little bit of everything. It's good vegetarian food but a bit spicy for my liking. Most of the food is on the spicier side btw. The chhole with stuffed bhature was my favourite. Starting the year off right!

Pav bhaji
Parul M.

Tried momos, spring rolls and pav bhaji. Everything was bit spicy but tastes good. Service guy was pretty good, he suggested all the best things to try. Place is too small for so many people. They can make the ambiance better.

Yum! Very good flavors and textures. Loved both the Malai Chaap and the Steamed Paneer momos. Friendly service and good prices.

I tried the Trippy Truffle (cauliflower crust pizza with garlic aioli, roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes, baby arugula, and portobello mushrooms, topped with a drizzle of truffle oil) - and it was amazing! If all pizzas were like this (thin crust, vegan, with cauliflower crust, great veggie toppings), I'd be eating pizza more often.

The storefront is in a underground food court in Torontos' financial district. It's quite clean, small, but efficient. I ordered the 3 piece vegan wings (everything here is plant based FYI) and an Asian Fusion bowl. The employee taking my order was very friendly and quick. Got my number to wait for and within 5 minutes I was on my way. Good service. However my first thing I tried after I got back to my hotel I ate the wings. Holy sodium. Almost like eating straight salt. The wings were way too salty even before dipping them in the Frank's wing sauce. Almost inedible salty for me. Minus two stars for that. The Asian Fusion bowl wasn't as salty, but still pretty strong bit of sodium. The veggies were tasty, my protein choice which was tempeh which was cooked and seasoned well. Overall not bad, but maybe let natural flavors come out in the food instead of turning towards tons of salt.

They had so many variations of these bowls and lots of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. The service via Uber Eats was quick and had no issues with that. When it came to the food, I was certainly underwhelming. I was not a fan of the Smoky Chipotle bowl and had thought I would love it based on the ingredients in the bowl. I found it lacked flavour and was just completely bland. The sauces had a weird aftertaste and I just did not enjoy the bowl overall. I hope the rest of their bowls are good and I just got a one off not pleasant one. I don't think I would be ordering again from this place. 5/10 recommend!

I was downtown and stumbled upon this grab-and-go spot, and it was exactly what I needed. I ordered two burrito bowls and a soup, and the total was around $50. Honestly, it was worth every single dollar. What really sold me on this place is how precise they are--they literally measure out every portion of protein, vegetables, and fats. It's awesome for anyone who's tracking their intake or just appreciates getting a perfectly balanced meal. Beyond the great food, the staff was super friendly and genuinely helpful. The prices are totally fair for the quality you get. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area and looking for a quick, healthy bite.

Ordered the pad thai and it's on the more tart side. Missing umami, could use a but more salt. On the other hand the appetizer: rice roll with mushroom with that fish sauce is perfection, highly recommended. Large space, too much incense smell so if you're sensitive, be warned. Friendly staff. It's very quaint and pretty standard for the area, nothing flashy, just a simple neighbourhood restaurant. We went on a Friday around 11:30 AM and were the only table there, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. We ordered the bún bò Huế and the pad thai. Both were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. They did the job, but neither dish really stood out enough to make me crave a return visit specifically for them. That said, this is very much a no-fuss kind of place. Prices were on the more affordable side, around $15 per dish, which is always appreciated in Toronto. The atmosphere is casual, the service was straightforward, and the food came out without much of a wait. Overall, it probably wouldn't become my go-to spot, but as a vegetarian-friendly option in the area, it's a solid and easy choice if you're nearby and looking for something simple.

We made a reservation (highly recommended) which they were able to pull up since we got there 30 minutes early and starving. The entire restaurant had a beautiful, high end vibe without prices being too high for its own good. We started off with their delicious Bang Bang Broccoli and Kimchi Chick'n Baus, both of which I'd easily come back for more if this was a buffet line. The bang bang sauce was absolutely sensational and we dipped our tasty baos in it afterwards. For our mains, we divided up their Volcano Roll, Kelp Caesar Salad, and a Hawaiian Pizza. The roll was alright (I've had better at vegan sushi restaurants) but the salad and pizza were both extraordinary. In particular, the salad sent me and was a complete flavor and texture bomb. Highly recommend everyone getting this to share as it was an absolute standout. As much as we wanted room for dessert, our hunger was just too much from not eating all day. Everything here definitely hit the spot and would definitely return again the next time I'm in Toronto.
