Our experience was GREAT from the minute we walked in. Although young, the engaged staff was attentive and interactive. I was offered a tour of the facility; everything appeared clean, organized & well planned. Their app with access to camper play areas on video is a wonderful way to check in on your pet. I watched his interaction with other dogs and the staff, as well as other play areas and the staff thoroughly cleaning floors/sections when dogs went outside for a time. I am extremely satisfied with the care my little guy received here. I look forward to making it a regular socialization experience for him. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Diane and her team are incredibly professional, and I was confident my beloved monster-dog was in good hands. Will hates being kenneled, and leaving him at home when I was a way for the weekend was so much better for him. He didn't get anxious, and I knew he'd be more comfortable staying at home. I'm pretty sure he hated seeing me come home, because he had to go back to his less-spoiled lifestyle and had to share my couch (with me) again. Mother Hen Pet Sitting is a great option, and much better than a kennel for my dog who's use to a more solitary lifestyle.

My husband and I have used Mother Hen for about 5 months now for both trips and extra help during the week when our work schedules get crazy. We could not be happier. Most recently, Mother Hen took care of our pups for two weeks while we traveled abroad. I was super nervous about leaving my dogs for two weeks, but Diane was great. She provided lots of email and text updates to calm my nerves, and the pups were their happy-go-lucky selves when we arrived home. She also came over to our house prior to the trip so I could properly meet her and see how comfortable my dogs were with her, which was much appreciated! Dachshund's are goofy and can be very standoffish to strangers... I originally planned on taking the pups to a kennel for our big trip, but after touring a couple places (told you I am picky), I just couldn't get comfortable with the idea of leaving my dogs in a kennel, away from their normal environment. They are used to their routine at home and enjoy lounging in the sun or on the couch all day...and by hiring Mother Hen, they got to do that for two weeks during their "stay-cation" as we called it! :) We will continue to use Mother Hen for all of our traveling/crazy schedule needs. They are truly a great find if you are as overprotective about your pets as I am. :)

This is an update for Nana's Pet Sitting…read more This past year I have added a 5th dog to my group. At one point it was a foster dog that hated other dogs. Nana's Pet Sitting did a wonderful job at caring for my four and being quite creative at caring for my foster who was fearful around strangers. All was handled beautifully by Heidi and Linda. In the fall and at Christmas (2019) I was away and had adopted a 5th dog. This 5th dog is a puppy. Heidi came in 4 times a day as I always schedule and cared well for all of my dogs. There were medications to be given plus my dogs must be rotated due to one disliking one of my others. With the 5th it has caused Heidi to need more time which Linda gave her and which I agreed to cover financially! That old saying .. you get what you pay for!! If you want you pets to receive the best care .. call Linda Edwards with Nana's Pet Sitting. What I love about Linda .. she is direct .. no sugar coating. She has your pet's best interest and am so glad she is this way!!

Trust me, this is no easy feat!). Teddy usually falls asleep on the ride home from camp as she's so exhausted from her doggy adventures but you can tell how happy and incredibly well cared for she is during her time away. We've had issues with boarding facilities in the past (check my reviews if interested) which left us hesitant to booking, especially considering the expense that comes with larger breed considerations. However, not only does TCC have better care, facilities, and customer service; they are also easier on the checkbook. Teddy definitely has a home away from home in TCC, and even though our new move puts us another 15 minutes out, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

Now that she's an older dog, she gets bored and lonely so we bring her back. She fell right back in the routine. The establishment send out daily reports with photos to let us know how our dog behaved and what her demeanor was. They offer a variety of services whether boarding overnight or day visits. They've been in business for years. We trust them to take good care of our dogs. They're always sad and exhausted when we pick them up. I guess they get good exercise and bonding time with other dogs. Check them out.

We have been taking our puppy to the barker lounge for a couple months now and have really enjoyed…read moreit! For the first time, they need a 'meet and greet' this is a full day of daycare for free where they basically watch to see if your dog is an appropriate fit. It was hard to find a day that worked as they had specific times to drop off for the meet and greet. So that took a few weeks to get scheduled. When we finally got in there, they were very friendly and gave me a tour of the facility so I could see what it looked like. When I picked him up they told me how he did and that he 'passed'. Moving forward, you do have to book ahead of time to secure a spot for your dog. I have done it the day before and have not had a problem of them being full yet. They also post on their Instagram and on the door of the building if they have walk-in availability for the day without a reservation. You can book right on the website as well as purchase days of daycare online, and the more days you purchase, the more $$ you save. They do not have webcams and they don't do any sort of 'report card' at the end of the day, so we just assume that no news is good news with how he did, haha! They do have an Instagram and post many photos of dogs daily. Our dog has been featured about half the amount of days he's been there. When he comes home he is exhausted. Typically for that day and the day after! Last time we took him, he was so sleepy for almost 48 hours that we really debated if he was sick but then just realized he was exhausted from having a great day of daycare lol! They are open from 7-7 on the weekdays so convenient for work schedules. We will be back!
