If you are in this area and are craving Teriyaki there is no better place! We live way up north in Bothell and have not had teriyaki in such a long time as we have very specific wants and all the teriyaki places around us do not meet our standards. First off the salad that comes with the meals, the dressing is the main thing and this dressing is the dressing we had been missing for years. The size of the salad was pretty relevant as well. Both my wife and I shared one meal and gyozas and we still had leftovers! Both the Katsu and Teriyaki were perfection and there was a whole lot of it(some might think $18.99 is steep but it is WELL worth the price)! A side of Gyozas was I believe 7.50 and that came with 10! They also had a Pineapple soda which of course I had to try, it was like a carbonated dole whip. Not the healthiest, but darn tasty. Also I can't forget to mention the place was fairly busy for a Thursday at 1. The lady that took our order was very pleasant. She even walked over to our table to check on our meal, which I have not ever encountered in a Teriyaki restaurant, but that's the kind of place this is. Above and beyond. I am sad that we do not live in this area as I feel that they would know our names. We miss really good teriyaki and this place is the place to go if you want really good food! Had the spicy chicken teriyaki. The chicken was overcooked. The sauce seemed like regular teriyaki sauce but with dried whole peppers that I had to pick out. The veggies had broccoli (good) but also a bunch of large cuts of onion and dried green onion. I like veggies but these were not good. Came in on a Saturday afternoon. There was one table of people already eating. We were kindly greeted, and placed our order at the counter after looking at the menu briefly. We went with one shrimp fried rice, a Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, regular Chicken Teriyaki, and a Chicken Fried Rice. We opted for water and helped ourselves to water out of the fountain machine before selecting a table and sitting down. The tables are rather small, although there were 4 chairs, it was a bit challenging sitting 4 not very big adults to enjoy a meal comfortably. Those of us who ordered Teriyaki were brought out salads--iceberg with Asian style dressing. I much prefer Teriyaki spots that serve stir fried vegetables instead of this kind of salad--but to each their own. Shortly after the salad came out the food. The Chicken Fried Rice was HUGE! Shrimp Fried rice appeared to have slightly smaller serving, using bay shrimp with a few bigger shrimp. The portion size was great, but could use a little more umph (flavor). Teriyakis were both larger portions compared to a lot of other restaurants. The Spicy Chicken wasn't really spicy though, just served with several fried japones, but I did like that there were some vegetables stir fried in (bean sprouts, green and yellow/white onion, broccoli). Overall, I would give a rating of 3.5-decent Teriyaki with good size portions and kind service. We would return. read more

A coworker shared his amazing fried rice lunch with me and it was a hit. The pork fried rice had that seasoned flavor I'm looking for in fried rice. A little smoky from a bit of sauce. The portion was plenty for five people who devoured it. Hidden gem so I've been back for chicken teriyaki and spicy beef teriyaki, oh and of course the fried rice. After ordering food here nearly every month for the past 9 years, we've made our last order, unfortunately. This has been a few months in the making, but this was it... the end. We understand food prices have gone up, and this place is no different ($22 for beef ribs!). But the quality shouldn't diminish. I ordered the spicy chicken and the beef ribs. Also, I got the happy shrimp. They only gave us one salad instead of two. The chicken was awful. It was completely dry and had zero flavor. It was also tough as leather. Per the rave reviews I tried the Rainbow Rice. I honestly can't decide how I feel about it. The portion size was appropriate for the price. Service was friendly. There were tiny tiny shrimp I wasn't expecting and I'm not a seafood fan, but the flavor it added was mild. If my memory is right it had chicken, beef, shrimp, rice, edamame, corn.. a little bit of everything. The first few bites I was into it.. then a few minutes later I wasn't enjoying it any longer and figured I'd take it home. By the end of the day the smell of it turned me off so much I just couldn't eat the leftovers. The flavor of it was so mild and delicate I'm confused what it was that bothered me. The rice was a little dry, but I can get past that. I'll mostly chalk it up to the shrimp or maybe there was a fish sauce used in the stir fry? It was just slightly off. No wait staff, the staff at the order desk was nice and took our order, she did state that the portions were big so she would put our order in To go boxes and give us plates. The food was plenty. Me and my co-worker come here a lot for lunch. They have the BEST grilled chicken around. It is high quality chicken without all the rubbery fat that a lot of teriyaki places serve. The chicken has the right amount of char and is seasoned perfectly. It is so good, I get the teriyaki sauce on the side just to taste the delicious flavor of the actual chicken. I wish they served stir fried veggies with the lunch plates instead of a cold salad, that is the only downfall to this place. If you want stir fried veggies, they charge extra. BOOOOOO. They serve a very good california roll if you want a little sushi with your teriyaki, The lady working is always very sweet. They are fast, friendly, and efficient. In my mind Teriyaki Delight is about as good as teriyaki gets. Super big portions and well charred chicken. The salad dressing is mayo based with the right amount of sweetness. The fried rice, egg rolls and happy shrimp were piping hot and spot on. Teriyaki Delight is getting pretty close to becoming my go to spot. They are open until 9pm which is also nice.
