As good as a fast food Chinese food restaurant can be. I usually order from Kaiying or Happytown and both are pretty much the same.. I always get something from the Lunch Special because they give you a soup or a soda...I usuay get the hot and sour soup.. Pretty decent food and good service.

Please avoid ordering from this spot. I ordered fried rice from here and there was a piece of metal in the rice which caused a minor cut on my tongue.

Pretty good. I have been looking for a go to Chinese place around here. This could be it. Its the first place I'm actually willing to try a second time. I ordered fried wontons and an order of chicken lo mein. The chicken lo mein had a lot of cabbage in it but overall tasty and flavorful. Portions are large and I ordered a small. I'll be eating this for a week, haha. The fried wontons were good. Thought they would be cheese filled but they were pork I believe. Still tasty even though it wasn't what I was expecting. I really wanted chicken with bamboo shoots. Their menu on "all menu pages" shows bamboo shoots in their specialty but they insisted they didn't have any when I called to order. When I arrived for my takeout order I showed them it's listed on my phone and they directed me to their paper menu which does not show bamboo. A bit disappointed about that. I didn't have cash and as my first time there I didn't know they had a $12 minimum order for credit cards. They however told me if I got a drink I would be over $10 and they would let me use my card which was nice. But now I know for next time. Their online menu is on various sites but is out of date and prices are way off. I've taken a picture of their paper menu as of today 7/27/14 to hopefully help someone else. Oh and don't expect a fortune cookie with your food unless you pay for it.

Actually would like to give Happy Town 10 Stars as the food is fresh and tasty. They actually run out of our faves on occasion which is ok by me because that means it's fresh food. I watch them making food right in front of me - shrimp, green beans, wontons, etc. Say Mary across the street sent you and Jenny or Ivy will give you a beautiful smile and delicious food. BBQ Beef on a stick and shrimp are two of our faves!

Food is def not the same the last two times I ordered. Was initially a very good fast food joint. Think the chef or ownership has changed.

No frills, just straight up good food. Economical too! It's a mom and pop place, the husband is the chef, mom takes all orders and serves them so be patient if it takes a bit long as they have a lot of take out orders to fulfill (they often turn off delivery apps if they're busy with dine in). I love that they decorate the place with what's clearly their child/children's artworks (whoever they are is very talented). My absolute favorites: - fried rice with Sichuan brined vegetables and minced pork (this is pretty spicy but so addictive) - scallion fried rice (choose this if you can't handle heat) - bamboo shoots in chili sauce - fish filet with pickled cabbage soup - smoked tea duck Sichuan style (I recommend getting this dine in only not take out as it can get soggy, you want that hot crispy skin) Come for the food!

Their signature beef would have pretty decent in the hot pot if it weren't for such bland soup base. Everything else was standard but priced slightly higher than most places around Flushing. We also got two claypot rice, which were pretty big in size. Unfortunately, the balance of the ingredients and rice in thrown off with a higher ratio of rice. This made the claypot rice dishes less flavorful and not as enjoyable. Also, the preserved meat one was okay, but the eel version was extra dry. Servers were nice enough overall. However, my issue is that the space is so large and the waitstaff never seem to be around. I had to get up several times to find our server, or any server, to come and help us. It got annoying after the third or fourth time looking for more water or napkins. Anyway, I have been here twice and they are always relatively empty. I hope they can turn it around soon. Maybe they need to overhaul the menu. They definitely Otherwise, it's game over imho.
