How can you judge how good a Chinese American takeout restaurant is? Answer: fried chicken wings with pork fried rice and their egg drop soup. Keilly's passes this test with flying colors. Chicken wings on point. Pork fried rice has a ton of flavor. Egg drop soup isn't clumpy and the eggs are even distributed. This is my go to Chinese takeout spot because the food honestly just tastes great. I was very surprised with the low Yelp ratings and it didn't correlate with the quality of their food. As an Asian American that grew up on Chinese takeout, I can tell you this spot is legit. I don't normally post any reviews but the low ratings for this restaurant isn't called for. Judge Chinese takeout spots by the taste and quality of their food and not service. They are unapologetic and hospitality isn't their forte. Give this spot a try. read more

So I have to write a review so I can remember next time not to come here. I just ordered a shredded beef lunch special. The taste is ok, but my $7 lunch special is mostly filled with shredded onions and peppers. Did I order shredded vegetables with rice and a side order of beef? This dish should mainly be beef with sprinkles of vegetables as a side. How is it 40% vegetables 55% rice with 5% of meat?! This is a total rip off. I remember the last time I came here a few years back I also was disappointed with their ridiculous portions. I'd skip this place and head straight into the heath of flushing for better portions of food. I usually buy a box of mala from new world mall for $13 and the entire take out container is meat. Rice had a few peas and carrots, and was a bit dry, but there was enough sauce to counter that. However, the sauce was sweet, which I do not like, and a bit spicy, which I did like. The wonton soup looks like tea, but seems fine. I got a cookie, but wasn't told I had to get my own spoon and napkins. Overall, pretty good. I'd like better, but it would do. Average. read more

Good, quick and clean. Can't ask more from a Chinese takeout place. I've done a few of their lunch specials and had no complaints. I do like that they sit their sauces on the counter for you to take. It very heavy in sugar and I find it a bit greasy and bit expensive for Chinese food. And I am not sure if they clean the broccoli enough either. There were bugs on the broccoli that I ordered. Soooo I Made the mistake of ordering at this place twice. The both times I've ordered it was horrible, the customer service is horrible, they don't accommodate at all. I ordered 2 large shrimp and broccoli with white rice and I was told it was $12.95 each but when the delivery driver came the total instead of being around $25-26 it was $35!!!!!. They also forgot to put my beverage in the bag and then got mad when I called to claim it after they had already charged me for it. I would give a zero if I could. read more

I have been ordering / eating in / taking out chinese food from this place for over 17 years. Most chinese take out places are some what ghetto/dirty but this one is CLEAN, well run, and tasty. The prices are cheap, but the quality of the food is much better than other take out places. Keillys uses quality seafood/meat and their food doesn't feel / taste super greasy. Awful customer service. I ordered for a delivery and they took my order wrong. Not only did I have to physically go to pick up my correct order (what's the point of a delivery, right?), they made me pay a $4 dollar difference for their mistake.....ok I understood...I paid. But then I was subject to an aggressive verbal confrontation with the baboon (young Male Asian) who took my order incorrectly. I couldn't believe I was hearing this from them. He told me "I can't believe we serve people like you." "You need to learn to speak clearly on the phone" (now I don't want to get all racial, but come on? Really? I barely understood his "perfect" English). They didn't want to disclose his name stating "we never hired him-he doesn't work here" yet clearly he is packing people's food. I am in shock with the service I received today-being a loyal customer to the overpriced Chinese food in the Whitestone area-I never thought I would be treated this way. The place is clean.....I'm not so sure I can say the same for the people working there. I suggest management re-evaluate their hiring process. The food in this fast food restaurant is decent and they do offer a good variety of food. I think it's a bit expensive and that is why I only order from here if I am craving cheese ragoon and thin french fries. Other Chinese restaurants in College Point do not have cheese ragoon in their menu or make thin french fries. I really don't understand why but whatever. The price is a bit more, about a dollar more, than the other Chinese fast food restaurants that are located in the college point area and the typical food like sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken tastes the same. The delivery time is about 20 minutes - it depends on how much food you are ordering and where you are located. But again I really just order from here if I'm craving the crab ragoon and/or the French fries. If not then I'll just order from Kai-Ying or Happy Town. read more
