Great food at reasonable prices, though seating is limited with just a few tables available. I tried the beef noodle soup, dan dan noodles, and pork potstickers, opting for light spice on both noodle dishes. While the beef noodle soup was satisfying, the real standouts were the dan dan noodles and pork potstickers. The dan dan noodles had a perfect balance of spice and a rich, nutty flavor from the sesame paste and crushed peanuts, combined with savory ground pork. The pork fried dumplings were packed with flavor, wrapped in a delicate, thin wrapper that was perfectly crisped.

Mom and pop noodle shop in College Point. A hidden gem! The noodles were freshly pulled and perfectly cooked. Also can't beat the price and portion size, only $10 / dish.

This is a little hidden gem, hole in the wall in this neighborhood. The place is small and local but the food is good. The shrimp fried rice were so tasty. You can tell they used the wok to cook it. The pork dumplings were decent. The prices here are so cheap! Both were only $9. There's 12 pieces of dumplings! Would try their noodles next time.

I went here with my family because we were looking for a place to eat close to the salon I go to. I didn't expect that much because I didn't see a lot of reviews here at yelp but all the noodles we ordered were very good. Definitely coming back here!

All were delicious! I have bought it and re-heated it up the next day as well and it still taste good! Tried the shark fin soup as well and it is thicker (not very soupy) but flavor is great. If you don't like the thickness you can always add some water to it. Definitely a go to spot if I am in the area :)

This is Hong Kong style done right, and in Flushing you're getting the real thing at prices that genuinely rival what you'd pay in China. We lucked into a nice day and grabbed a seat outside. Service was fast and furious, which is exactly what you should expect and honestly want from a spot like this. You're not here for a leisurely dining experience, you're here to eat something delicious and get on with your day. My one gripe, and it applies to the whole surrounding area and not just Maxi's: there are basically no bathrooms to be found. Plan accordingly before you commit to a big bowl of soup. Cheap, tasty, authentic. Everything a Flushing noodle spot should be.

Everything was absolutely amazingly fresh and Yummylicious! The wontons are so huge, I have eat it in 2 bites. The best part is there's a jumbo shrimp in each wonton. The dumplings are so addicting too. Especially since I don't like the hard skin but they use a thin wrapping for their dumplings (like their wontons) which I love. For the lo mein, I loved the option to add beef stew sauce to the noodle. The extra charge is so worth it! Maxi's Noodle 2 definitely deserves my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Two thumbs up! Maxi's Noodle 2 is now my go-to spot for wontons, dumplings, beef stew, shark fin soup, dace, etc.

There is parking to be found in the surrounding residential neighborhood or the meters along Main St, but you might have to compete for spaces with patrons of other restaurants on this strip. As you enter, the big neon sign on the back wall names Maxi as 雲吞妹, Wonton Sister. I wish she were my sister making those delicious wontons! The golf-ball sized wontons are the star of the show! They are stuffed with shrimp in a delicate noodle wrapper floating in a tasty broth. The Chinese beef stew makes a great compliment to a bowl of steamy noodles with tender slices of beef flank and beef tendons (my favorite part). Noodle dishes can also be ordered Hong Kong style on a plate with broth on the side. We also get a dish of boiled vegetables with oyster sauce to round out our meal (usually baby Chinese Broccoli or choy sum). The menu has expanded since the last time we were here with new side dishes like curry fish balls and braised shiitake mushrooms that you can get over noodles or a la carte. There are even bubble teas now! If you like, you can even get a box of fried fish skin to go. Just remember that you have to bus your own table.

I like their food because it's simple, tasty, and comes out quickly. The Khong Rou Fan is comforting and flavorful, and the Niu Rou Mian is always a good choice when you want something warm and satisfying. The string beans were a nice light appetizer to start. It's kind of a semi-service place -- you order at the counter and clean up after yourself when you're done, so there's no need to leave a tip if you dine in. The cashier who took our order is always nice, friendly, and polite, which makes the experience pleasant. The place is also always clean, which I appreciate.
