I connected with Jason originally when dealing with a toilet leak. They were able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently, and bonus points for being kind to my dog! Several months later, I had questions about updating a main line valve. Jason answered all of my questions and explained things to me in layman's terms so I felt confident I understood what was being done and how the plumbing would operate. When Jason came out for the appointment that week, he arrived on time and made the update for me (and left me with a bonus pressure gauge since I didn't have one). That day, I asked if he could come up with an invoice for another upgrade I was considering and he obliged. That next week, he came back and completed project that was on my "to do" list for months! To my dismay, a couple days later, I noticed something had gone wrong that could be related to the upgrade he did. I texted him thinking it could be related but also communicated I was unsure. He immediately scheduled one of his staff to come out that morning to come take a look and do the repair. And to my surprise, Jason resolved the invoice for the final repair as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The 5 star reviews must be from family and friends! Andrew came out on 11/25 for our leaking hot water heater. Took 8 days to get a new one and that's only because I called 7 days after he was here. He installed the hot water heater on 12/4. The next day I noticed water leaking and black residue around the electrical plate on the front of the heater. Yep!! Electrical fire!!! One of the water lines was leaking. He also installed a shower head and ruined the oil bronze finish by putting a wrench on it. He also told me there was something wrong with the plumbing because there wasn't enough pressure. Of course there wasn't because the hot water heater is working. Geez! That should be plumbing 101! Stay away from this company they could possibly burn your house to the ground!! read more

HVP was serviced out via my home warranty company for a sewer backup. As they are feeding the snake through it's literally making really loud knocking noises in the walls, so much so that it made my pictures shift (see pics). I was told that the sewer line had collapsed in the yard...that of course is not covered by the warranty company. Quoted $6500 to replace and I was ready to have the work done but HVP was not very responsive. I called HVP and was told that they are waiting for the warranty company to approve, so I called the warranty company and they had not heard from HVP at all. Decided to get a second opinion and $150 later, the line was cleared! I asked about the knocking in the walls and the 2nd plumber said that HVP was feeding the snake in the wrong direction!! Knocking in the walls should be a sign to stop snaking and is supposedly Plumbing 101. Everyone makes mistakes but thank goodness they didn't respond in a timely manner, and that I got a 2nd opinion. This company installed a hot water heater in my home in July and the hot water line is completely rusted and leaking. When I called them he was rude and not helpful at all. When I tried to explain what was going on, he was short and argumentative saying that he installed it right, but if that was the case, why would it be leaking and rusted in 8 months. If your not going to honor the work that you do, then get out of the business. If you going to be rude to customers to whom you have served, be prepared for recourse. I previously gave Happy Valley Plumbing a 5* review for work done in our home several years ago (2019). Since then, I have used them for a number of projects both small and larger in scale. They have repaired a leaky shower head, replaced a bad garbage disposal, installed a water softener, and moved some water lines/installed a shower pan when I was renovating a bathroom. For the first several things I would have (and did) give them a 5* review. When they were helping with my bathroom reno in January of 2021, they did a poor job of installing the shower pan and after several subpar attempts by different employees I ended up doing it myself. Nonetheless, I did not change my rating of this group. Until today. On Sunday (6/11) I noticed that my water softener, installed by Jason at Happy Valley Plumbing about 3 years ago, had a small leak. I called them Monday (6/12) to see if I could get someone to come out and have a look: No response. Called again on 6/13: No response. 6/14: No response. 6/15: No response. As of 6/15 I decided to call another plumber since Happy Valley seems to have no interest in responding to client calls or coming to stand by/repair his work, and my small leak is now significantly worse. Based on my recent experiences with this company, I cannot recommend anyone uses them for any plumbing needs. read more

Great service, reliable, and industry average cost. We had HV Plumbing come out to fix our hose bib, and they discovered our hot water heater was leaking. It had caused damage in the walls, they arranged with our permission to have a restoration company come out-whom have been fantastic too. The house bib was fixed that day, and the new hot water heater was installed the next morning. The pricing was fair compared to other plumbers. The plumber was professional, and on time. Highly recommended! Had a leak in 2nd floor bathroom that two separate plumbers came out and did a quick fix repair that failed. Using home warranty referred plumbers left me with what they sent. The second repair failed and Happy Valley came out and determined the shoddy work by first two companies resulted in a complete failure and drain pipe actually breaking. Fast forward to today when they came out to do repair. Access from attic/garage was so limited that repairing the pipe without removing the tub was the initial thought. Andrew(tech) called and Jason the owner dropped what he was doing and came over to give a second opinion. They were able to figure out a way to do the repair without tearing out the bathtub(saving us thousands of dollars). They easily could have walked away from the job like the first 2 companies, using the access issue as the reason. The warranty company would've put the charge for removing and replacing the tub to me. Great experience from what could have been a horrible expensive one. Not wanting him to service the work after he hung up on me, I called the office and Isaac, another technician, came out without the solution to flush the tankless water heater. Apparently he had to order the solution. No call from the office to re-schedule. I called and made the appointment. The day came, no Isaac. I called the office and was told that the work order wasn't covered so he didn't come. NO CALL TO TELL ME THAT. Only use this company if you want extremely poor customer service. this company is a total sham. had them referred to us by our home warranty company and they scammed me out of $180.00, $75 for the trade fee, and $105 for their services. and all they were supposed to do was fix a faucet, but their plumber wrote up that our garbage disposal was broken and that we had a pipe leak outside. Absolutely untrue because we don't have a garbage disposal, never had one, and never had a leaky pipe outside. The plumber said to just pay the $105 and not worry about the service trade fee and now i have wound up paying both. And it took them 4 days to replace my faucet. Outrageous!! If i could give a minus 10 rating i would. If your home warranty company recommends them tell them you want to use another plumber and you will save yourself some money and unwarranted stress! read more

I used my home warranty the first time for a snake drain and was very impressed with the technician Isaac. When I had another plumbing issue a few weeks later that my home warranty wouldn't cover I called Happy Valley Plumbing. Jason (the owner) answered the phone at 9 pm and was able to fit me in first thing the next morning before his scheduled clients. He went over pricing with me over the phone so I knew what to expect. He walked me through exactly what he was doing and showed me the old and new parts. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Happy Valley Plumbing. I was referred to them through my home warranty. I noticed my toilet was leaking and filed a claim through home warranty. Happy Valley was prompt and called to set up appointment. The plumber came and put a new wax ring in. I thought all was well until I noticed the toilet was still leaking. It appeared the leak was coming from the top tank. I called my home warranty and they re opened the claim and said Happy Valley will call me to set up another appointment or I could call them. I waited all day for a call and never received one. I called them and left a message and still not have heard anything. This is very concerning considering all the great reviews I have read through on this company. I don't believe you deserve a "one star" but I had no choice. read more

We have had Jason S. out twice and we'll have him come out again, when our 10 year old hot water heater dies. He is punctual, very polite and caring, and most of all, he knows his stuff. We first had our bath tub and shower replaced because our home builder did not install them correctly from day 1, and both had non-fixable cracks in the bottoms. His price was very reasonable considered the work that went into it. This week he replaced our dysfunctional 26 year old toilet with an ADA toilet.
