I'm confused on where this is because when we went there we thought it was supposed to be Stir Fry Cafe and it was this place. Anyways, I think it's brand new and it's a wonderful place to eat. The service was GREAT. The server and the host were extremely friendly and I couldn't believe how many times she made sure we were doing okay and refilled our drinks right when we needed them. It could have been because it was getting late and not as many people were there, but oh well I was happy. The food was delicious. Lettuce wrap - yummy! Tofu and it doesn't even seem like it, it was so tasty. They bring out a free wonton appetizer and different dipping sauce and you can mix them together too. I got the sweet and sour shrimp, very good, the rice was a little dry but it still tasted pretty good. My boyfriend got a spicy tofu dish, I can't remember what it was but I know he enjoyed it and it was pretty spicy for him. But we both enjoyed it very much. Mango tea - MMM. Bits of mango in it, but not too sweet, more like an unsweetened iced tea with a touch of mango. I'm not usually a fan of unsweetened iced tea but this was good! TRY IT! read more

Everything could be improved. Should of known when on a Friday evening no one was in the place. Also before you order i guess you should always check the restroom. The floor had hair all over it and the door didnt lock. The eggfoo young was so greasy i couldn't eat it. The gravy tasted like a package of beef gravy that you pick up in the store. The lemon chicken batter would not stick on to the chicken. It was one of the worse meals i have ever had. I would leave negative 10 stars if i could. read more

Its taken me awhile to try Happy Wok because I just couldn't get a good sense of whether it was good enough from Yelp reviews and online pics. But after my third trip around my kitchen today and not wanting anything I had for lunch, I realized I really wanted some Mu Shu vegetables so I got Happy Wok delivered. I ordered a vegetable spring roll, Mu Shu Vegetables, and a plain fried rice side for my daughter. The vegetable spring roll and Mu Shu were both very good. The spring roll was crispy without being oily. The Mu Shu had a nice smoky flavor along with the hoisin that is used in the dish. It came with 4 pancakes, which resembled thin crepes. Usually when I order mu shu I get Mexican flour tortillas so I really enjoyed the pancakes. Where things fell short was the plain fried rice. It was, well, plain. And by plain I mean no frozen veggies and it seemed to be just yellow rice that wasn't fried. Ordinarily I wouldn't knock a restaurant down a star for a side dish, but this is fried rice in a Chinese restaurant. It's a staple and comes with almost every dish. I looked at pics online, and this appears to be the rice served with every dish. I would love to see an improvement on the fried rice. That would get it up to par with the other items I ate. read more

We didn't get all our order and when we called they were extremely rude saying we did when I had the receipt in front of me. Never again.

When I moved down to TN I scoured EVERYWHERE for a decent Chinese place and almost gave up until I found this place. From perfectly cooked Pork Lomei, wonton soup and chicken broccoli. Decent little take out place. I've ordered here several times over the past year and a half. The service is great! My favorites are the Mongolian beef and crab Rangoon. My carry out orders are always ready in a flash! They've never gotten an order wrong. The place is clean. Somewhat disappointed with our lunch. I ordered the kung pow chicken. The overall taste of the sauce was good. The vegetables were on the soggy side seemingly like the celery was past its prime. There was almost no chicken to speak of. After picking all the chicken out I think there was barely a total of one ounce. My partners moo shu pork was much the same way. If you are meat eater like us, save your money and go next door to Simms Pizzaria for lunch and order the buffalo chicken salad. read more

I've been to Happy Wok on numerous occasions and I've always been satisfied. They some of the best hot and sour soup and General Tso's I've found in the area. The best deal is by far the lunch specials, but if you miss those, the dinner portions are gigantic (easily feeds 2) which offsets the higher prices. read more
