    Moo goo gai pan chicken.

Good fresh chinese takeout tried the moo goo gai pan and garlic beef on the suggestion of the owner and was good. Also the jumbo shrimp with snow peas was tasty. Not like a big city takeout but good for lunch. Will definitely come back.

The food was delicious. The service was great and the food came in a timely manner. Everything was reasonably priced. The portion of food you get also was good. One meal was enough to feed 2 people.

In the Kroger shopping center. Grand Opening 12/14/15!!

So, there are a couple of booths and 2 tables but it looks like they're set up mostly for takeout. The menu is pretty standard for an East Tennessee Chinese storefront. And it still has that new Panda smell! Very clean very prompt. I ordered beef and broccoli and asked them to make it spicy; it was sort of spicy but not too hot. The hot and sour soup was good. They opened about 2 weeks later than they expected to open. More will be revealed.

First of all it is nice that there is a local Chinese restaurant for takeout and dining near the university now. So bravo and I am happy you are here!!! The Kroger strip mall is becoming food central with all the recent and existing restaurants now - there are at least 6 at my count. This is great for us locals - I hope it will be good for the restaurants that have opened as well. I was excited to go to Panda House for the first time to check it out. I spent some time talking to the manager that opened this location - apparently the owner is in MO and has a few locations -- she has done a great job getting this one open and is very enthusiastic to see this one do well. So I asked what menu item she would most recommend. She came up with General Tso's Chicken - this was one of the most expensive (for this location) item on the menu coming in at $10 which is pretty high for an item for take out at a Chinese restaurant here. I took her advice anyway .. I was surprised I was not asked what type of rice I wanted -- so I got white rice which was okay. I also order the Hot and Sour Soup $2 which is excellent!!. Everything is cooked to order which is great. General Tso's chicken was overly sweet and ( my own fault) not very healthy. I will be trying healthier options in the future. But I would call it average .. not great but pretty good. The lunch menu has great prices and I will try that next. All orders come with won tons and of course a fortune cookie. I really want to give a higher rating in the future but for value and taste for the food I got I would call this place average thus the ratings. Never the less I am glad they opened and will give them more chances to increase my rating.

The chow mein noodles are dried up. They must've changed their supplier. Very poor, poor quality.

Not. I ordered the spicy broccoli and shrimp. Very bland and tasteless. The chicken wings tasted like they came from frozen banquet.

Alexis didn't just "check availability" -- she problem-solved. She found a way to get us in, coordinated seating, and even paired us with a fantastic waiter so the whole night ran smoothly. From the moment we walked in, everything felt taken care of. No stress, no awkward waiting, no rushed service -- just a fun, relaxed girls' night because she clearly went out of her way behind the scenes to make it happen. Customer service like that is rare. She turned what could've been a chaotic night into one of the best dinners we've had in a long time. 10/10 experience and it started with Alexis. Bonefish -- keep her forever.

They had run the credit card in "authorize" mode with an estimated total plus tip amount in tiny print, then took that amount and printed it in bold as the actual receipt Total *without tip*, and then put a line below that to add MORE tip, effectively doubling the expected tip. When I noticed this and asked a manager about it, she gave an answer that was "yes we know this is happening but don't know how to stop it from doing that, golly gosh technology is hard" and we specifically marked on our receipt we were fine with the first estimated tip amount but did not agree to doubling that, completely scratched out the prior written amounts before we understood what was going on, and left feeling not so great but hopeful we would only be charged for one tip. Days later the statement comes in, we were double charged for the tip even though we signed a receipt with only one tip amount. That's not legal guys, that's fraud. Look I understand, tech is hard, running a business is hard, running a restaurant these days is really tough. But you can't let your credit cards get charged incorrectly, and I'm pretty sure you know this and are doing it anyway.

The beer, some from an attached brewery, was great, with a nice range of styles. Not everything on tap was another IPA. In terms of food, I'm not their target audience, but they do seem to have made at least some effort to have something without meat on the menu. In terms of food, I ordered the house salad with a smoked vegetable topping. It was great. The smoked vegetables were a really nice way to get a little bit of barbecue into a vegetarian dish. They also added lots of flavor to the salad. I was afraid the salad might not be very substantial, so I also ordered some pickle fries. Those were interesting, but substantially more food than I needed. The salad is already plenty for a meal.
