This was probably the best Thai food I've ever had. I grew up in Minneapolis/St. Paul and we have a lot of amazing Asian and Thai restaurants there. This place was better than any that I had there. We had the golden bags for an appetizer and they were so amazing I could have made a meal out of 2 plates of them. We also had two amazing entrees. I had never had my entree before and it was so freaking good. They put so much care into their entrees and it was obvious. All white meat chicken, tender steak, great service. We're in town for a convention but I have a feeling I'll be craving this place for a long time! read more

I'm from Atlanta and this place does a really good job--better than a lot of places there. The food is fresh, portions are generous and have good flavor. Their basil rolls are unique in that they have pineapple in them as well as the usual ingredients. The only thing I don't like is they only have bottled drinks. We stopped by on a Saturday evening at around 6:15. It's a very small place. We had no problem finding a table. Started with the crab Rangoon. It was a winner. Crab Rangoon is hubby's favorite and we get it quite often. This one did not disappoint. The waitress was friendly and helpful. She chuckled when I said I wanted my dish spicy. We settled for "a little bit" of spice. This was just perfect ! The food was freshly made and delicious. We would definitely come back and try a different dish. Noticed quite a bit of carry out. What a great find while traveling. A very clean restaurant in a small shopping center. We ordered a Tom Yum Gai soup, fresh, full of veggies and seasoned perfectly. I have been to this place so many times and just love it! This time my husband and I went for lunch this time, and ordered a bunch of things which so so great but so fulfilling that we took half of it home for dinner! The ambience is cozy, with great service. Our server was friendly and was answering all our questions patiently. We had curry puffs and papaya salad as starters. Curry puffs were really delicious, but the salad was okay. My husband ordered Massaman Curry with tofu (spice level 2) and he really loved it. It was one of the best I ever tried! Thai Noodle Town is by far the best Thai place in the Tri Cities area and other than Bangkok itself, the best I've had.. If you want fresh, wholesome, authentic Thai food...this is the go too. Spending a fair amount of time in Thailand with true authentic Thai food, it's truly hard to find a local place that meets my expectations. They nail it every time, from the true Thai hospitality, the cleanliness of the establishment and the comfortable loving feel from the staff. First time visitors to the area, we were VERY pleasantly surprised to find Thai food of such good quality here in Kingsport. The service was great, especially when my friend told the person taking our order that she has a shellfish allergy. He took her allergy very seriously, documenting it for the chef so it was handled correctly. That care continued when the food came out and her food was handed to her in a bag separate from mine so we felt confident with the ingredients. The ambiance actually surprised me. i wish I had taken some pictures since the ones on the Yelp site are not at all what it looks like today. We had already planned to get our food to-go, partially due to those pictures.
