I enjoyed my time at Rosa this past Friday. I decided to go have a treat while writing a soliloquy or two on my self-care day off work. Upon walking in you're greeted by the warmest posh vibes, the aesthetic is giving "ladies who lunch". While the base color palette and decor soothes you, the vibrant art on the walls excites you. There are many fope pieces to marvelous at while you enjoy your time there. I enjoyed a pastry with spinach and feta which was really flaky deliciousness. I also ordered a lavender lemonade because I'm trying to avoid drinking so much coffee. There are plenty of coffee drink options on the menu, however. There are also several other drink options to choose from including teas and lemonades. All of the pastries looked great. My total with lemonade and pastry was $9. Each of the items on the menu seem appropriately priced and affordable. You won't break the bank at this particular coffee shop. There are several tables and seating options, so if you're there to read alone, meeting with friends or colleagues, you'll find accommodation. I recommend earbuds or headphones if you need to concentrate or relax. Overall it is a very relaxed atmosphere with a diverse crowd. Free street parking is available.

A vibe. Located in Grandmont/Rosedale Park. It's more than a coffeehouse. They host events including the community, music events and most recently yoga. It's a cozy space for tea, coffee, and even cocktails. Events are updated regularly on social media. The service has been consistent and I've enjoyed a latte, a DJ Selector event and yoga.

If I could I would give Rosa's 10 stars. The drinks: I had a black coffee and later a cocktail, (tequila lavender lemonade) perfect. I also had a chocolate cake slice that was velvety dark and decadent. The service was honestly magical because I barely remember ordering and my drinks and snack just kind of appeared in front of me back at my table. I was there for an event later than normal hours and it was very busy so how efficient they were was even more beautiful. Rosa's is in my neighborhood and I am excited to become a regular.

Location: Conveniently located on Grand River near W. Outer Drive in the North Rosedale Park neighborhood. Street parking only. Service & Cafe: There was one barista when we visited. They were friendly and efficient. The cafe has cute decor with several seating options (including larger tables and booths- which is hard to come by in cafes!) they also have art exhibited and available for purchase. Drinks: We ordered a vanilla latte and jasmine tea. Both of which were made perfectly! They do offer pastries and bottled drinks as well. We'll definitely be back when in the area!

I was wanting coffee and not that fast food chain coffee either. So one of my colleagues told me about Rosa and I stopped in the first time yesterday to give them a try and I'm excited to say I found my nearby coffee shop. The coffee is good and my favorite thing to order is lattes. So of course I had to grab my caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso and oat milk. Needless to say I came back today. The space is just so laid back, and gives me that "boss" feeling when I walk in. You can come here and have a meeting with your clients, come for a coffee date with your bestie, or just take a load of to have some me/focus time. This space is great for it all. I'm grateful that Rosa is here in this community. Perfect location, great coffee, great atmosphere, and I'm assuming the food is just as good. If you are in the area, stop by! Even walk in just to take a peek of the space and secure your next meeting. Just show up for this business! Coffee is community.

The city was bustling with people, and I was pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the downtown area was. The café had a vibrant, energetic atmosphere that perfectly matched the excitement of the city. Our server was absolutely amazing and made excellent recommendations. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. Based on the recommendation, I ordered the corned beef hash with the cinnamon pancakes, and both were fantastic. Next time, I definitely want to try the red velvet pancakes! My friend ordered the Triple Triple Omelette with the original buttermilk pancakes, and we both chose the cheesy grits. The cheesy grits were very creamy, though I would recommend adding a little more butter to enhance the flavor. That was really my only critique. The restaurant was busy, but after dining there, I completely understand why. Despite the crowd, we were greeted immediately, and the service was prompt throughout our visit. Overall, Hudson Café delivered great food, outstanding service, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. I will most certainly be back the next time I'm in downtown Detroit!

I imagine a reservation is a must for a weekend. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and drinks and food came out quickly. I appreciate they have espresso drinks, and ordered the chai latte but it was a little too sweet for me - I'd go with a plain latte next time. I also think I may have ordered the wrong dish because my mom got an omelette with pancakes on the side and enjoyed it. I gambled with the huevos rancheros but they were just ok. I wish the potatoes were more seasoned. You definitely get a huge portion for whatever you order so expect to split with someone or have leftovers. All in all, a solid brunch spot but not a favorite.

This is part of a multi-use group of buildings and they seem to have the prime spot right at the corner. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a clean and pleasant space with high ceilings and green and gold decor. It's all new and there is a variety of seating types. I chose to sit at a small table near the side entrance. They have so many great food and beverage options, it was hard to choose. The nice young lady who took my order was very patient with me - I had lots of questions being my first time here. I ended up with a Mocha Pearls drink, Nutella Dubai Baklava, and an Almond Croissant. The drink was supposed to have chocolate pearls in it but I suppose since I ordered it hot, they melted. It basically tasted like a chocolate mocha so I would like to come back and try something different next time. The baklava sent me to the moon and back - I love chocolate baklava and it's hard to come by. Add the "Dubai" crunch kataifi with pistachio and I'm done! It was amazing! The Croissant was served warm and it had an almond paste inside. Soooo fresh and good! I love the attention to details and the care they took to serve everything so visually appealing. I appreciate that added touch. I will be back - and likely often!

In all fairness, I'm probably not the target market here - they have a huge drink menu with lots of different syrups and flavorings but I'm more of a no frills coffee person. The first time I got a plain latte and it was just ok, so this time I tried one of their specialties - the Mont Cloud. I assumed it would be mostly coffee and some cream but I guess it was a cloudy day because it was mostly cream (and ice) for $7. I also decided to try the basbusa because I've never had it before, but again ended not being up my alley since it's syrup-soaked. Oh well. The inside is decorated really cute and there's lots of different kinds of seating. They also have an outdoor patio area. Free parking since this coffee shop is located in a little strip mall. 3.5 stars overall.

The Bao's were the smaller dumplings and didn't travel as well, but the flavor was still quite good (Bao don't travel that well, even only 2 miles). Would definitely recommend. However after placing our order on the screen, the two iced latte drinks came out with no espresso added? Apparently on the ordering screen you have to CHOOSE to add espresso, which is counterintuitive because then it's just sugar milk. Anyways that was fixed and my bubble fruit tea was good. I appreciate all the ways to personalize the tea and it's Good that they have non dairy drinks options! The staff person kinda awkwardly set the tray on our table and left - she didn't hand out the drinks to us, which is kind of weird? The cake we ordered took awhile to come out even though it was right there in the display - and I even inquired about it. we were done with our drinks by the time it came out - so it wasn't great timing and we were just over it. The spoons were cute but way too small to enjoy anything - my kiddo liked it though for a few bites. I feel like this was just for ambience and not really sustenance, not sure if I would come back. Maybe for the noodles or other foods but there's lot of other options nearby! They also advertise pizza on their front sign but I didn't see any on the inside menu...? Easy lot parking - watch out for the large pothole up front though!
