Oh my! This place has been added to my list of favorites! It's a chill place to hang out or just enjoy great coffee and great food. It sure is quite a relaxing environment. You can enjoy reading a book or studying while enjoying your meal. The staff are very nice. And ate pretty quick in preparing what you order. We didn't wait too long for our order. Now the food was very good. The sandwich and the grilled cheese was pleasantly satisfying. The gooey cheese formed a string as you slightly bit into the grilled cheese and trying to stretch it as far as you could without breaking the string of cheese. The latte my husband enjoyed to the fullest. It was exactly what he needed to warm his belly. And the soup did the same to me. Such a warm sensation warming the rest of my body. Can't wait to return. I have gotten very picky with coffee lately in that I refuse to go anywhere that doesn't make their own flavor syrups, so I was glad to find that this place makes their own! I got a mocha latte and added their toasted marshmallow, which was a great combo! The price was not bad compared to other coffee shops and the coffee had such a smooth flavor. It took a little longer than I'd expect to come out, but it was nice and hot when it did and I didn't mind waiting. The inside is very cute, with several different types of seats and it was a good place to study or read. If I'm in the area again I'd definitely love to come back! read more

I ordered a mocha latte and it was super delicious! The price was akin to Starbucks, but I'd say the flavor was better here. The cafe wasn't too big but there were plenty of tables to allow plenty of people to chat and work. I'll absolutely be coming back here if I ever need a place to work outside of home. read more

I had a great first visit. I went to study for about 6 hours. The place does get quite chilly so I recommend bringing a sweater when you come. The staff are very nice. They had great recommendations. I went with their seasonal menu item with matcha. All their orders come with a cookie which I was not aware of and loved the additional sweet treat. It tends to get crowded though. Such a cute place. Very friendly staff, very clean and welcoming place to sit and wait for your order or eat in. The food was great. We had muffins which were very tasty and took a couple pastries to go. We also had their version of a white chocolate mocha w an extra shot. This used to be my go to place when I was in school for studying and meeting friends, but since (from hearsay) owner changed and such, the atmosphere has completely changed. No music, and not a go to place anymore. My 2 recent coffees were pretty good, but my friend once got a chai latte that, and I wish I were exaggerating, tasted like milky water. I found this place because I go to ideal image next-door and I feel like East Orlando doesn't have a lot of coffee shops, but this place is my all-time favorite. First of all, it's what you think a little coffee shop looks and feels like. The ambience is so quaint and cozy and it makes me feel like I'm in a small town enjoying the best cup of coffee. It's really rare for a place to make you feel like this in Orlando, but I don't know how to explain it. I tried their seasonal Fall Morning drink (iced) and the first sip, took me to heaven. I'm not just saying that, the coffee is great quality it doesn't give me a stomach ache or that heartburn sensation. The prices are average for coffee, nowadays, especially specialty drink. I actually spent 2 hours reading on my iPad, enjoying their strawberry matcha iced latte. I also had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which did not disappoint. What a cute find! The coffee bar is the most calming and peaceful one in the area. It's aesthetically pleasing with all the cute decorations, and the place is pretty quiet with most patrons studying or working (they have soft music playing so it's not dead silent). The place is very clean as well with lots of seating. The coffee is delicious!! I can't emphasize that enough. The workers are super friendly as well and gave us a bunch of recommendations and secret menu items they offered. We ordered one of them being a cappuccino with coconut and I think vanilla syrup. It's whatever they told us a lot of people have been ordering lately. They also have something called the Mariah Carey which I thought was unique. I had this coffee shop on my list and I always forget to stop by when I am in the Waterford area. I finally made it in and I can't believe I have passed it many times! The shop is in a plaza and it is cute, with plenty of seating and a nature vibe. I was greeted by a gentleman and he took my order. He was patient with my questions and he suggested I gave the coffee a try instead of a tea and sure did, since I needed my afternoon pick me up. I ordered a latte with oatmilk to go (extra charge for milk and to go order) and it was tasty. It felt more like a cappuccino since it was mostly foam but good because it was not bitter. This gem is tucked in a busy plaza on Alafaya and you might miss it if you're not careful. It's well loved by students and usually the tables are taken up but there is a decent amount of seating. They've got great food and drink options and we usually stop by for the seasonal options. The vibes are hipster, mainly because everyone who works there looks as if they take coffee very seriously. Huge fan of their seasonal drinks! The holiday ones this year were so good. I really enjoyed the Matcha that they have. They also have a great selection of pastries. The guava and cheese pastry was soo good i'm perfectly flakey; I don't usually get pastries, but when I saw it, I had to try it, and it did not disappoint. Very quiet, the tables are spaced out nicely so you don't feel to cramped next to the other patrons. I get a dirty chai with oatmilk and my husband gets a london fog with oatmilk. The drinks are good and not overly sweet, the espresso never has a bitter/burnt taste. Though there are a few other places in town that are slightly better than here for lattes and coffees, I do always make sure to stop by when I want a chai or london fog because Vespr does both better than most places around. read more

Positives: - A large, comfortable space with a number of work-or-study-appropriate tables. - Work-friendly vibe, with most people head-down in their books and laptops. - Friendly staff. - Coffee beverages are nicely presented. The complimentary cookie is a nice touch. Detractors: - At $4.25, their 12-oz americano might be the most expensive in town (by way of comparison, the same beverage is $3 at my neighborhood coffee shop, Baldwin Perk, and Foxtail charges $4). - I found my drink a little more bitter than I'm used to. I had some time to kill before I had to get back to work on a weekday morning, so I decided to have breakfast and coffee at Vespr. Everything was good, but it took way to long to get everything and the place wasn't very crowded. This is more of a chill place to hang out and when the food/drinks get to your table, they do. On an un-crowded day, I waited over 10 minutes for my coffee and about 20 for the panini. The Mom's coffee had a delicious flavor with the coffee, oat milk, and lavender all steamed together. It was served in a glass which was way too hot to the touch for my delicate hands. I literally The Panini with Vegan Chorizo was tasty but pretty darn thin as far as ingredients. The bread was perfectly crispy and not greasy at all which was nice. It could have used more chorizo. I also splurged and got a sunny side up egg on it, but there was no runny yolk at all. I'd give it another try and maybe try some of the different concoctions of coffee drinks, but I'd make sure I'm not in any hurry. read more

Sad to be updating my review. For whatever reason, the coffees I've been getting for months and months don't taste the same. The quality has noticeably declined. Also, a solid majority (if not all) of the contents of the case on the counter comes from Costco, just at a hellacious premium. The place is still clean, but the vibe is not there anymore, and neither is my go-to coffee. I'll still choose Vespr over shmarbucks, but begrudgingly. read more

So incredibly sad to do this. Vespr has been me and my husbands favorite place to go for working remotely, creative meetings or just date nights. It's original owner Ed really created an amazing space and environment for all of these things to be conducive, fun, and ultimately led us to amazing adventures as well as business ideas. He sold to another owner who did a lot of changes with table seating, painting, etc. but ultimately the staff, music and coffee remained the same as did our experience. Apparently it has been sold to yet another owner. The coffee that I've gotten for years "maple bourbon latte" was absolutely nothing like what it used to be, lacking in flavor as well as the fun design we used to get. The atmosphere is noticeably different with signs that say "restrooms for customers only" and apparently it was such a problem they needed to put a coded lock on the door? It's not downtown, nor in a big city area to remotely have problems in this area. Additionally, the country music put us over the edge and completely changed the whole vibe. I couldn't wait to get out of that place fast enough. It used to be a variance of low-fi, hip hop, soul type music that made the environment along with the art on the walls which is no longer there to support local artists a whole vibe. I'll miss what Vespr once was in its glory days. I don't have a pic of the ugly tasteless coffee (I should have taken one) but I'll post a pic for memory sake and to show the new owner what it used to look like when I received a Bourbon Maple Latte. read more
