My husband and I shared an Asian Jumbo Walking Taco with Fried Haddock and a Haddock Reuben. The walking tacos are more of a wrap/small burrito than a taco (and also not a bag of Fritos like what I know a walking taco to be). This was one of the best meals we had on our 10 day Maine trip. The fish was so fresh and I loved the unique preparation. You see a lot of the same type of stuff in coastal Maine, so this was a great change of pace. It's a small shack along the coast in Camden. There are some picnic tables nearby that you can eat at. The food was ready fast and the owner was very friendly. read more

Great place to stop by if you want quick, friendly service and a good meal. Went w the shrimp poor boy $7.50. Batter was very flavorful. Shrimp nice and crisp. If you're hungry then order 2 but it was perfect for what I wanted. Cheeseburger was excellent as well. Places to sit outside or take it back to your room like we did on a rainy day. read more

This place is great!! Right by the water with good parking near beautiful downtown Camden, decent prices, and yummy (fast) seafood. I ordered a "Asian" fish taco with shrimp, which was wrapped in a tortilla like a burrito. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and it was flavorful - I do wish there was a spicy sauce or a creamy sauce for it, but it was still good. My dad ordered a hot dog and my mom ordered fish and chips. My parents both enjoyed their food - you can't really mess up a hot dog or fish and chips but both were fresh and good for the price. read more

Pretty straight forward- they know what they are doing and they do it well. Admittedly I only had one item from the menu, the Red Snapper. The service was quick, the hot dog was just as expected - red and snappy - and the bun was griddled perfectly. If you enjoy hot dogs then you will enjoy Harbor Dog. read more

Had an hour before boarding the Schooner Appledore for a sunset cruise on the bay..we spotted this little hut on the pier..time for a bite was kinda taken by surprise it's not just dogs but upscale dogs, sausages and burgers..but would it be Maine if they didn't have a Lobster Roll or Fish and Chips? I grabbed a Haddock Rueben and some sweet fries. The damage was 13$ and worth every penny! Fish was delicious and plentiful on grilled rye..so good! Awesome stop right by the water. They're open seasonally but great on the way to bar harbor in the summer. Lots of veggie options - i got the veggie dog and my bf got the combo fish/shrimp taco. Both were awesome and very reasonably priced. We sat by the water and it was a perfect lunch spot. Plus the owners are a delight :) read more

Found this little stand right next to the harbor. Grabbed the southwest fish taco and a burger. The fried fish was delicious!! We loved that it came wrapped as a burrito, made it easier to eat. Wished we would've gotten 2 tacos, they were that good! We watched the boats come in while eating our lunch, such a great experience. We will be back! read more

I absolutely recommend Harbor Dogs! The food is great. Their wraps are wonderful. I'm partial to the Santa Fe wrap, myself. The people are great and they even have veggie dogs. So if you don't want to spend a fortune going to a restaurant in Camden, try Harbor Dogs! Just be aware that the town charges you to park in the lot down there. read more

I ordered the fried haddock Reuben and it is one of the top sandwiches OF MY LIFE. Everything was perfectly cooked and fresh, the fish was delicious, the crunch was amazing, the sauerkraut was sharp and fresh, the bread was buttered and toasted to an ideal crispness, the Russian dressing was perfectly proportioned... my friends who insisted on ice cream for lunch looked in longingly as I enjoyed every last crumb. Hidden gem in Camden. The portions are perfect for lunch, and leave you feeling satisfied. We got a lobster roll (well toasted bread, perfectly dressed lobster), a Chilean dog (good sausage), and an Asian dog (tangy and full of veggies). The fries are really crispy and they taste great. All in all, amazing place to go if you want a casual, low key lunch. Bonus points for the view, it's picturesque even on rainy days. read more

Get the fish + shrimp tacos (more like a burrito) downeast style. You need to have this in your life with the crunchy seafood plus apple chutney. Thought the hot dogs were just ok and knocked off one star because the crab roll was super disappointing (don't even think it was fresh crab and got so little meat on the roll!). The walking tacos at Harbor Dogs are DIVINE! I had my first (the Down East taco) in 2018 and dreamed of coming back for it for 5 years. I finally made it back this week and it was just as good as I remember! I had to try all 3 they had to offer before we left and they were ALL delicious! We also tried a hot dog with grilled onions and sauerkraut and it was very delicious. If you're in Camden, you must try it! read more

Honestly wasn't expecting much from this spot, but the food and service really blew me away. The owners customized many of the options for our needs, offering smaller portions and veggie options. The veggie dog was high quality and loaded with toppings. I personally really enjoyed the tacos, which were more like a burrito, but full of meat and veggies. I was in Maine for a wedding and the one thing everyone on this planet told me to try was a lobster roll. So I made it my weekend mission to have a lobster roll from a different spot every day I was in Maine. Harbor Dogs was day three of four. I can't even compare all of the rolls but this one did not disappoint. So much good meat and the roll was well cooked. I got to enjoy my roll along the harbor so all in all such a great experience. The only downfall was I was tricked into buying a Moxie. Even Mainers don't drink it because it's like root beer with a cough syrup aftertaste. Not this place's fault, as I'm sure I recall the cashier saying, "are you sureeeee?" read more

Nice little food stand in a good area. Plenty of sitting options and the food was decent. I got a lobster roll that was ok. My dad got a crab roll that was good but small and messy. My brother and sister both complained the burgers weren't so good. And the fries were in need of salt. But since everything else was closed, full, unappealing this was a good last resort that I would not mind repeating. read more

This little hot dog stand was awesome!! So not what we expected. Ordered a couple Downeast Tacos and Ginger Beer. Delightful to enjoy on a picnic table by the Visitor Center. The taco is more of a burrito and makes a filling handheld meal, filled with all kinds of fresh seafood and a zippy sauce. Nice folks running the place too! read more

Lobster roll was good and the dogs were great. One of my dogs had shredded cheese on it. I would think melted cheese would have been better than cold cheese on the dog. Make sure you ask them about the toppings on the specialty dogs. One had a blueberry habanero topping which was quite unique and good. Will definitely return. read more

Amazing! We had the southwest & Chilean dog & shrimp taco (taco's are actually more like burritos and the shrimp is breaded FYI.) All 3 were absolutely worth it! We actually wanted to go back for dinner but they close at 4pm. The southwest styled options have a spivey black bean & corn salsa but also a blueberry bass aioli and it is to die for! Highly recommend stopping here for food & sitting on the water by the boats to eat! This is the perfect option for the family that doesn't all love seafood because you've got hotdogs & burgers too. I couldn't finish my roll so I took home some leftover lobster that I weighed at home. It weighed 4.7 oz more than what a normal lobster roll weighs regularly. I can safely say there was around 16z of fresh tender lobster meat. No chewiness incurred. Look closely at the pictures & start making plans to visit Red's Eats in Wiscasset Maine. We chose to go visit when they 1st opened on May 6th so the line we stood in was only 10-12 people deep. We will go back in October before they close for the season. This will be the most impressive lobster shack you'll ever experience. Make plans & drive there soon.

My lobster was not up to my standards.I also had a pomegranate -mock -a- .rita mocktail. Kris ordered a Caesar salad with anchovies & their bread of the night. The only upside from our table was we had a great view of the harbor. Our waitress Lila was very nice.
